Chapter 491: Top Assassin

Chapter 491: Chapter 491: Top Assassin

Jin Beibei glared at Li Feng angrily. However, she also knew this wasn’t the time to throw a fit. Someone had died, and there were guns involved—it was a major case. Suddenly, she turned away from Li Feng, took out her phone, and called Han Dong.

"Feng, you this—"

Bai He gave Li Feng a thumbs-up, while Li Feng had an innocent look on his face. He hadn’t done anything, well, not exactly nothing.

Li Feng remembered that during the enemy’s undercover operation, he had smacked her butt. She couldn’t still be holding a grudge, could she?

Bursts of static came from Bai He’s walkie-talkie, followed by a scream and then an urgent call for help.

"Boss Bai, something’s happened, someone forced their way into the funeral hall and started fighting with our brothers."

"Ah!"

"Let’s go!"

"Zhao Dong, be careful."

"I’m going all out."

Bai He was startled by the noises from the walkie-talkie. The funeral hall was under attack. Even though the manpower there had been reduced again, there were still many people guarding it, and his subordinates were made up of elite bodyguards who were former military.

Bai He looked up at Li Feng only to see that Li Feng had already dashed out with incredible speed toward the funeral hall below the cemetery. Bai He didn’t hesitate either and chased after him.

The direct distance from the opposite barren hill to the funeral hall wasn’t far, just over five hundred meters, but the actual distance was more than a thousand meters, having to go around the main gate and parking lot.

Li Feng ran at full speed, and it took him just over a minute. Even a hundred meters away, he could see the fight in front of the funeral hall, which was almost a one-sided crush—the casualties this time were Li Feng’s men.

From tens of meters away, Li Feng could hear the bone-breaking sounds of his men being beaten and the unbearable screams.

Li Feng watched the two burly figures wreaking havoc. Clearly, the group that came to Yan Country to kill him was not just a sniper unit, but a standard tactical squad.

Ten seconds.

Li Feng charged from a hundred meters away to the front of the funeral hall, where the bodyguards guarding the place were already lying down in disarray.

The aggressive assassin also noticed Li Feng racing toward him. One turned to meet Li Feng; the other continued to take down the bodyguards.

"Stop!"

Li Feng shouted angrily, eyes ablaze with killing intent at the sight of his groaning men on the ground and the bodyguards that lay motionless.

"Weaklings, so weak. None of these men is even enough for me to fight alone."

At the entrance of the funeral hall, the assassin ignored Li Feng’s shout, ruthlessly knocking down the bodyguards who charged at him with full vigor and viciously stepping on one of the bodyguard’s legs.

Crack.

The bodyguard’s leg was cruelly broken.

"Old Cao!" a fellow bodyguard, unable to contain his rage upon seeing his comrade’s leg brutally shattered, rushed forward and threw a punch at the assassin’s face.

The assassin, already on guard, blocked the punch and countered with a hefty blow, breaking the attacker’s nose and causing blood to gush out.

"Hmph, too weak."

"Hey, skinny monkey, your opponent is me."

The assassin from Lijia State smirked lasciviously at the approaching Li Feng, "Tsk, such tender skin and good looks, just like the intel said, a pretty boy indeed."

"Haha."

The Lijia State assassin didn’t take Li Feng seriously, as the intelligence had outlined Li Feng as nothing more than a pretty boy.

Li Feng, swift as an arrow, closed the distance to the Lijia State mercenary, who tauntingly reached out his large hand, "Come here, pretty boy."

Li Feng’s hand shot out like lightning, seizing one of the assassin’s fingers.

Snap.

The Lijia State assassin’s finger was immediately broken by Li Feng, who inhaled sharply from the pain. Fingers being extremely sensitive, even the tough and rugged Lijia State assassin felt the pain of his finger being broken.

"Pretty boy, you’re asking for it."

Enraged, the Lijia State assassin, like a wild gorilla, exuded an overwhelming presence. Li Feng watched the formidable figure before him, snorted coldly, grabbed the man’s wrist, and slipped under his arm.

Crack.

Li Feng directly dislocated one of the assassin’s arms, and the pain of the misaligned bones swept over the Lijia State hitman’s senses in an instant.

Before the wave of pain had passed, Li Feng kicked the back of the Lijia State hitman’s knee, and with a thump, the man dropped to one knee on the ground.

"Pretty boy, I’m going to kill you," the Lijia State hitman fumed with rage and embarrassment, unbelieving that he had been brought to his knees by a scrawny monkey. In his fury, he attempted to stand up.

Thought of getting up?

Did you ask me?

Li Feng lifted his knee and struck the spine of the Lijia State hitman, and with a crack, the Lijia State mercenary jerked like he had been electrocuted, his body losing power like air leaking from a balloon.

Thump.

The Lijia State hitman’s body slammed into the ground, his spine injured and his lower body nearly paralyzed. As the Lijia State mercenary tried to push himself up, Li Feng stepped on his head and pressed it firmly against the ground.

"Scrawny monkey, let go of Leo, or I’ll kill him."

Another assassin grabbed a bodyguard’s hair, looking at Li Feng with disbelief. He had never imagined their target this time would be so vicious.

The intelligence was definitely wrong.

Leo’s close-combat skills were quite strong; even among their hitman team, he was top-notch.

Li Feng, with his foot on the Lijia State hitman, looked up at the other assassin.

"You want this trash?"

Li Feng let out a cold laugh, "Fine, I’ll give him to you."

Li Feng said, then he lifted his foot and kicked the face of the Lijia State hitman, sending the head rotating 180 degrees with a grisly crack.

"You dare provoke me."

The assassin glared at Li Feng, ready to twist the neck of the bodyguard in his grasp,

Li Feng looked at him coldly, "You, worthy?"

The assassin felt a chill at his throat as a gush of blood spurted from his neck, his hands desperately trying to block the hole, but the blood wouldn’t stop.

Li Feng stepped forward, as the assassin’s eyes still showed a hint of disbelief.

"Curious how I killed you?"

"But you won’t get the chance to know."

Li Feng reached for the man’s head, and with a snap, twisted it violently, breaking his neck.

Thump.

The assassin collapsed.

Li Feng looked on coldly at the fallen bodyguards, as Bai He hurriedly arrived, shocked at the sight of her subordinates lying on the ground.

"Bai He, call an ambulance."

"Yes."

Bai He, hearing Li Feng’s chilly voice, knew that he was truly enraged this time and quickly dialed for emergency services.

"Mr. Feng, who are these people?" Bai He knew the capabilities of her men; these were elite forces and yet they had been decimated by just two people.

"Assassins, Blood Wolf."

On both men, a conspicuous wolf head tattoo was visible, a trademark of the infamous hitman company.

Known as the Mane Dogs of Lijia State.

Li Feng clenched his fists, good, it seemed some people had forgotten the terror of death.

Then, Li Feng’s phone rang.

He pulled out his phone, frowning as he answered.

"If you want this woman’s life, come to the cemetery alone."
