Chapter 435: Chapter 435: Clue

"These are just some underlings; they have no clue what the Zero Organization actually is. However, it’s not entirely without information—Han Xue should have been sent to Chen Muyang."

Li Feng said.

"Chen Muyang."

Upon hearing this, Zhang Wannian took a sharp intake of breath, "If Han Xue has been sent to him, could she still be alive?"

"Whether she is still alive will depend on what Chen Muyang is thinking."

"Oh?"

Li Feng didn’t explain further because before anything actually happened, all conjectures remained conjectures. "Zhang Wannian, if you want to save Han Xue, find Chen Muyang’s whereabouts, starting from the airport.

"He was previously in Country T. If he received the message and came back to the country immediately, it would have happened within these couple of days. Maybe you can find some leads from this clue."

"And you?"

Zhang Wannian looked at Li Feng, who replied, "From these people, I learned about a website, apparently set up by the Zero Organization to serve their purposes. I plan to start from there."

"Zero is tougher to deal with than Chen Muyang, and now that Chen Muyang is cooperating with Zero, without taking down Zero, there’s always the feeling of being watched from the shadows. I don’t like that feeling."

"Okay."

Zhang Wannian nodded his head. He knew Zero was hired by Chen Muyang. From several confrontations with him, there had been both wins and losses. While he would investigate Chen Muyang, if he didn’t deal with Zero, as Li Feng said, being targeted in the dark is uncomfortable.

After all, there are a thousand days to be a thief but not a thousand days to guard against one.

Just like this time, Han Xue was snatched away right under his watch.

Li Feng and Zhang Wannian split up, and instead of going home, Li Feng went straight back to the office of Myth Communication.

"You’re still here?"

"Where have you been to end up so disheveled?"

"I took a dip in the Hong River. Is there any activity online?"

"I’ve been watching with Yuqing the whole time. For now, there’s no activity. After all, most people are asleep at this time. Any news will probably come after daybreak."

Jiang Linda said and then sniffed, "You should go wash up; you reek of rotten fish."

Li Feng sniffed himself, "I don’t feel it."

Jiang Linda rolled her eyes, "That’s why they say men stink, you can’t even smell your own odor."

Li Feng shrugged his shoulders; indeed, he didn’t feel too comfortable, especially since the waters of the Hong River weren’t clear at all. Li Feng turned and headed for the restroom.

"Hey, you’re not planning on showering here, are you?"

"Otherwise?"

"Go to a hotel nearby and get a room."

"That’s too much trouble. A quick wash here will do. Oh, and by the way, go downstairs and buy me a set of clothes to change into."

Having said that, Li Feng immediately closed the door of the restroom.

"Uh!"

Jiang Linda and Su Yuqing exchanged a glance. Su Yuqing shrugged her shoulders, "It was your suggestion, you go buy them."

"Hey, don’t forget to buy men’s underwear," said Su Yuqing before quickly turning and dashing off, leaving Jiang Linda covering her forehead, "What kind of karma is this!"

Ten minutes later.

Jiang Linda came back from outside and went straight to the restroom door, knocking twice, "Hey, I bought you a towel, soap, and change of clothes. They’re in front of the door. Just take them!"

"Okay, I got it."

Jiang Linda put down the things and walked straight to the office area. After she left, Li Feng opened the restroom door and brought the items inside.

A few minutes later, Li Feng stepped out after showering.

Su Yuqing and Jiang Linda looked up, swallowing their saliva as they laid eyes on him. Jiang Linda, a bit flushed, said, "Why aren’t you wearing a shirt? Didn’t I buy you one?"

Li Feng rolled his eyes, "You did buy one, but I have to be able to fit into it, right? Did you even look at the size?"

"How am I supposed to know your size? I just picked one that seemed about right."

Jiang Linda felt somewhat embarrassed; she had never bought such intimate clothing for a man.

Li Feng hummed, "Next time if you’re not sure, just buy several sizes. Is it a matter of money?"

Jiang Linda rolled her eyes, really wanting to retort, but she had to admit the guy had a physique that was not easily noticeable—muscular abs and a well-defined V-shape. Normally she would never have noticed it.

Though not the chiseled kind, his body was well-proportioned, inviting fanciful thoughts.

"You two should go sleep on the sofa for a while. I’ll watch over things here."

"Okay."

Su Yuqing stood up, finding it too embarrassing to be in the same room with a half-naked guy: "Bye then."

Li Feng ignored the exchange of glances between the two women and sat down in front of the computer. He entered the URL the old Ghost had given him, and a webpage appeared.

The page was very plain, almost like a blank sheet with only one box in the center, presumably for entering a username and password.

Li Feng downloaded some hacking tools and began cracking the webpage. It was not well-protected and was easily hacked by Li Feng. After gaining partial control, he entered the interface.

Li Feng took a quick glance. The interface resembled a chat room, including a task hall—same old simplicity with not many features.

Very clean.

The adversary was cautious, leaving no traceable leads. This Zero was indeed cunning. But Li Feng confirmed that Zero was unquestionably a master hacker.

Li Feng left a trace on the website, ensuring automatic tracking if the chat room was reactivated.

He then instructed Azure Dragon to keep an eye out for information related to Century Group and Chen Qinian online before getting up from the computer.

Unexpectedly, he had been outmaneuvered this time.

With Han Xue captured, it was undoubtedly terrible news for Li Feng. With her in Chen Muyang’s hands, the enemy now had many more cards to play.

It was just unclear how Chen Muyang would choose.

"Ugh."

The mask on Han Xue’s head was removed, and after adjusting to the light, she looked up to see a man in a wheelchair. It was none other than Chen Muyang, who had been to Country T.

"Meeting me, aren’t you surprised, caught off guard?"

"Mmm, mmm."

Han Xue struggled desperately, seeking to break free.

"Don’t be so hasty, be careful not to harm the child in your belly."

Seeing Chen Muyang, whose voice carried a soft sinister tone, fear shone in Han Xue’s eyes. Remembering Chen Muyang’s past deeds, she shuddered. In his clutches, could her child remain unharmed?

Chen Muyang stretched out his hand to tear off the tape sealing Han Xue’s mouth, and she instantly cried, "Chen Muyang, please spare my child. Please, you can do whatever you want."
