Li Feng walked down the stairs, Zhang Wannian had already subdued the subordinates of Chen Muyang within the villa. Seeing Li Feng, Zhang Wannian looked at him questioningly.

"Let’s deal with the trouble outside first."

Li Feng opened the villa door, only to see that the battle in the courtyard was almost one-sided. The bodyguards still had a slight advantage with two or three people, but most were being overwhelmed by the assassins.

"Which side should we help?"

Zhang Wannian looked towards Li Feng.

"Neither."

After saying this, Li Feng, with a flick of his toe, charged into the yard like a tiger out of its cage, immediately drawing the attention of several assassins who bypassed the fallen bodyguards and rushed straight towards him.

Li Feng gave a cold sneer, then swiftly stepped again, lunging forward with a punch like a cannonball at an assassin facing him. The assassin had just reversed the grip on his knife, intending to draw blood from Li Feng, but the speed of Li Feng’s attack was unexpectedly fast, so fast that the assassin couldn’t even swing his knife before Li Feng’s punch solidly smashed into his nasal bone.

The punch flattened the assassin’s nasal bone instantly, launching him off the ground and flying backward, his nose bleeding like a jet of blood soaring into the sky.

Having successfully taken down his opponent, Li Feng steadied himself only to find two assassins on either side, flipping their daggers with cold determination and lunging at him.

Caught in a pincer attack, clearly unable to cover both front and back, nor left and right, Li Feng suddenly spun around to face one attacker, exposing his back to the other.

Seeing Li Feng turn his back like that, the assassin’s eyes flickered coldly, not giving Li Feng any respite, he flipped his knife and thrust straight towards Li Feng’s back.

Li Feng, using a capturing technique, snapped the wrist of the assailant in front of him; the audible crack as the bones misaligned caused the dagger to drop to the ground. Li Feng then reached out and grabbed the assassin’s neck, exerting a pinch-like grip that knocked the wind out of the assassin’s neck, rendering him unconscious.

As the assassin behind him saw his colleague fall so quickly, Zhang Wannian timely arrived with a flying kick. Like a cannonball, the assassin was kicked up and smashed harshly against an armored car, the impact echoing loudly.

Li Feng, followed closely by Zhang Wannian, brutally overpowered everyone in the yard. The only ones left standing other than themselves were Cheng Hu.

"What’s your real intent for coming to the villa?" Cheng Hu, clenching his fists tight, watched Li Feng and Zhang Wannian, who had swept through the yard like a thunderstorm, looking somewhat nervous yet formidable.

Their combination and skills were too strong, like a hurricane with no adversary matching even a single move. An assassin that Cheng Hu fought, and who wasn’t weak, proved challenging to him; yet Li Feng had brought him down with a kick to the thigh.

Now that assassin was lying on the ground, utterly unable to rise.

At this moment, Han Xue stood on the second-floor balcony looking down into the yard: "Li Feng, old Chen asked you to come up."

"I understand."

After responding, Li Feng raised his eyes to Cheng Hu, "Want to find out? Just come upstairs." Li Feng then walked past Cheng Hu.

This man indeed had some capabilities; his previous setup for the villa’s security had given Li Feng quite a bit of trouble.

With a frown, Cheng Hu watched Li Feng walking towards the villa and stepped forward to follow, curious about what was going on.

"Chairman Chen, do you have any instructions?"

As Li Feng entered the bedroom and looked toward Chen Qinian, who was sitting up, Cheng Hu, following behind Li Feng, let out a startled exclamation.

"Isn’t the chairman supposed to be in a coma from a cerebral infarction? What’s going on?"

Cheng Hu couldn’t suppress his astonishment. He had been guarding the villa for nearly half a month and had heard from the accompanying doctors and nurses about Chen Qinian’s condition—that even if he recovered, he would be half-paralyzed.

"Are you the bodyguard my son hired?"

Chen Qinian looked towards Cheng Hu.

"Yes!" Cheng Hu nodded repeatedly.

"Then, are you here to protect me or harm me?" Chen Qinian looked at Cheng Hu, who was surprised for a moment. "Chairman Chen, what do you mean by that? At Divine Shield Security, our purpose is to protect our employers. How could we possibly harm you?"

Chen Qinian turned to the white-coated figure: "He’s also the family doctor my son hired to take care of me. He just tried to kill me."

"Ah!"

Cheng Hu’s burly body also shook, sweat beading on his forehead: "Chairman Chen, I didn’t know about this. Our commission was simply to secure the villa and prevent outsiders from entering."

Damn, it seems I’ve gotten myself tangled in a family feud.

"Li Feng, what do you think?"

Chen Qinian suddenly turned to Li Feng and asked for his opinion.

Li Feng looked up at Chen Qinian: "He probably didn’t know. It was just a simple employment relationship. If Chairman Chen is willing to hire him, I think they will obey Chairman Chen and do their utmost to protect you."

"Is that so?"

Chen Qinian looked up at Cheng Hu: "You represent Divine Shield Security, and now I want to hire you. Do you accept?"

Cheng Hu took a deep breath, stepped forward, and nodded: "I represent Divine Shield Security in accepting this commission. I will immediately have our company send personnel. I absolutely won’t let the chairman suffer any harm."

"Go ahead!" Chen Qinian waved his hand, and Cheng Hu turned around, his gaze complex as he looked at Li Feng: "Thanks cannot express my gratitude."

"Li Feng, you mentioned earlier that you are from Myth Communication. As the chairman of Century Group, I now formally wish to cooperate with your company."

Li Feng looked at Chen Qinian: "Century Group wants to cooperate, which is something I would certainly welcome."

"Good, I will have my lawyer prepare the contract later. However, tonight I am holding a reception at a hotel owned by Century Group. You will be in charge of this event. As for the invitees, my wife Han Xue will handle that."

"Is that okay?"

Li Feng roughly knew what Chen Qinian planned, and he took the opportunity, while he was still clear-headed, to deal with the matters behind the scenes. This reception was likely meant to witness a decision Chen Qinian was going to announce.

Afterward, Li Feng found a wheelchair, placed Chen Qinian in it, and took him directly out of the villa.

He escorted Chen Qinian to the Century Hotel and checked him into the hotel. Li Feng asked Zhang Wannian to stay close to Han Xue, then stepped out of the suite, picked up his phone, and dialed a number.

"Hello."

Listening to the female voice on the phone, Li Feng said: "Secretary Jiang, had enough fun?"

Upon hearing Li Feng’s words, Jiang Linda was frustrated: "Just speak if you have something to say. No need to beat around the bush."

"Give you two hours to get to the Century Grand Hotel."

"One hour to get to the Century Grand Hotel. What for?"

Li Feng ended the call right there.

Jiang Linda, who had been in the midst of a spa treatment, was nearly driven insane. What did he mean, ’get to the Century Grand Hotel within an hour to deal with an emergency’?
