Chapter 359: Wolf Ladder Paving the Way
Chapter 359: Chapter 359: Wolf Ladder Paving the Way
Duel Arena.
Seeing Li Feng charging forward, the War Wolf ducked its body and let out a series of fierce roars, its oily green eyes shining with a menacing light.
As Li Feng closed in, the War Wolf launched an attack.
A critical moment.
Li Feng twisted his body, drawing an S-shaped curve with Cobra-like agility. He dodged the War Wolf’s attack and swiftly broke through the blockade as if he were entering an uninhabited territory.
A second later, Li Feng appeared in front of the Wolf King.
This Wolf King was significantly larger than the other Wild Wolves, resembling a small calf in stature, and a claw mark on its wolf head made it look even more ferocious. Upon seeing Li Feng break through its subordinates and appear before it, the Wolf King lifted its deep, unwavering wolf eyes.
The claw smashed directly onto Sanggu’s head, shattering the human skull—which was supposed to be the hardest part of the body.
Roar.
The Wolf King’s bloodied mouth emitted bursts of roars.
"Gurgle."
"This Wolf King is too twisted, it just smashed a person’s head with one slap."
Several young masters turned their heads and retched, the scene was extremely unsettling.
Li Feng stood in front of the Wolf King and responded with a low growl, direct and confrontational. The Wolf King was taken aback, not expecting Li Feng to be fearless and even dare to challenge it.
The Wolf King howled twice, and surprisingly, the wolves that were about to pounce all halted, retreating in unison. The Wolf King raised its arrogant claw, its oily green eyes fixed on the man exuding a powerful murderous aura.
"What’s happening?"
"Is this a one-on-one challenge?"
"It seems so, but why are they not attacking together?"
The Wolf King’s four claws gripped the ground, then it sprang towards Li Feng bloodthirstily.
Instead of retreating, Li Feng advanced, clashing head-on with the Wolf King, who swung its frosty claws fiercely. Li Feng’s eyes narrowed, waiting for this leap.
At the critical moment, a Surgical Knife flew out from between Li Feng’s fingers like lightning. The Wolf King, still in mid-air, couldn’t dodge. After throwing the knife, Li Feng fell back and slid directly under the Wolf King.
The Wolf King’s injured eye let out a series of low growls, then twisted around and lunged at Li Feng again.
Li Feng got up from the ground without pausing, his body swaying left and right like a ghost, moving fast like a Cobra.
With one eye injured, the Wolf King couldn’t see Li Feng during the close encounter. Li Feng instantly moved into the wolf’s blind spot. Instinctively, the Wolf King turned and swung its claws, but the moment it did so, Li Feng made a quick stop and turned back around.
The Wolf King’s attack missed again. Li Feng took advantage, closing in directly under the wolf, and without a word, delivered a sharp elbow strike.
A crack sounded; the Wolf King’s spine emitted a noise of dislocation.
The saying goes that wolves have a ’copper head, iron claws, and tofu waist,’ meaning the weakest part of a wolf is its waist.
Ow-ow.
Hit successfully, the Wolf King let out two pitiful howls. With its spine damaged, the Wolf King could no longer turn around. Li Feng directly mounted the wolf’s back, leaned down, and locked its throat.
The Wolf King couldn’t break free and was strangled to death by Li Feng riding on its back.
"Gurgle."
"Is this still a human?"
"Can’t believe it, he turned the tables again? Are the other wolves stupid, why don’t you attack together?"
"Exactly, your leader has been taken down, and you’re still standing there dazed?"
"Bite him to death! My ten million!"
Li Feng released the dying Wolf King and grabbed a handful of blood from the wolf’s bleeding eye, then smeared it across his cheeks.
The next second, Li Feng threw back his head and let out a wolf-like howl.
The howl was eerily similar to that of a real wolf.
Around him, the wolf pack, upon hearing Li Feng’s howl, all sat down and then began to howl up at the sky, seemingly welcoming their new king.
"What’s going on?"
"What are these wolves howling for?"
Li Feng’s gaze swept towards Bai Haoyu’s VIP box, his mouth curling into a smirk. No one understood the wolf pack better than he did, for he had danced with wolves.
In the next second, Li Feng let out a series of wolf howls, and the wolves around him, as if understanding his commands, changed direction and ran straight towards the wall ahead.
"Have these wolves gone mad?"
"What are they trying to do?"
Many watched as the wolves reached the base of the wall and then started to form a "wolf ladder". The Wild Wolves, with their large bulk, stretched at least one and a half meters each, and as they piled up layer by layer, a wolf ladder over two zhang high formed in front of Li Feng.
Even a War Wolf recklessly threw itself onto the wall, its body impaled by the inverted blades, blood flowing liberally.
The nature of wolves.
Li Feng strode forward, stepping onto the constructed wolf ladder and leapt up the nearly ten-meter, seemingly insurmountable wall.
As Li Feng landed on the wall’s edge, those young masters standing in the front row instinctively drew back three feet, the stench of blood emanating from him sending chills down their spines.
Especially since he could command a wolf pack to form a ladder out of their own bodies and leap out of the Duel Arena—who the heck was this guy?
Li Feng, as if no one else existed, passed through the cleared path and leaped onto the balcony of the box, his gaze sweeping over a slightly tense Bai Haoyu.
Dong Xin watched this man who always surprised her; her heart couldn’t help but flutter wildly. He was simply too handsome.
Dong Xin wasn’t one of those starry-eyed teenage girls, but the scene she just witnessed still left her somewhat spellbound.
"Li Feng, for my sake, please don’t hurt him."
Dong Xin bit her lip as she spoke to Li Feng.
Li Feng glanced at Bai Haoyu and then sprawled boldly on the sofa, looking at Dong Xin and patting his thigh.
Dong Xin, pouting her lips, still couldn’t help but sit on Li Feng’s thigh.
"Please, would you?" Dong Xin wrapped her arms around Li Feng’s neck, pleading on behalf of her brother-in-law, Bai Haoyu.
Standing aside, Bai Haoyu watched this display and Dong Xin’s coquettish begging, feeling a burning jealousy inside.
"Big sister, I don’t need you to plead for me. What could he possibly do to me?"
Bai Haoyu stiffened his neck, unwilling to show any sign of submission. This was his final act of defiance, for if he backed down now, he would never respect himself again.
Li Feng, lounging on the sofa, held Dong Xin’s graceful body.
"Hmm, Bai Family from the powerful Eight Families, Linxi, you do have some arrogance to spare."
"You better know it."
Bai Haoyu arrogantly lifted his head, "Let go of my sister-in-law. Today, you’re lucky. Since heaven hasn’t taken you yet, I’ll spare you this once."
"Bai Haoyu."
Dong Xin couldn’t believe her brother-in-law could still be so proud and pompous at a time like this. Wasn’t he just asking for trouble?
