Chapter 334: Chapter 334 Jump into the Sea
"You’re lying!"
Wen Xiaofei looked at Li Feng. She wanted to scoop some news, but clearly, Li Feng was not playing by the usual rules. For a moment, Wen Xiaofei couldn’t tell whether Li Feng was telling the truth or lying.
The women behind Wen Xiaofei, seeking "justice," also seemed bewildered. None of them wanted to believe Li Feng’s showdown.
They had just escaped the wolf’s den, only to be told that they had entered the tiger’s lair—was this not a threat to their lives?
A few women regretted their impulsiveness earlier, but some clearly refused to believe, "You’re just a police officer, don’t think you can scare us by saying that."
"Right, you’re just trying to scare us intentionally."
"Shameless, how can you do this, scaring us weak women; do you feel accomplished, scumbag?"
"I’ll remember you. I will definitely make a complaint when I go back."
"That’s right."
Li Feng glanced at these women who still thought they were right. Who spoiled them like this? They were as meek as a cat in front of villains, allowing themselves to be bullied, yet they stood on the highest moral ground and recklessly condemned good people.
Li Feng thought of his ex-wife, Zhang Xue; she was just like this, always believing she was right.
It’s a habit nurtured by indulgence.
Li Feng drew his gun and fired two shots into the sky, then coldly looked at the women who were scared speechless, a sneer forming on his lips.
"Sometimes, I really don’t understand what gives you the courage."
Li Feng stepped forward, disdainfully looking at Wen Xiaofei, who had stepped out to maintain "justice."
"What are you trying to do!"
Wen Xiaofei’s face reddened slightly, warily watching Li Feng.
Li Feng smiled, lifting Wen Xiaofei’s chin with his hand, "That’s what I should be asking you."
"What do you want to do?"
"Oh, right, you just said you’re a reporter. You dared to risk your safety, isn’t it just for a big story? How about this exclusive, is it enough?"
Li Feng looked at Wen Xiaofei with an amused expression.
Wen Xiaofei broke free from Li Feng’s grasp and took a step back, biting her lips and looking at him, "You’re supposed to be a policeman. How can you treat us like this? Aren’t you afraid of complaints?"
"I just told you, I’m not."
"You were questioning my identity earlier, now you’re sure about it. Indeed, you’re used to playing with words. With a single touch of the lips, whatever you say seems right."
"I’m starting to like you a bit."
Li Feng narrowed his eyes, scanning Wen Xiaofei’s chest. Discovering the focus of his gaze, she quickly covered her front, her heartbeat inexplicably quickening.
"Is this what they call playing hard to get?"
Li Feng stared as Wen Xiaofei protected herself, which not only failed to cover the key parts but also made it more tempting. Li Feng reached out and grabbed Wen Xiaofei’s arm.
Wen Xiaofei’s wrist tingled, her body softened, and as her dilapidated coat revealed much of her flesh, Li Feng glanced at it and tore off the coat.
Rip.
Wen Xiaofei screamed.
"Undercover uncle, could he really be a bad guy?" Even Beicheng Xue, who had wanted to speak up for Li Feng, was dumbfounded. After all, Li Feng’s action seemed genuinely villainous.
Tian Mengmeng’s face turned pale, "We were actually living with him." Tian Mengmeng was somewhat frightened; if he had decided to do something evil earlier, they would have stood no chance against him.
Li Feng scoffed coldly, walked forward, and hoisted the screaming Wen Xiaofei onto his shoulder. Wen Xiaofei felt like her soul was about to fly away as she desperately struggled.
"Let me go, let go of me."
"I was wrong, I was really wrong, please let me go."
Wen Xiaofei was on the verge of tears, questioning why she had to stand out, why provoke this herald of doom. Had her mind turned to mush just moments ago?
Li Feng ignored Wen Xiaofei’s struggles and turned to look at the women who had just stepped forward to demand "justice."
"Anyone else who disagrees, I welcome you to come and find me any time, I will make you thoroughly convinced."
"Now, all of you go back to your own containers."
With Wen Xiaofei as an example, no other women dared to stir trouble and obediently returned to their containers.
The man in camo stood aside, stunned, "Truly worthy of the Young Master, such badass. If it were me, I wouldn’t even know how to deal with it."
He wasn’t just flattering. Facing a hundred enemies, he wouldn’t even frown, but confronting a hundred beauties was beyond what he could bear in this lifetime.
"Young Master, I’ll go check if those guys are slacking off."
With that, the man in camo turned and ran several meters away.
Seeing the man in camo leave, Wen Xiaofei despaired, wondering if she was doomed to lose her virtue that day.
Li Feng rolled his eyes, carried Wen Xiaofei out of the container area to the side of the ship, and then set her down from his shoulders.
Wen Xiaofei leaned against the crate behind her, biting her lips and glaring at Li Feng, "Don’t come any closer, I won’t let you succeed."
Li Feng looked at Wen Xiaofei, still stubborn despite the situation.
"Ha, now you have two choices, one, obediently submit to me, the other, jump down from here."
Li Feng intended to teach this woman a lesson, otherwise she wouldn’t understand what reverence meant.
"Which one do you choose?"
Li Feng reached out to touch Wen Xiaofei, but she slapped his hand away, "Even if I die, I won’t make it easy for you."
Wen Xiaofei turned and dashed towards the ship’s rail, diving headfirst into it.
Splash.
Li Feng hadn’t expected this woman to be so tough, actually daring to jump, he took off his jacket, stepped on the ship’s rail, and dove into the sea after her.
"Wow, seems like you’re having a blast, ships can’t even satisfy you anymore, huh? Shooting sea flares?"
"Should we just watch, watch, or watch?"
Li Feng plunged into the sea, turned around, and saw Wen Xiaofei sinking, he immediately swam towards her.
It had to be said, this sharp-tongued female journalist was quite attractive, Li Feng went up and grabbed her wrist, Wen Xiaofei opened her eyes to see Li Feng and began to struggle.
Li Feng wrapped his arms around her and kissed her on the lips, Wen Xiaofei’s eyes widened in shock at the rogue kissing her, her body weak, her consciousness gradually blurring.
Bastard.
Even if I jumped into the sea, you wouldn’t let go of me. Even if I die and turn into a ghost, I won’t let you go.
Li Feng pulled Wen Xiaofei up to the surface, called for a lifeboat to be dropped down, then pushed Wen Xiaofei onto the lifeboat.
He climbed aboard, checked her breath, then put his hands together and pressed on her heart while performing CPR.
Cough, cough.
Wen Xiaofei’s consciousness returned, she slowly opened her eyes to a sky of blue and white clouds, "Am I in heaven?"
"You can’t reach heaven, even if dead, you’d be in Hell."
"What, where are you touching?"
