Chapter 305: Chapter 305: Don’t Take Yourself Too Seriously
"Ten million is not enough."
Originally, Dong Xin had some fondness for Li Feng, but now her heart had changed, and when she looked at Li Feng, her eyes carried a hint of coldness.
"Ten million is not enough, how much will it take to satisfy your appetite?"
Suppressing her anger, Dong Xin walked up to Li Feng, her gaze cold as she stared at him, "I really want to know how much my goodwill is worth to you."
Wu Yi’s eyes lit up when he heard Dong Xin’s icy words.
Ha-ha, this underground fighter really has no brains, if he didn’t talk about money, this matter wouldn’t be easy to handle. As soon as he starts to negotiate the price, the nature of the issue changes.
He understood Dong Xin.
Dong Xin was a strong, mature, and somewhat domineering woman. She was always cautious with her emotions, never giving them away lightly. Today’s incident, where Dong Xin obviously protected Li Feng, could indeed indicate genuine affection, but to say that Dong Xin was hopelessly smitten, that he was the only one for her?
Heh, that would be a joke.
She was not a naive little girl to be easily fooled.
Wu Yi threw money around as a tactic, but if Li Feng continued on this topic, he would certainly provoke Dong Xin’s disgust. After all, at their level, money was truly insignificant; the least valuable thing was money itself.
"One billion."
"Or ten billion!"
"Speak up."
Dong Xin stared at Li Feng, and Li Feng looked back at Dong Xin, suddenly smiling slightly, "Am I your plaything?"
"Huh? What do you mean by that?"
Li Feng gave Dong Xin a cold look and suddenly turned around, "It means nothing, I just suddenly find it meaningless. I don’t want to play with you anymore."
Li Feng waved his hand and walked straight out.
"Thinking of leaving? Who gave you permission to go? Explain yourself clearly."
Li Feng hadn’t taken two steps before several men blocked his path, clearly disregarding Li Feng’s status as an underground fighter.
They were noble, and he was just an underground fighter, nothing more than an ant to them.
Li Feng looked at the people blocking his way and spat out a word.
"Scram!"
"Who are you telling to scram, kid?"
The man who was told to scram by Li Feng directly, his face darkened. Who do you think you are to talk to me like that, and he threw a punch right away.
With a sneer, Li Feng caught the man’s middle finger and twisted it upwards.
"Ah!"
The man only felt an intense, penetrating pain, and now he understood why Zhang Tie had kneeled before, to get some relief, he had to bend his knees and kneel.
But he wasn’t as tough as Zhang Tie to endure the pain of a broken finger.
"You dare fight back."
Others saw Li Feng strike their companion, and filled with common enmity, Li Feng kicked the man in front of him in the shin, and the man fell to his knees with a thud.
Li Feng twisted around, catching a punch from the side, flicked his wrist with a snap, dislocating the attacker’s wrist, and then flipped the man over his shoulder with a twist.
Li Feng dispatched the several people blocking the way in a matter of seconds, and they rolled on the ground, wailing pitifully.
"You underground fighter still dare to be so arrogant."
Instead of being deterred by Li Feng’s actions, the people from the Boxing Club surrounded him even more.
"Kill the bastard."
Li Feng exhaled. He really didn’t understand what was going on in these people’s heads. Perhaps this was just a psychological advantage.
They thought they were high and mighty. Li Feng was a street fighter, so they believed they could crush him. It was unscientific, but these people felt that way subconsciously, just like the few sprawled at Li Feng’s feet.
They most likely thought Li Feng wouldn’t dare to fight back.
It seemed necessary to teach these people a lesson.
Li Feng immediately charged into the crowd like a tiger among sheep. These guys looked like they were practicing combat sports and Sanda, but in reality, it was all for show. They weren’t here to train.
At the Boxing Club, their focus was on networking with the Club’s people, not Dong Xin herself. For them, this circle and the connections it offered were what truly mattered.
So, fighting these people, even though they were many, didn’t put any pressure on Li Feng. It was even easier than dealing with street thugs.
At least the street thugs were vicious. These people, apart from their psychological superiority and invincible spirit, were nothing.
In a matter of minutes,
The Boxing Club’s floor was littered with bodies, and Li Feng hadn’t even broken a sweat, breathing calmly and steadily.
Li Feng stepped on someone’s back and looked up at Wu Yi.
"Coming to fight, young master Wu?"
Li Feng’s tone was laced with a hint of scorn and mockery as Wu Yi’s face turned ashen at Li Feng’s taunt.
"If you’re not coming, then I’ll be leaving. Pretending to be brave but too scared to act, how pathetic."
Li Feng, hands in his pockets, turned and walked away. Wu Yi clenched his fists and strode towards Li Feng, "Let’s go."
Li Feng turned to face Wu Yi, who had already charged up close, dodging Wu Yi’s punch with a tilt of his head.
Wu Yi brushed past Li Feng, then in the next second, came to a sharp stop, using the momentum to twist his waist and deliver a spinning side kick aimed at Li Feng’s head.
Wu Yi’s sweeping kick was powerful, but Li Feng calmly raised his hand to block it, catching Wu Yi’s lower leg.
Li Feng looked up with a disdainful gaze at Wu Yi, "Did you just call me an ant?"
"You might not know that an ant can carry a hundred times its own weight, and when that ant is the same size as you."
"You’re nothing."
With a grip of his fingers, Wu Yi felt a searing pain and numbness in his leg. The next second, Li Feng let go and threw a side kick right into Wu Yi’s abdomen.
Wu Yi flew, his lower body lifted off the ground, crashing down onto the floor like a frog, with a satisfying thud.
"You."
Dong Xin watched Li Feng knock Wu Yi to the ground, biting her lip while looking at Li Feng. Li Feng turned his head and glanced at Dong Xin with her graceful figure.
"What’s with you? Do you think just because you fancy me, I should love you back? Who gave you that confidence?"
"Though you’re pretty and your figure is quite desirable, and it seems you come from a good family background."
"But to me, you’re worthless."
After his cold words, Li Feng swiftly turned, stepped over Wu Yi, and left.
Watching Li Feng walk away, Dong Xin trembled slightly, biting her cherry lips, "Li Feng, stop right there."
Li Feng didn’t pause for an instant, heading straight out of the Boxing Club. He looked back once.
Worthless.
Li Feng stepped into his car and drove off. Not long after, a call came in.
"The usual place."
"Alright, I’m on my way."
Li Feng hung up the phone, turned the steering wheel with a flick, and changed direction.
