Jiang Nan raised the corner of her lips and took a step forward, throwing an elbow attack. Li Feng retreated half a step as Jiang Nan delivered a swift side kick to his calf.

The fierce onslaught came wave after wave as if they had old grudges, showing no mercy at all.

"Ouch, where are you kicking?"

Li Feng caught an infertility kick between his legs, looking up at Jiang Nan, "We’re just practicing. Don’t go for the vital parts."

"Sorry, got carried away, it’s a habit. Let go and let’s continue."

Li Feng released his legs, and a sly glint flashed through Jiang Nan’s eyes as she pressed forward with the Bone-locking Skill.

Li Feng felt the pressure from Jiang Nan as if Taishan Mountain was bearing down on him. Hesitating for a moment, Jiang Nan wrapped her arms around Li Feng’s waist, twisted, and the two of them tumbled onto the bed.

"Hmph, the Kung Fu I’ve practiced over these years wasn’t for nothing. Handling a little fry like you is a piece of cake. Do you submit?"

Jiang Nan wrapped her arms around Li Feng’s head and her legs around his waist, arrogantly challenging him.

Li Feng’s head was locked in Jiang Nan’s elbow, and he couldn’t tell if it was uncomfortable or comforting.

Noticing Li Feng wasn’t responding, Jiang Nan let him go and saw that his eyes were closed. She worried she had gotten too excited and hit too hard. Feeling slightly embarrassed, she quickly reached out to check his breathing.

Li Feng suddenly opened his eyes, grabbed Jiang Nan’s wrist, and with a movement of his waist, he flipped her over beneath him.

Jiang Nan, pinned down by Li Feng, looked up discontentedly, "You cheater."

Li Feng replied, "All is fair in love and war. I believe you’ve said that to me more than anything else."

Jiang Nan pouted, reminiscing about their pure friendship during their school days. Lying beneath Li Feng, she relaxed her body.

"Come on, then."

Li Feng looked at Jiang Nan as she opened her arms, an invitation for him to do as he pleased. His heart pounded, not from lack of self-control, but because the opponent was too tempting.

Li Feng in a sexy leather outfit, along with those lips biting into her cheeks, were enough to stir anyone’s desire. The tomboy from those days had transformed amazingly, every glance and gesture provoking men’s hearts.

Li Feng rolled over and laid beside her, "Don’t tempt me. I can’t handle your temptation, and if I really took you, we couldn’t even be friends anymore."

Jiang Nan turned her head to look at Li Feng lying beside her, scoffed, and said, "I knew you wouldn’t dare. You have the desire, but not the courage, and that hasn’t changed at all."

Li Feng didn’t refute as Jiang Nan continued, "Why didn’t you contact me after you transferred schools? Did you ever consider me a buddy? I was so worried about you, yet you vanished without a trace."

"Can we not talk about this?"

Jiang Nan pouted, "Fine, if you don’t want to talk about it, I won’t ask. But when you’re ready to share, you must tell me. I’m still your buddy."

"Oh, by the way, what are you doing now? Are you here in Jin City for work or planning to come back?"

Li Feng turned to Jiang Nan.

"I’m not working on anything specific right now. I’m here to attend a birthday banquet, and I might have to go back to Huacheng in a few days."

"So, you’re only staying for a few days." Jiang Nan pouted, clearly unhappy, "Well, since you’re here in Jin City for these few days, I, as the host, will have to do my duty. You can’t refuse me."

"Okay."

Jiang Nan chuckled, "Then I’ll be planning for you."

"I’ll listen to whatever you say." Li Feng, looking at his cheerful friend from his school days, felt the gloom in his heart lighten. Maybe those years in Jin City weren’t so empty after all.

Jiang Nan nodded vigorously, jumped off the bed, stood up, and turned to Li Feng, "You said it, get dressed right now."

"Let’s grab some skewers and beer at the food stall."
