Chapter 27: Chapter 27 Jiang Nan

Li Feng ignored Zhang Xue and, turning, dominantly wrapped his arm around Wang Jin’er’s waist.

"Hmm."

Caught off guard, Wang Jin’er twisted trying to break free, but when Li Feng exerted his strength, Wang Jin’er was pressed tightly against him. Shen Yanran stepped forward to stop Li Feng’s bad behavior, but Li Feng looked at her coldly, causing her to shiver.

Li Feng, with Wang Jin’er in tow, left in long strides.

Zhang Xue watched Li Feng leave with Wang Jin’er in his arms and felt an inexplicable rage burning inside her. She felt deceived.

Previously at the Qingcheng Building, Li Feng pulled out five billion, which Zhang Xue naturally didn’t believe. She had specifically inquired about Wang Qian, who was nothing more than a money lender. It was very possible that the sum of money was a tactic the Wei Family used to devour Qingcheng.

But now, Li Feng actually produced a black gold five-star card, something no one could simply wish to possess. Could it be that Li Feng was really wealthy?

Zhang Xue couldn’t accept this fact. The once utterly subservient bootlicker seemed to be someone she didn’t understand at all.

Wang Jin’er was escorted out of the restaurant by Li Feng, and before she could struggle free, Li Feng let go and turned to her. "If you didn’t eat well, I’ll have someone make a new dish and send it to your room. Let’s call it a night."

Li Feng said his piece and ignored Wang Jin’er’s thoughts, heading towards the elevator and back to his room, where he took a shower. No sooner had he come out of the bathroom when the room phone started ringing.

"Sir, do you require special services?"

Li Feng was momentarily startled.

"No need."

Li Feng hung up the phone, but in a few seconds, it rang again. A sultry voice came through, "Sir, are you sure you don’t need it? The night is long, and someone is already outside your door. Why don’t you have a look before deciding?"

Listening to the sweet, sticky voice, he felt a wave of goosebumps and frowned. Someone was playing a prank on him. With a smirk, Li Feng decided to see for himself.

He reached out and opened the door, and the person outside immediately jumped in front of him, lunging at Li Feng.

"Surprise!"

Li Feng instinctively stepped back, blocking the woman who threw herself at him with his hand, which landed right on her front.

Li Feng’s gaze traveled upward, glancing over her face—a delicate melon-seed face that wasn’t seductive but rather had a hint of refreshing heroism between the delicately arched brows, clad in a black tight leather outfit with a jacket on top.

Her stunning figure was explosively attractive, triggering an itch in a spectator’s nose so intense it could cause a nosebleed.

"Are you not letting go?"

A blush appeared on the woman’s face as she looked up and admonished Li Feng.

Li Feng tilted his head, observing the intimately behaved woman who acted as if they were well-acquainted, but he couldn’t place her.

"Who are you!"

"Hmmph, heartless indeed. Back in the day, we were sworn buddies, partners in crime. Only a few years have passed, and you’ve completely forgotten me. Men really are pigs."

Li Feng swallowed hard, looking at her. "Jiang Nan?"

"Is it that I’m too beautiful now, you don’t dare recognize me?"

Jiang Nan turned slightly, her hand playing with her ear-length hair, revealing a long, snow-white neck, which caused Li Feng to gulp.

During middle school, she was Li Feng’s deskmate, but back then, Jiang Nan was a classic tomboy, rough and tumble, spending her days with arms over shoulder with Li Feng, calling each other brothers. At the time, she seemed to have a crew cut and never considered herself a girl.

It’s no wonder Li Feng couldn’t recognize her; the transformation was as drastic as Monkey King’s seventy-two changes.

"You still haven’t recognized me?"

Jiang Nan pouted and walked into the room, directly diving onto the big bed. Li Feng watched his hot-bodied buddy and touched his nose.

Jiang Nan rolled over and, propped on her side, squinted at Li Feng, teasingly said, "Li Feng, you’re not bleeding from the nose, are you?"

"I treated you like a brother, and you dare lust after me."

Li Feng almost choked on his own saliva, his gaze lingering on the provocatively dressed Jiang Nan. Such an outfit wasn’t for everyone; if you were a bit chubby, you couldn’t fit into it, and if you were too thin, it would hang loose. It was safe to say only confident beauties would dare wear it.

"How did you know I was here?"

Li Feng quickly changed the subject, looking at his buddy who still had the heart of a man despite her feminine appearance.

"Hey, I followed you here all the way from the International Trade Mido Diner."

"Dude, you’re pretty arrogant, having a black gold five-star card."

"You saw me earlier, yet you didn’t call out to me."

Li Feng looked at Jiang Nan, lying on the bed.

Jiang Nan did a kip up from the bed and stood, "Hmph, I did want to, but someone was hugging a beautiful woman and heading straight for the hotel. If I popped up, wouldn’t I be the third wheel?"

"You didn’t want to be the third wheel, so why did you come up?"

"Because I found out someone is a jerk, just dumped the beautiful lady and ran off."

"Li Feng, you jerk, prepare to die!"

"Uh." Li Feng watched Jiang Nan get into a stance and couldn’t help recalling back in school when he teased Jiang Nan for being manly, and she relentlessly challenged him to a duel.

Their friendship was one that was "fought" out, but he never expected that, after all these years, she would turn into a beautiful woman while still having that manly attitude, ready to fight at any disagreement.

Jiang Nan snorted and said, "Li Feng, the grudge of you rubbing me into the ground that year, I’ve remembered it for many years. Today is the day for this lady to exact her revenge. Take this!"
