Urban's Fury: The War Dragon God
Chapter 252: Being Unreasonable, Right?

Chapter 252: Chapter 252: Being Unreasonable, Right?

Jiang Yu, feeling an affront to his dignity especially in the presence of Wang Zhi, felt compelled to act tough. Couldn’t let himself be seen as weak, could he?

Jiang Yu sneered coldly and, without another word, stepped forward and threw a punch at the face.

Wang Zhi sat on the sofa watching Jiang Yu strike, her eyes twinkling. She had found herself a new boyfriend who was not only capable but also in good physical shape - even a member of a boxing gym, an amateur boxer at that.

Thinking of his eight-pack abs and strong arms, Wang Zhi licked her lips.

Now, this was going to be entertaining.

While Wang Zhi entertained delightful thoughts, Jiang Yu’s fist was still a good palm’s distance from Li Feng when Li Feng blocked it with his hand.

"Ha,"

Li Feng sneered contemptuously and looked at the somewhat shocked Jiang Yu as if he were looking at an ant. "Idiot."

Li Feng took a step forward and bumped his shoulder right into Jiang Yu’s chest.

Jiang Yu staggered backwards three steps and then toppled over onto the ground.

His face beet red, Jiang Yu reached out a hand to prop himself up, intending to fight again, but before he could steady himself, Li Feng was already kicking him squarely in the chest.

Jiang Yu flew backward like a kite with its string cut.

Wang Zhi, originally eager for a spectacle, suddenly stood up, "Li Feng, how dare you hit my boyfriend!"

With that, she bypassed the coffee table and rushed up to Li Feng, slapping him across the face.

In Wang Zhi’s view, though Li Feng was associated with the Jin City Lis, he was just an illegitimate son who had lived outside most of his life. If not for the arranged marriage to integrate someone into the Wang family to continue controlling the Wang family’s power, this man wouldn’t even qualify to be this kind of son-in-law.

Being accepted into the Wang family, he was like a thorn in the flesh for the other branches of the Wang family, seen as a tool by her grand uncle to maintain their hold over the family.

Besides, the pride instilled by a millennium-old family made her inherently disdainful of such a bastard.

Li Feng watched as Wang Zhi’s slap came his way and simply grabbed her wrist.

"Miss, this is somewhat unreasonable, isn’t it? He was the one who hit me first."

Wang Zhi, looking down at Li Feng with arrogance, snorted, "Li Feng, what right do you have to reason with me? My boyfriend hitting you should be seen as an honor, yet you dare strike back!"

"Last time, you caused a scene in our Wang family courtyard, and I haven’t even settled that score yet."

"Let go of me!"

Wang Zhi’s expression was fierce as she glared at Li Feng.

Li Feng chuckled, "Very well, if you don’t want to be reasonable, then let’s dispense with reason."

"Li Feng."

Wang Jin’er, standing behind Li Feng, heard his words and suddenly felt an ominous premonition.

Li Feng yanked Wang Zhi a little causing her to stagger and collapse onto the nearby sofa, her face flushing red.

"Li Feng, how dare you pull at me!"

Li Feng completely ignored Wang Zhi. Hitting women wasn’t his style, but the office held more than just her.

Li Feng walked toward Jiang Yu, who was lying on the ground clutching his chest and trying to get up. Seeing Li Feng approach, Jiang Yu’s eyes flashed dangerously.

Jiang Yu gathered his breath and lunged at Li Feng with a punch, which Li Feng easily blocked, twisting and executing a throw over his shoulder.

Jiang Yu was sent spinning, his spine crashing hard onto the floor.

Jiang Yu groaned, his organs feeling like they had shifted, a burning pain searing through him.

Li Feng wasn’t done yet. He pinned Jiang Yu’s arm, applying a joint lock, causing Jiang Yu to scream in pain as he rolled over onto his stomach. Li Feng then stepped on his shoulder blade.

There was a snap.

Jiang Yu cried out in pain, his arm broken by Li Feng.

"You, you’re utterly unreasonable!"

Wang Zhi watched in stunned silence as Li Feng broke her boyfriend’s arm right before her, involuntarily swallowing a gulp of spit.

Li Feng, standing on Jiang Yu, looked up casually at Wang Zhi, "If you refuse to be reasonable, then I have no choice but to accompany you all the way."

Li Feng lifted his foot and stomped down hard on the back of Jiang Yu’s other hand.

"Ah!"

Wang Zhi listened to Jiang Yu’s scream, her face instantly turned iron blue. "Wang Jin’er, are you going to control your dog or not?"

Wang Jin’er also felt relieved, but Li Feng’s constant roughness was giving her a headache.

"Do you think I can control him?"

Wang Jin’er didn’t intervene.

Wang Zhi stomped her foot in anger. "Fine, fine, Li Feng, let go of my boyfriend, can we leave now?"

Wang Jin’er glanced at Li Feng, and he immediately lifted his foot. "Take it easy, no need for goodbyes."

Wang Zhi hurriedly went to help Jiang Yu up, then fiercely glared at Li Feng as they made a hasty retreat.

"Are you alright?"

"This Li guy, I won’t let him get away with this!" Jiang Yu said through clenched teeth, enduring the severe pain.

Wang Zhi hummed, "I thought you practiced boxing. I didn’t expect you to be so useless, unable to even beat an outsider like him. And you brag about being an amateur boxing champion."

Jiang Yu felt even more suffocated by Wang Zhi’s scolding, but since she was the third young lady of the Wang Family, Jiang Yu could only swallow his grievances. However, his hatred for Li Feng was etched deep in his bones.

Sigh.

Wang Jin’er watched Wang Zhi and Jiang Yu leave, exhaling deeply, then looked at Li Feng with annoyance. "Can you be less violent next time?"

Li Feng glanced at Wang Jin’er. "Why talk when you can act?"

Wang Jin’er rolled her eyes at him, yet couldn’t say he was wrong since he was protecting her.

"It seems my cousins and siblings already know about our company’s situation, now they’re all enjoying my misfortune."

Wang Jin’er bit her lip.

She had expected that the issues with Myth Communication couldn’t be kept secret, but she never imagined Wang Zhi would find a boyfriend who is an independent PR person to intentionally humiliate her.

That was very much like Wang Zhi.

But she was very annoyed inside.

Li Feng smiled faintly, "Let them laugh, they’ll have their comeuppance."

Wang Jin’er looked at Li Feng’s enigmatic confidence and hummed, "If you can’t fix Chen Qinian, I’ll slap you first."

"But how do we operate now when everyone has left?"

"No one’s here; it’s a good chance to renovate. We received all the money from Clover anyway, why keep it and not spend it?"

"Renovate?"

Wang Jin’er nodded, "Sounds good."

"The president, there’s someone outside looking for Li Feng."

Wang Jin’er hummed, "Who is it now?"

"He said Li Feng sent for him." Su Yuqing spoke up, and Li Feng oh-ed, "Is he wearing camouflage?"

"Yes."

"That’s the personal bodyguard your grandfather arranged for you," said Li Feng.

"Ah!"

Wang Jin’er looked at Li Feng. "Didn’t he leave? And you know I don’t like being followed."

"I got him to run errands. I’m the director of Myth Communication after all, sitting just below the top. Shouldn’t I have a driver? He fits the bill," Li Feng said.

Wang Jin’er rolled her eyes again. "Don’t be shameless, he’s a Wolf Tooth Warrior, can you afford his annual salary as a driver?

"Isn’t the company reimbursing it?"

Wang Jin’er raised her fist, "Don’t even think about it, absolutely not!"

Li Feng was "kicked out" of the office by Wang Jin’er and saw Zhang Wannian in full camouflage gear. "Why are you still in that outfit? Let’s go, I’ll get you changed."

Zhang Wannian looked at Li Feng.

"Don’t blame me for not warning you, but it seems you’re being tailed."
