Chapter 251: Chapter 251 Sell the Company to Me
"Ma’am, you can’t go in."
"Move."
The door to the CEO’s office was rudely pushed open, and Su Yuqing, wearing high heels, didn’t catch her balance and fell directly to the floor.
"Tsk tsk, no wonder they wouldn’t let you in, Wang Jin’er, it’s broad daylight, shouldn’t you be mindful of appearances?"
Li Feng looked up at the woman walking in with an air of superiority. It was his first visit to the Wang Family, and he had encountered her once before; she seemed to be called Wang Zhi, one of Wang Jin’er’s cousins.
Wang Zhi took off the oversized sunglasses perched on her nose, still chewing gum, and surveyed the CEO’s office as if it were her own backyard.
"This sofa is of poor quality, it’s so hard."
"And this glass coffee table, it’s way too tacky."
"This decor style doesn’t work either, it’s too plain, this is just sloppy. I want all of this replaced."
"Wang Zhi, what are you here for?"
Wang Jin’er’s face flushed as she stood up from Li Feng’s lap, seeing Wang Zhi giving orders in her office about this and that, replacing everything with a cold snort.
Wang Zhi turned around, a smile on her face as she stepped forward, "Look at what you’re saying, you’ve managed a perfectly good company into this state, how could I not come to check on you?"
Wang Jin’er’s expression turned cold.
"Are you done looking? If so, please get out." Wang Jin’er looked at Wang Zhi irritably. The two had grown up together and Wang Zhi was about the same age, always competing and comparing with her.
Clearly, her arrival at Myth Communication was not to offer comfort; it was more likely a chance to kick her while she’s down, relishing her misfortunes.
"Jin’er, look at you, it’s been a while since we saw each other, your temper seems to have increased."
Wang Zhi didn’t feel awkward at all, instead she smiled broadly; in her heart, Wang Jin’er’s pain was her joy. The more frustrated Wang Jin’er got, the happier she became.
She just loved watching it.
Otherwise why would she come running over early in the morning; wasn’t staying in bed much more pleasant?
"But it’s not your fault, who would blame you when your great-uncle saddled you with such a loser?" Wang Zhi’s gaze instantly shifted to Li Feng, her eyes filled with disdain.
Wang Jin’er took a deep breath, looked at Wang Zhi, "Wang Zhi, if you’ve come here to mock me, you’ve achieved your goal. Now please leave my office."
Wang Zhi scoffed, turned around, and sat down on the sofa she had complained was too hard, crossing her legs in her stockings, and looked at Wang Jin’er with a smile.
"Don’t rush to send people away, I’m not here just to mock you."
"I think this place is quite nice, and since your company is going downhill anyway, how about you rent this place to me? I was just thinking about starting a company."
Wang Zhi said this as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Wang Jin’er’s face turned frosty, "Wang Zhi, don’t go too far."
But Wang Zhi simply looked nonchalantly back at Wang Jin’er, "Too far? My dear, do you think I’m being excessive?"
The man who had accompanied Wang Zhi gave a slight smile, "Of course not, what we’re doing here is simply using resources efficiently, revitalizing garbage assets."
Wang Zhi laughed on hearing this, "Wang Jin’er, you hear that? We’re actually here to help you, your Myth Communication is just like trash now, and since we’re such good sisters, I wouldn’t normally use my pocket money to rent your place."
"That smell I caught walking through the office area earlier, I’m still feeling nauseous, but that paint splashed on the wall was quite a statement."
Wang Jin’er clenched her fists tightly as Li Feng stepped forward, grabbed her arm, and pulled her behind him.
"What does the third young lady plan to do with our location? Start a company?"
Wang Zhi looked at Li Feng with a disdainful snort, "As expected from a person from a small place, really short-sighted. I also plan to start a public relations company."
"There, my boyfriend here has returned from studying in the Northern Federation. He’s an independent PR person in Sea City and a two-time winner of the PR Person of the Year award."
Wang Zhi haughtily introduced the man beside her.
"Nice to meet you. I am Jiang Yu."
Jiang Yu said this with gusto, but his tone was arrogant, and the look he gave Li Feng was full of contempt.
"Wang Jin’er, I’m not being harsh, but running a company is not the same as managing the Gu family’s home affairs. Professional matters require professional people."
As Wang Zhi said this, her glance fell contemptuously on Li Feng.
"Although he’s the son-in-law arranged by your family, what experience or advantages does he have? Maybe he’s great at babysitting and, oh right, he’s quite good at sweet-talking people too."
"I see he’s sweet-talked you into utter confusion; you’ve lost all common sense."
"Look at what he has done this past month, chased away the only professional in the company, and half the employees have left. Now he’s foolishly meddling, getting involved in the dispute between the Century Group and the Three Clovers."
"When immortals fight, what is Myth Communication? A small, broke company with just a few million in profits, and you dare to meddle."
"It’s utterly nonsensical. Not knowing your place is one thing, but to actually dare to attack Chen Muyang of the Century Group."
"Tss tss, he thinks he’s someone, just a bastard boy, a tool for familial alliance. He really thought he was the great young master of the Li family."
Wang Zhi continued to mock Li Feng disdainfully: "Wang Jin’er, you might as well close the company and go home to have babies with him, since that seems to be all he’s capable of."
Li Feng, listening to Wang Zhi’s scorning and mocking, simply smiled lightly, "Have you said enough, third young lady?"
Jiang Yu stepped half a pace forward toward Li Feng.
"I think she’s right; you are just a nuisance who only knows how to make trouble wherever you go."
"Heh, I really don’t know who gave you the audacity."
"The status of a son-in-law, perhaps?"
Jiang Yu also looked at Li Feng with great arrogance; he had been paying attention to Myth Communication because his girlfriend, Wang Zhi, was planning to finance his company, and naturally, he was eager to comply.
Wang Zhi was not only beautiful but with an impeccable family background; he was marrying up, and with Wang Zhi’s backing, he could definitely expand his networks and realize his greater ambitions.
Even if it meant pleasing Wang Zhi, he would not be friendly to Li Feng, especially since, because of Zhou Jie, Li Feng’s reputation in the PR circle was already tarnished.
An ignorant fool, who, relying on a bit of status, acts recklessly; many were watching his blunders with amusement.
"Ha, isn’t it just because of my cousin’s influence? Otherwise, such a good company wouldn’t be troubled like this, I guess the elders would be so angry they’d burst out of their coffins."
Wang Jin’er trembled with anger; Wang Zhi’s venomous words would make anyone hold their breath in dismay.
Li Feng sensed Wang Jin’er’s frustration, "Don’t be angry. Listening to a dog bark can be annoying, but it can be dealt with."
"Who did you call a dog?"
Jiang Yu glared ominously at Li Feng.
Li Feng turned back, looked calmly at Jiang Yu, and spoke with clear distinction.
"I said you, what about it?"
"What, you want to bite me?"
