Before the youth had finished speaking, Li Feng’s fist had already smashed into the opponent’s face, and the blood gushed from his nose, painting plum blossoms on the immaculate white wall.

"Son of a bitch, your whole family are sons of bitches."

The boss in the living room, hearing the commotion at the entranceway, turned his head to see Li Feng in his boxers and flip-flops. A question flashed through his mind: how did this guy get in from outside?

One of the henchmen, holding a photo, compared it to Li Feng and then shouted loudly.

"Dumbass, I’m not blind."

The boss sneered and raised the anesthetic gun, saying, "Heaven has a path you didn’t take, Hell has no gate yet you barged in. Time to die."

One shot to end the fight, the grand sword comes forth.

Almost without hesitation, the boss pulled the trigger of the anesthetic gun.

Li Feng, positioned at the entrance, had already spotted the people in the living room. As someone pointed a gun at him, Li Feng remained as calm as a breeze and clouds, casually using a henchman he had knocked down as a human shield.

The gun did not make a crisp sound, but rather a soft ’pff’.

The moment "anesthetic gun" crossed Li Feng’s mind, the henchman in front of him had been shot. There was no hole in his body, just an anesthetic dart stuck in his chest, and he flopped to the ground, limp as a ragdoll.

Li Feng grabbed another human shield and shrank behind them. The entryway was narrow with cover on both sides, so there was no need to worry about his back.

Two more muffled shots rang out, but Li Feng reacted quickly, and the shooter hit the human shield both times.

The anesthetic gun was a replica of the Type 54 Black Star, minus the magazine, with a loading mechanism similar to old bolt-action rifles.

Li Feng understood the construction and firing mechanism of the anesthetic gun with just a glance and swiftly reloaded it with lightning speed.

Almost simultaneously, Li Feng and the boss in the living room raised their guns and aimed at each other.

Li Feng curled his lips.

And pulled the trigger.

Two successive sounds of anesthetic darts being fired echoed.

The powerful anesthetic effect made the opposing boss kneel on the ground and then his head hit the floor, as if he had been struck by the very dart he claimed could knock out an elephant.

Li Feng, holding onto the gun, cast a disdainful glance at the gunman. With a flick of his wrist, he ejected the bolt and with a single punch, he knocked out the assailant.

Li Feng picked up the gun and, looking at the other stunned henchmen in the living room, casually raised the anesthetic gun, loaded a dart, and with a nefarious smirk, looked left and right.

"This anesthetic gun packs a decent punch, but there’s one drawback, it can only shoot one at a time, which is a bit of a hassle."

Having said that to himself, Li Feng raised his hand and fired.

The henchman who was hit looked down at his chest with no time to curse, and fell to the ground with a thud.

Li Feng reloaded the anesthetic needle with extreme speed and, with a swiftness that left no room for the enemies to cover their ears, fired another shot.

Li Feng, still composed, continued to load the anesthetic needle. As a few of them lunged at him, he reloaded once more, aiming the gun straight ahead.

Li Feng sidestepped, and the man behind him tumbled to the ground right next to him. Li Feng tapped his foot back to create some distance. As the remaining three men glared at him, ready to pounce again, Li Feng lifted the gun once more.

The three men who were about to attack froze as if they had been hit with an Immobilization Spell.

The speed of loading the anesthetic needle was so fast. They had used anesthetic guns before; you have to slide the needle into the magazine and pull back the slide to chamber it, but even at the fastest, that takes like three seconds.

"Heh, you think I’d betray my brothers?" The burly man sneered at Li Feng.

"You think getting shot by an anesthetic gun won’t kill you, right?"

The burly man let out a scoff.

"However, if the needle hits the heart, it’s a different story entirely. The heart would get paralyzed. You know, the heart pumps blood throughout the body. Once it’s paralyzed, there’s a good chance the person would suffer cardiac arrest."

"Cardiac arrest, without immediate CPR, means death. It’s like an acute heart attack."

This was the first time the burly man knew about this. Li Feng’s words were simple, and he understood them. They seemed to actually make sense as his gaze subconsciously shifted to his fallen brothers.

"Now, are you willing to sell out your employer?"
