Chapter 170: Chapter 170: Great Turnaround

"What’s wrong?"

Looking at her secretary’s anxious demeanor, Wang Jin’er was surprised and wondered, could it be that Li Feng had caused trouble again?

As for why she thought "again," it was because Li Feng’s name had already become a focal point just two days after joining Myth Communication, and Wang Jin’er admired Li Feng’s innate ability to attract trouble.

"The chairman of Hua Yun Group is here, and it seems to be because of Li Feng."

Wang Jin’er’s heart skipped a beat, as if thinking about it summoned the reality. She took a deep breath, "Let’s go meet him."

Wang Jin’er knew that as the president of Myth Communication, she couldn’t avoid it. She immediately stepped out of the president’s office, with her secretary Su Yuqing closely following behind, mentally cursing Li Feng, the troublemaker.

"Chairman Yuan, I am Wang Jin’er, president of Myth Communication. How about we go to the conference room? You can express any dissatisfaction or concerns directly to me."

Yuan Hua looked up at Wang Jin’er, his gaze flickered, tsk, this was the new beautiful president of Myth Communication, indeed a sight to behold.

Normally, Yuan Hua would have taken more time to appreciate her beauty, perhaps even finding an opportunity to ask her out, but with matters of life and death at stake, he wasn’t distracted by her charm.

"President Wang, hello, I want to see your company’s Li Feng. Where is he?"

Wang Jin’er tensed up, asking directly to see Li Feng clearly indicated he was here to hold someone accountable, "Chairman Yuan, Li Feng has taken leave and isn’t in the office, but I can address any concerns you have."

Upon hearing that Li Feng wasn’t there, Yuan Hua’s already urgent mood became uncontrollable, no longer caring whether the beautiful president in front of him was attractive.

"I don’t want to talk to you, I want to see Li Feng, right now, immediately."

Yuan Hua rudely interrupted Wang Jin’er. In Sea City, beauties were not lacking, and as long as he had money, countless women were ready to throw themselves at him. If Hua Yun were to be finished, then he would be utterly ruined.

This was not just about bankruptcy; his shipping business had some shady dealings involved, and with the Sky Wolf Association linked to it, once his ship was done, they wouldn’t let him off.

Yuan Hua knew the extent of power the Sky Wolf Association held, and most importantly, they were indeed willing to kill.

This was the first time Wang Jin’er was yelled at as a president, and she felt slightly humiliated, her face reddening, all troubles stirred up by Li Feng.

"Chairman Yuan, Li Feng is our employee at Myth Communication, and I, as the president, am also responsible for the troubles he’s caused."

"For your losses, please make any demands you have, and we will satisfy them if possible."

Wang Jin’er lowered her head, intending to take the blame for Li Feng.

"President."

Su Yuqing watched Wang Jin’er do this and felt annoyed that such a jerk could make the president care, cursing it as blind luck.

"President Wang, are my words not clear enough? I want to see Li Feng, I just have this one request. Can’t you manage that?"

Yuan Hua aggressively stared at the young and beautiful president, her distressed appearance was truly heart-stirring.

"Li, where are you? Because of you, the president is being bullied, you better hurry back."

Su Yuqing stepped aside and made a call to Li Feng.

Dudu, Dudu.

Before Su Yuqing could finish speaking, Li Feng had hung up the phone.

Damn, damned, you call yourself a man.

Su Yuqing cursed venomously in her mind.

Ding-dong.

The elevator door opened.

Li Feng stepped out of the elevator and walked into the office area, "Chairman Yuan, you’re throwing quite a tantrum."

"Li Feng."

In the office area, countless pairs of eyes turned to Li Feng as he walked in. This guy still dared to come back; now there was going to be a good show.

The moment Zhou Jie saw Li Feng, he rushed up to him, pointing at him and berating, "Li Feng, this is all your doing! You’ve really screwed over Myth Communication."

"You owe the company an explanation, and us as well."

Zhou Jie’s lips curled into a cold smile, somewhat smugly looking at Li Feng. Li, keep being arrogant, I want to see how long you can keep it up.

"Get out of the way."

Yuan Hua pushed aside the obstructing Zhou Jie and knelt down with a thump, clutching onto Li Feng’s legs.

"Mr. Li, I’ve done everything you asked. I’ve already apologized. If there’s anything else you need, just say the word. Whatever I, Yuan Hua, can do, I will do it without hesitation. Please have mercy and give me a way out."

Yuan Hua’s actions stunned everyone in the office area. This was a dramatic twist.

What was happening?

Wang Jin’er blinked her large eyes, completely dumbfounded. Just a moment ago, Yuan Hua had been aggressively confronting her, and now he was begging Li Feng for mercy.

Su Yuqing, standing behind Wang Jin’er, was utterly shocked. Her mind raced with questions: Who am I? Where am I? What just happened?

As for Zhou Jie, pushed aside, a myriad of thoughts raced wildly through his mind, trampling him completely. What in the world was going on?

Had the earth stopped spinning?

Li Feng glanced down at Yuan Hua clutching his legs: "Get away."

"I won’t leave, Mr. Li. If you don’t agree, I will not get up."

Li Feng looked at Yuan Hua, who had completely shredded his dignity, quite a character indeed, with the ability to bend and stretch so flexibly.

"Don’t make me repeat myself."

Yuan Hua couldn’t quite grasp Li Feng’s temperament and reluctantly let go, raising his eyes to Li Feng.

Li Feng grunted, "Go back and wait for the notice."

Yuan Hua’s heart sank. Wait for the notice? How indeterminate.

"Mr. Li, can’t you give me a definitive answer? My heart is like ants on a hot pan."

Li Feng watched Yuan Hua’s nodding and bowing pleas with a cold laugh.

"Do you think I’m just farting when I speak? Then there’s nothing more to say."

"No, no, I’ll go back and wait for the notice."

Yuan Hua didn’t dare offend the man before him since he couldn’t predict his moves.

Yuan Hua could only leave unwillingly. Li Feng looked at Wang Jin’er, lips pursed: "Were you mistreated? I’ll get even for you. If anyone dares to bully you, I’ll make them regret ever being born."

Wang Jin’er looked up at Li Feng standing before her, pouting her lips, full of questions she wanted to ask, yet not knowing where to start.

"Li Feng, what exactly did you do?"

Zhou Jie was nearly driven mad. Yuan Hua had clung to Li Feng’s legs and was even scolded like a grandson by Li Feng, making his previous actions look like those of a buffoon.

Li Feng turned his head to look at Zhou Jie.

"Oh, I almost forgot about you since you weren’t talking. Didn’t you say that if I handled the Hua Yun Group matter, you’d leave? Do you keep your word?"

Li Feng squinted, his smile slightly sinister.

Ugh.

Zhou Jie was immediately pushed into an impossible situation; he had made the statement, but he had never imagined Li Feng could actually pull it off.
