Chapter 759: Chapter 756 Saint Land
Heavenly Buddha Universe.
On an unnamed planet.
Wang Hao, with Little White by his side, appeared on a street.
Wang Hao looked around curiously and noticed that the people in this universe were not much different from those in his own.
The only differences were in skin color and appearance, yet they were still recognizably human.
However, the majority of the pedestrians on the street were wearing Buddhist robes, leaving no doubt about the pervasive Buddhist ambience.
Little White curiously asked, “Wang Hao, where are we?”
Wang Hao calculated with his fingers, “This is the Saint Land of the Heavenly Buddha Universe, the Heavenly Buddha Star, where many enlightened monks exchange insights, and numerous promising newcomers study Buddhist Law.”
Little White tilted its head and asked, “So are we jumping right into the lion’s den?”
Wang Hao smiled and said, “Don’t worry, I have changed back, and they’ll never be able to find me.”
Suddenly, Little White asked, “But what if they come looking for this precious bunny?”
Wang Hao was taken aback and muttered, “Right! I actually forgot that they could also find me through the complimentary gifts.”
Little White took out a carrot and started eating it grumpily, clearly unhappy.
Just then, the system voice rang out, “Host can purchase a Heavenly Buddha Universe resident ID. With it, even the Cosmic Consciousness of the Heavenly Buddha Universe won’t be able to spot any flaws.”
Wang Hao asked, “How much does this Heavenly Buddha Universe resident ID cost?”
The system replied, “Not expensive, just 250,000 Cosmic Points each.”
Wang Hao grimaced, feeling the pinch. While 250,000 might not seem like much, when converted to the original Sin Points, it was astronomical.
“Forget it, exchange two for me,” Wang Hao waved his hand.
“Ding-dong, congratulations to the host for spending five hundred thousand Cosmic Points to purchase two Heavenly Buddha Universe resident IDs. We wish the host a happy settlement in the Heavenly Buddha Universe.”
Wang Hao smirked, “Who wants to settle in a nest of monks? I’m here to wreak havoc, okay?”
Little White immediately perked up, “Exactly, we’re here to cause chaos and smash this universe to smithereens.”
Just then, a group of old monks, leading several young monks, came walking by, berating them bitterly as they walked.
“How dare you eat meat, boy? Where is the Buddha Master in your heart?”
“Boy, don’t you know? The Buddha Master refrains from eating meat to bond with all living beings and enlighten them. By breaking the Buddha Master’s vow, you are unworthy of being a disciple of Buddhism.”
“We practitioners of Buddhism aim to escape the cycle of karma. Now you eat its flesh, which is the cause, and there will be an effect. How can you break free from the cycle?”
“And you, boy, actually went off to fall in love. If you long for love so much, why did you become a monk in the first place?”
“Lust is the root of all evil. Having entered the Buddhist path, how can you think of women?”
“What? You had no money for romance before? I’ll chop you into pieces, you little bastard.”
“And you, drinking alcohol secretly? Don’t you know alcohol is a poison that can cloud one’s mind?”
“Drinking is not the issue, we drink regularly too. But why would you drink something so strong? Are you looking for trouble?”
“What? Alcohol below 50,000 degrees doesn’t kick in for you?”
“I’ll beat you to death, boy. How drunk do you want to be before you’re satisfied?”
“Everyone, stop talking. Take these rule-breaking kids to the execution grounds; they no longer deserve to be disciples of Buddhism.”
“That’s right, only the fire punishment can purify their sins.”
“……”
In no time, a group of monks escorted a bunch of desperately struggling young monks away.
No matter how the young monks pleaded, the other monks remained unmoved.
Wang Hao stood there, dumbfounded, thinking that eating meat, drinking wine, and having a girlfriend resulted in being burned to death. What then about someone like him who couldn’t live without meat and always flirted with beautiful women? Wasn’t he destined for the eighteenth level of Hell!?
Little White shivered and said, “Wang Hao, let’s go home! This place is filled with a bunch of lunatics.”
Wang Hao rolled his eyes and said exasperatedly, “I just spent money to get you a residence ID card. If we go back now, wouldn’t that be a loss for me!?”
“ID card!?”
Little White cocked its head, thinking that Wang Hao must have caught the craziness already, talking nonsense like that.
Wang Hao took out a small card and gently slapped it on Little White’s head.
Immediately, Little White’s aura changed, and its body kept shrinking until it was the size of a palm, a delicate little rabbit.
“Wow, I’ve gotten smaller! Does that mean the carrots have gotten bigger?” Little White cried out joyfully like a wolf howl and took out a carrot the same size as its body, devouring it voraciously.
Wang Hao nodded with satisfaction; now Little White not only didn’t have to worry about being discovered, but it could also hide on his person, becoming an unexpected trump card.
Just then, a voice rang out, “Who are you!?”
Wang Hao turned to look and saw a group of monks in martial attire eyeing him.
The leading monk said coldly, “Don’t you know that except for monks, no other people can come to the Heavenly Buddha Star?”
Wang Hao pressed his hands together and replied softly, “Gentlemen, I am a monk from Eastern Earth Great Tang. My dharma name is Sun Wukong.”
“You’re a monk?!”
The monks were stunned. With his stylish attire and trendy hairstyle, he didn’t look the slightest bit like a monk!
Wang Hao said calmly, “The sage seeks the heart, not the Buddha; the fool seeks Buddha, not the heart. Why do my fellow brothers place so much importance on appearances?”
The leading monk looked at him contemptuously and ordered, “What’s this seeking heart and not Buddha? Seize him and have him wear a monk’s robe.”
“Yes!”
The monks responded in unison and quickly surrounded Wang Hao.
“Since these young monks can’t understand plain language, then let them have a feel of what’s coming,” Wang Hao said, as he rolled up his sleeves and instantly transformed into a golden figure.
“This is the Arhat Golden Body!!” The leading monk’s pupils shrunk sharply, and he hurriedly exclaimed, “Elder, this is a misunderstanding…”
“Bang bang bang…”
Before he could finish speaking, a series of crackling sounds erupted.
Just then, Buddha’s voice resounded, “Amitabha. Since you are a monk who seeks the heart, why trouble these novice monks who don’t even know what the heart is?”
Wang Hao stopped and turned around to see an old monk in a tattered robe standing with his hands pressed together not far away.
What Wang Hao found strange was that, at first glance, this old monk looked like an ordinary person.
But upon closer inspection, he seemed unfathomably deep, almost as if he didn’t exist at all.
“This old monk is definitely not an ordinary person; he seems even stronger than a Supreme!” Wang Hao immediately became alert. He needed to figure out whether this was a chance encounter or a trap…
