Chapter 475: Chapter 455: Encirclement Hunt

"Don’t worry about why we need to launch a fierce attack, just make sure nobody can withstand it when it happens."

Dani’s dual guns firing simultaneously is impressive, the key being that he can fire at three people, hit two of them, and more importantly, he didn’t get shot himself, which is truly remarkable.

And Sith being able to pick out the only threatening gunman in the crowd, hitting him with a single shot, killing him instantly, ensured that Dani, while rolling on the ground, wouldn’t get shot. This move is equally impressive.

Everyone’s personal abilities are extremely strong. I can’t say everyone is a Gun God, but being a Gun King is the default setting.

Gun skills are fundamental for a top agent, none are inadequate.

So the question is, Gao Yi, carrying a hammer, with all threatening targets already eliminated, what else could he do?

Using a hammer to kill an unarmed target would be too disgraceful; the Hammer God’s hammer isn’t meant for that.

Eliminating threatening targets is sufficient, there is no need to harm others. Now, only the target’s family remains in the yard; they are unarmed and thus pose no danger.

Gao Yi is holding the hammer, sweeping it across the faces of the few remaining people.

No targets.

The fire has started in the house, but on a small scale. Xinfeng may have completed the arson, but the oil in the burning bottle could burn intensely without spreading to adjacent areas; therefore, other rooms in the villa are still safe for the moment.

If there’s no one inside the house, they must be inside then. Judging from the fire, it’s possible to hide inside.

The three didn’t communicate, but they looked at each other and then, with great tacit understanding, ran towards three different directions.

They didn’t bother to grab someone and ask where the target was. Given the time that would take, it was better to storm in and drag the person out directly.

This task surely couldn’t be left to the boss.

Gao Yi and Lucy stood in the yard.

Gao Yi fell into deep thought.

Where did this operation go wrong?

The drone couldn’t accurately differentiate between the target and the decoy, and the police intentionally used the decoy to draw attention and ensure the real target’s escape, which effectively led Gao Yi and his team astray.

But the delay wasn’t long; the target couldn’t have used just that little time to escape, so even if it was a mistake, it was quickly correctable and not a big failure.

So far, the operation hasn’t failed yet, but why does Xinfeng look as distressed as if he has lost his own father?

Xinfeng is genuinely risking his life, he always wanted to play the role of an intellectual agent proficient with electronic devices, but when he realized he had messed up, he was able to immediately revert to a forceful way of acting to correct it.

Truly worthy to be a core member of Freedom Wind, and a highly confidential one at that; his skills are unquestionable.

There were no gunshots, nor any screams, but the three chosen locations were all rooms far from the fire point; they needed to carefully search inside for possible hiding places of the target.

As for interrogation, of course, that was left to Gao Yi.

Gao Yi cleared his throat, then he said in Arabic, "You..."

Suddenly feeling that questioning was pointless, Gao Yi sighed and said, "Forget it, no questions."

A woman was hugging a teenage boy, crying silently.

A sense of ennui.

Lucy also found it dull, but she wouldn’t have strong emotional fluctuations. This is her greatest strength, but also her greatest flaw.

Being emotionally stable is definitely an advantage for an assassin, but as a girlfriend, it really is a drawback.

Gao Yi sighed and said to the crying woman, "Stop crying."

The crying woman, who appeared to be in her early thirties, was holding a boy around fourteen or fifteen. Gao Yi knew this was the target’s third wife, holding the target’s eldest son.

Another woman was younger; she was the target’s fourth wife, and the child was about ten years old.

The target had only two sons, both brought to Germany, and he also had seven daughters, though they did not come with him.

Another girl there was about twenty years old; she was the target’s plaything, because the quota for the target’s four wives was filled, she was just for short-term fun.

The target’s first wife stayed in Saudi without coming out, and the second wife was from Constantinople, she went back to Constantinople.

All this information was written in the documents, the family relationships of the target were clearly mapped out, and now the identities of these people could be matched with the information, which is good because they pose no threat and need not be eliminated.

Moreover, Gao Yi wasn’t going to harm women and children when unnecessary.

The woman continued to cry, among the three women, only the eldest one cried, while the other two, though scared, remained silent.

They were not causing a disturbance, but watching a woman holding a child and crying still felt bad, so Gao Yi said again, "Stop crying. What’s there to cry about? I am not going to hurt you. Nothing will happen to any of you. Once he dies, all the money will be yours. Isn’t that good? According to German law, you all have rights to inheritance; you’ll all be rich now. Isn’t this better than being vases in Saudi? From now on, you can take charge of your own lives, don’t you like that?"

The silently weeping woman suddenly stopped crying, then, she said in astonishment, "I also have inheritance rights?"

Gao Yi spread his hands and said, "Of course."

Gao Yi’s boss just signed a bill allowing women to drive, so it was quite normal for a woman not to know she also had inheritance rights.

The woman looked somewhat anxious and hesitant, she looked at the other two women beside her, then at the two children.

Gao Yi continued, "The spoils are to be shared equally, don’t think about hogging it all, but you also need not worry about not getting your share."

The woman wiped her tears and then, with a face full of confusion and conflict, turned her head involuntarily towards the villa.

"First floor?"

Gao Yi tentatively asked, but the woman was still hesitating, seemingly conflicted about whether to respond to Gao Yi’s words.

Then, the woman with tear-streaked face nodded with the tiniest of movements.

Gao Yi was about to ask more when suddenly a gunshot rang out, followed by continuous firing, the sounds of automatic weapons being discharged.

The gunfire erupted suddenly and ended just as quickly.

Sith had entered from the back of the villa, and the gunfire had come from there as well, causing Gao Yi’s heart to tighten. He looked towards the direction of the gunshots, preparing to rush in to see.

But soon, Sith’s voice sounded in everyone’s earphones.

"Found it."

This was the Death God Heavenly Team’s first communication after initiating the forceful operation, the first communication, but also the declaration of the operation’s completion.

After about ten seconds, Xinfeng finally jumped back out from the window he had entered through, while Dani’s appearance was quite embarrassing. Dani’s physique clearly wasn’t suited for climbing through windows, so he had entered through the flaming front door, and now emerging, his hair had obviously been singed significantly, and his face was blackened.

Sith was the last to circle back, still holding something charred in his hand.

Gao Yi quickly discerned the item in Sith’s hand—it was likely the target’s head.

Too brutal.

Gao Yi disliked overly bloody and brutal scenes; he felt somewhat nauseous.

Sith approached Gao Yi, lifted the head he was holding, and said with a helpless expression, "Sorry, the whole body was too heavy to carry, but we have to confirm the identity somehow; this was the best choice."

No wonder they call him the Guillotine.

Xinfeng took out his mobile phone, took a close-up photo of the head Sith was holding, and then casually took out a tissue to dab some blood from under the head.

Sith casually held up a head, while Xinfeng unemotionally took photographs and collected DNA information.

Late at night, amidst a great fire, silhouettes loomed, a few people silently performing utterly inhumane actions, sending chills down the spine of onlookers.

Gao Yi felt it was all too psychotic; he couldn’t stand these dreadful people.

The target’s family members finally seemed unable to stand still, but they dared not make a sound, let alone utter any accusations of inhumanity.

"Alright, put it down now."

Sith casually tossed aside the head, then he turned around and threw a massive bone-chopping knife into the burning house.

Why Sith isn’t allowed into the Directorate-General for External Security likely has much to do with his infamous Guillotine nickname.

A pyromaniac, a guillotine, and a gay fat man.

Gao Yi finally realized a problem—that is, he was leading a group of psychopaths, not a single normal person among them.

The Garden was blossoming with blood flowers, those that need blood to flourish, not a single normal one among them.

"Let’s pull out."

Waiting to be all arrested? The mission was completed, of course, it was time to pull out.

Perhaps he couldn’t stand his own psychotic tendencies, when withdrawing, nobody spoke, Dani returned to his driver’s seat, and when the car started moving, Xinfeng suddenly sighed heavily.

Xinfeng said softly, "It’s a pity."

Sith carelessly responded, "There’s nothing to pity."

Dani quite normally said, "Just didn’t see Hammer God’s hammer, everything else was normal."

This operation was planned to showcase how Gao Yi uses his hammer, but in the end, it wasn’t demonstrated.

Gao Yi, annoyed, said, "Can you guys be a bit more normal?"

Nobody spoke.

After spending a bit more time together, everyone began to show their abnormal sides, up until now, ironically, the gay Dani appeared the most normal.

Lucy suddenly asked, "What’s not normal?"

Gao Yi was at a loss for words, but he wouldn’t explain to Lucy what was abnormal because he couldn’t articulate it either.

They were just employing their professional skills; how could one say that is abnormal?

After all, Xinfeng and Sith had their own distinct personalities, although abnormal they certainly possessed complete humanity, Lucy, on the other hand, lacked her own personality, a thorough utilitarian.

Gao Yi didn’t know what else to say, he sighed and said, "Where do we go next? The list is long, there are many places, maybe we should split up. I think it’s a waste for everyone to act together."
