Ultimate Firepower -
Chapter 474 - 454: Body Double
Chapter 474: Chapter 454: Body Double
Gao Yi started the car, the headlights turned on, and as he was making the turn, a police car with its front on fire was coming head-on.
It was like a chariot of fire; driving such a vehicle required immense courage, and so did crashing into one.
Xinfeng leaned back as much as he could, leaving more room from the constraint of the seatbelt, trying to avoid hitting the front airbags.
Lacking experience, Gao Yi didn’t overthink it and drove straight into the police car.
The absolute speed wasn’t high, but the relative speed was very fast. With a loud crash, Gao Yi felt a violent tug from the seatbelt, then he was hit squarely by the exploding airbag.
Fortunately, Gao Yi’s resilience to impacts was exceptionally strong. He didn’t faint or get confused. In the instant of the collision, he immediately reached out to touch the seatbelt buckle.
At that moment, Gao Yi suddenly noticed a large patch of fire on his car window.
The fire was from the oil. Under the impact, burning oil splattered forward, landing on Gao Yi’s car, setting it ablaze too.
The outside was engulfed in raging flames, looking terrifying.
Xinfeng was the first to get out of the car; he directly pulled at the police car door and yelled in German: "Get out!"
Lucy was the second to exit, holding a submachine gun, she rushed to the side of the police car. The heat was scorching, and she couldn’t see inside the vehicle clearly, so she did not shoot.
Gao Yi was the last to exit the car. When he got out, he grabbed the Hammer and smashed the windshield of the burning police car twice.
The fire fell into the car.
Moving forward, Gao Yi hammered the front passenger window, then moved on, hitting the back seat door window with another hammer strike.
The fire was initially kept outside the car, but now, with the windows shattered, it brought a different kind of pressure.
Xinfeng wanted to pull the car door, but seeing the extent of the fire, he quickly gave up on that idea and yelled beside the car door, "Get out if you don’t want to burn to death!"
The door was opened; it was the rear door. A person in plainclothes quickly jumped out, and Lucy immediately aimed at him but did not shoot.
Xinfeng, with lightning speed, reached into the police car from the unburnt rear half and forcibly pulled out a person.
The target was in hand.
Gao Yi was worried about getting hit by bullets coming from inside the car, so he didn’t linger in one place but moved to the rear of the vehicle.
The front passenger door opened, and a policeman got out and immediately fell to the ground. He had two small flames on him but didn’t seem to be injured. However, after exiting the car, he collapsed and lay immobile, on the verge of being engulfed by the flames.
Gao Yi rushed over, grabbed the motionless policeman, yanked him to the side, swiftly patted out the flames on his shoulder and chest, and couldn’t help but complain, "Are you frightened to a stupor? Run!"
The legs were too weak to move, a common reaction to extreme tension and fear, which is often seen in civilians, but shouldn’t have happened to a policeman.
The driver also got out of the vehicle; his hands were empty, and he immediately raised his hands after exiting because he was confronted by Lucy, holding a submachine gun, and the deterrence imposed by Gao Yi and Xinfeng combined was not comparable to that of the gun.
This was a matter of perception; two unarmed men, no matter what, are not as fearsome as one with a submachine gun.
Xinfeng had captured the target, while Gao Yi seemed more like rescuing. Lucy was only holding the gun for intimidation, but there should be another person in the police car; the Federal Constitutional Protection Bureau had three people, two of whom were guarding the target in the car.
Gao Yi used the Hammer to hook the car door and pulled open the rear door. One person aimed a gun at Gao Yi’s head; he was conflicted but also rational. He had several opportunities to shoot but did not, knowing that if he did, he would surely die.
There’s no need to fear a rational person; these people didn’t need to use their lives to protect the target, and neither did Gao Yi and his team need to harm these Germans.
"Get down, move to the side."
Gao Yi spoke in English. He didn’t know if the other party would understand, but he couldn’t let him stay in the car.
Now that the two cars had collided, it was unclear if the engine was damaged. If the fuel system was leaking, the gasoline in the car could ignite at any moment, potentially causing a larger fire.
The last person had no choice but to exit the car; before getting out, he very reluctantly handed his gun to Gao Yi.
Accept the reality.
Gao Yi took the handgun and casually tossed it to Lucy. Lucy, with her right hand holding the submachine gun, caught the handgun in mid-air with her left, then immediately held a gun in each hand, aiming at two people separately.
Xinfeng, holding the target, saw the target trying to struggle. He simply twisted the target’s arm and pressed down with his right leg, forcing the target to kneel on the ground unable to struggle. Seeing that Gao Yi had controlled the situation, he then said: "Confirm the target."
There were no mistaken injuries, no exchange of fire, and the target was captured alive; the operation went smoothly and was successful.
Reaching the front of the target, Gao Yi grabbed the target’s hair and tilted his head back, looked at him, and immediately said: "Something’s not right..."
Stunned, Xinfeng looked down at the target he was controlling and said, "He seems... younger?"
All had big beards, and looked about seventy to eighty percent similar to the photographs Gao Yi had received, and their stature was also similar. But the target was supposed to be over fifty years old this year, while the person Xinfeng was holding seemed at most thirty.
Drones aren’t reliable for this.
Unbelievably, the Germans, along with the target, pulled a switcheroo.
Xinfeng immediately became anxious.
His first action, his debut, and he screwed it up?
Xinfeng immediately looked at the person standing with raised hands and sternly said, "You dared to trick me!"
As he spoke, it sounded as though Xinfeng was some great figure, making it seem impossible for anyone to daringly deceive him.
Several agents and police officers remained silent, no words were necessary.
Xinfeng roared, "Where is he really!"
Still, no one spoke.
Xinfeng was not the type to lose his reason in anger, but he could not accept the outcome that their meticulously planned first operation ended with the capture of a stand-in.
Agitated, Xinfeng violently grabbed the controlled stand-in, pushing him towards the burning car despite the stand-in’s struggles, who had no strength to resist in Xinfeng’s hands.
Suddenly pressing the stand-in against the burning hood, Xinfeng, unconcerned about his hair being singed, roared again, "Where is the person!"
"Inside! Let me go!"
The stand-in screamed out tragically.
The police and the stand-in’s only thought was to stall for time, to ensure the target’s safety once reinforcements arrived.
Xinfeng pulled the stand-in back and then suddenly kicked him in the throat, causing him to fall back onto the burning hood, twisting and struggling immediately.
The stand-in, unable to speak and on fire, could only painfully twist without making a sound as several police officers quickly rushed towards him, trying to rescue and pull him out of the inferno, patting out the flames on his body, seeking to save his life.
Gao Yi felt that Xinfeng’s kick was peculiar yet highly skilled.
Not knowing Xinfeng’s capability, but from that kick, it was clear that he was exceptionally skilled, or rather, extremely proficient, as he could control the force very precisely.
Xinfeng turned and sprinted towards the villa, yelling while running, "Don’t let the target escape, fast, go for a strong attack!"
Driving the target out for elimination was already achieved, but the presence of a stand-in, probably not intentionally prepared, yet finding someone of similar build under the Germans’ deliberate protection, indeed served the purpose of a stand-in effectively.
Danny and Sith’s car had stopped because the situation seemed under control, and they simply stayed in the car.
But now, seeing Gao Yi and Xinfeng sprint towards the villa’s main gate, Danny suddenly said, "Hyacinth seems to have messed up."
"Heh."
Sith sneered coldly, though not dragging his feet, he still took pleasure in seeing his teammate and rival embarrass himself.
Of course, if the operation ultimately failed, there would be no laughing.
So, at this moment, they had to rely on themselves.
Sith abruptly opened the car door, drawing a large knife with his right hand and a pistol with his left.
Danny also got out of the car, arming himself with a pistol as well.
Gao Yi was carrying a Hammer, Lucy with dual guns, and only Xinfeng was unarmed as the five rushed towards the villa.
The Death God Heavenly Team ultimately ended this operation with a strong attack, embarrassing indeed.
Sith was not the fastest runner, but he was closest to the villa since their car was parked at the back. As he charged towards the wide-open villa gate, he suddenly raised his gun.
Someone came out, their plan to divert attention with a stand-in failed, and now they finally started firing, with blocking the Assassin outside the door being the best option of course.
A gunshot, and Sith was the first to fire.
Running and firing a shot, although it wasn’t far, no more than twenty meters, to raise his hand and hit the enemy with a pistol while running, the shot was highly valuable.
The second shot was fired by Xinfeng, the enemy was about to open fire, and certainly more than one Bodyguard was armed, regardless of whether it conformed to Germany’s law in such a pressing situation.
But Xinfeng’s shot was equally valuable.
Both men fired one shot each, killing two Bodyguards who were fighting to the death.
Gao Yi always wondered why everyone could achieve perfect accuracy, and why he never could.
Without Bullet-Proof Vests, without rifles, merely with a small pistol, the Death God Heavenly Team’s forced attack was embarrassing for the Assassins.
But since the attack was too fierce, the embarrassing forced attack seemed less shameful and rather became a show of capability.
So far, it seemed that Xinfeng and Sith were both like gods with their shooting, now it was Danny’s turn.
Danny was fat, but he was not slow in running, albeit his running posture was somewhat comical.
Xinfeng and Sith both stayed by the main gate and did not rush in directly, watching Danny’s actions.
Gao Yi and Lucy were originally ahead of Danny, but seeing their actions, Gao Yi hesitated slightly and slowed his pace, with Lucy slowing down immediately upon seeing him.
Danny’s absolute speed wasn’t slow, since Sith and Xinfeng had already fired, it was naturally time to gauge Danny’s mettle.
Danny, holding his sawed-off shotgun in one hand and a pistol in the other, did not slow down as he charged towards the gate, only to suddenly duck and roll just before entering, moving with surprising agility, like a rolling flesh ball.
Danny fired a shot from the ground using his pistol, and right after getting up from the roll, he fired a shot with the shotgun in his right hand.
Delivering an additional shot, Danny was currently in the main offensive, holding the most dangerous position.
Xinfeng and Sith emerged from their hiding spots on either side of the door, with only Sith firing one shot since there was only one threatening target; Sith picked out the only person armed from the crowd and shot him in the eye.
The members of the Death God Heavenly Team indeed had substance, as representatives from various countries, one shot per person, no second shot needed.
