True Solution of the Sword Dao
Chapter 94 - 94 88 Illusion II

Chapter 94: Chapter 88 Illusion II Chapter 94: Chapter 88 Illusion II Augustine lowered his eyelids, his wide coat fluttering lightly like a cape as a breeze blew in through the window.

“When did this happen?”

“What? You want to go? Auston has been looking for you for a long time. Why not go with Sis?”

Augustine remained silent and walked over to the harp, his fingertips lightly strumming the strings, as clear harp music filled the air anew.

Suddenly, a gust of wind swept into the room, lifting the heavy curtains, and the sound of the harp resonated throughout the space.

As his fingertips ceased, so too did the melody subside into silence.

“Click.” The door slowly opened, and Sis walked into the room composedly.

“Where’s Augustine?” he asked softly.

At the window, only the tall man stood quietly. “He’s gone.”

Ping City

The previously sunny and scorching weather instantly turned dark with clouds. Thunder rumbled, lightning streaked across the sky, and the world was momentarily blanketed in snow white.

“Shunyan has appeared again, requesting a talk with you.”

Lin Fei stood in the bedroom, looking at the message on his phone. He was silent for a while before he suddenly turned around, took a ring off the wall, and walked out of the room.

Lin You was standing in the hallway, his hand pressed against the window glass, staring blankly at the pouring rain outside.

“Yan Shi…,” a cold female voice echoed again in Lin Fei’s mind.

He lowered his eyelids, his eyes a blank, as countless illusions flickered through his mind, bringing waves of severe headaches like tides. Everything around seemed to be shaking, and he gripped tightly onto the ring in his hand, the only thing proving he still had a sense of touch.

After an unknown period, the pain gradually subsided, and the illusions slowly dissipated. He reopened his eyes.

Right in front of him, Lin You was staring blankly at him, holding a black cat in her arms. Behind them, a man in black clothing and hanging a longsword was smiling at him.

A hint of blue suddenly flashed from the depths of Lin Fei’s eyes.

“If you think you can affect me like this,” Lin Fei roared in his heart, “then bring it on.”

Lin Fei glanced at Lin You and smiled faintly at her. He then walked forward with large strides.

The two passed by each other.

Lin You’s eyes widened, and in a daze, she seemed to see the deep blue in Lin Fei’s eyes.

****************

The heavy rain was like mist.

Under the eaves.

Shunyan still looked as suave as ever. When he saw Lin Fei, it was already four in the afternoon.

The location was an old residential area on the outskirts of Ping City. The architecture still bore the style of a much earlier time, with crimson demolition marks everywhere, and few pedestrians or vehicles in the streets.

Shunyan held a red umbrella, with a girl of dark red hair nestled beside him.

“I thought you wouldn’t come,” Lin Fei said softly, holding a black umbrella.

“You’ve become stronger. Hearing news from Andrew, I knew that if I didn’t act now, I might never get another chance,” Shunyan laughed heartily, switching to English.

“So you think you can kill me now?” Lin Fei asked lightly, also switching to English.

“No, you are indeed strong, but your family is not like you,” Shunyan scoffed with a mocking smile.

“You can try,” Lin Fei said calmly. Yan Shi, family, the sight of Shunyan in front of him, and countless illusions flashed before his eyes rapidly. He didn’t know if Yan Shi’s imprint was too strong, or if his cultivation level from Qi Cultivation was insufficient, making the aftermath of absorbing weapons increasingly troublesome. If he didn’t resolve this issue, then collecting weapons to absorb imprints was just a joke.

As for Shunyan’s mention of using family as a threat, the society had protection around the clock. Among them was Yu Fei leading the team at the peak level F, who would immediately notify here if anything happened. Even if a peak level F approached, Yu Fei would have plenty of time to inform this side, not to mention the other covert personnel monitoring and protecting.

Shunyan looked at Lin Fei with a smile, gently taking out a controller. “This is the remote for a timed bomb.”

“Don’t regret it!”

“I won’t,” Lin Fei said as his voice trailed off, his figure flashing. With a clang, a flash of sword light.

Shunyan hastily retreated, his eyes lighting up crimson while Chris beside him let out a cry, enclosing both in a red totem, where a massive flame pattern clashed instantly with the sword light.

A blue totem flashed briefly behind Lin Fei, the immense strength driving the sword to shriek. Countless arcing sword shadows instantly scattered, a series of phantoms overlapping again behind Shunyan.

Boom! A fierce explosion sounded, a burst of flames erupting directly in front of Shunyan.

The controller in Shunyan’s hand was directly cut in half, along with his right hand. Chris screamed. A handgun appeared in her hand but was immediately restrained by Shunyan.

Lin Fei’s left shoulder was scorched, but it had little effect on him as he wielded the sword with his right hand.

“Now I really won’t,” Shunyan said with a bitter smile. “How could you possibly have gotten so much stronger in such a short time?”

“Aren’t you afraid I’ll kill you?” Lin Fei eyed him sternly, remembering well Shunyan’s last scheme.

“Actually, right here under our feet, I’ve buried fourteen specially made high-explosive remote-control bombs. Their total power can definitely take both of us out instantly,” Shunyan said as Chris carefully began treating his wound.

“Now, let’s talk calmly and peacefully. About the Child of Hell, Sis.”

Their battle ended in an instant, and though the explosion was loud, it was akin to a powerful firecracker. For the moment, no one else came over.

“The Child of Hell, Sis?” Lin Fei was startled.

“He once killed my father and mother, and now his next target is you,” Shunyan chuckled, “I will provide you with all his information. If possible, perhaps we can kill him together.”

************

Sitting in the office inside the society, Lin Fei quietly looked at a document, which Shunyan had gone to great lengths to deliver. It was all written in English.

“Sis—Child of Hell. Level C peak Psychic. Perfect appearance, extensive knowledge, immense strength. Countless lives have ended at his hands.

Father unknown, mother was a prostitute, childhood as a child servant to an earl, sold at eleven to become a well-known male prostitute, contracted AIDS at fourteen. At fifteen, he was disfigured and then adopted by a wealthy young lady. Rumor had it he fell in love with the lady, awakened his power at seventeen, raped her due to his abilities, and killed her entire family…”

“Sis, where are you?”

In a vast ancient castle, a female voice called out loudly.

A man with nearly perfect brown hair smiled tenderly.

“Angel, I am here, I am right here,” he walked quickly into a splendid vast bedroom. Next to the door stood a maid who blushed and bowed her head upon seeing him.

“Thank you, Gila,” Sis murmured, smiling softly at the maid.

“No… don’t mention it.” No matter how often she saw it, the maid couldn’t handle Sis’s perfect smile.

In the center of the bedroom, an old woman dressed in a black gown sat in a high-backed chair. Her hair was completely white, and her skin was covered with dense wrinkles.

“Sis… I want the same candy as yesterday!” she yelled, kicking her legs continuously.

“Alright, alright, I’ll have someone go buy it right now.” Sis’s smile was as tenderly extreme as ever, his eyes shimmering with a faint glint.

“Sis, where did Niru go?”

“She went on a long trip, a very very far journey,” Sis gently fixed the wrinkles on the woman’s clothes. He would never tell her that animals died too.

He gently wiped the saliva dribbling from the old woman’s mouth. The action was reverent and focused, as if it was the most fascinating thing in the world to him.

“Sis, he is like standing in Hell, looking up at Angel in Heaven. He is ashamed, wanting to forever possess that purity he could never achieve. Thus, he kept Angel by his side and followed his subconscious, slaughtering all of Angel’s relatives, removing all her ties, leaving only himself. He just wanted Angel to always stay by his side.”

“He is a madman. Angel is his last tie. But he is like a devil tightly leashed by Angel. If one day Angel died, it would be the real coming of Hell.”

The moment Lin Fei gently closed the document, an uncontrollable deep sorrow surged in his heart.
