True Solution of the Sword Dao
Chapter 335 - 314: Blood Sacrifice II

Chapter 335: Chapter 314: Blood Sacrifice II

In the distance, on the grassland, four men were watching the chaos here from afar. The leader of the group was tall and slender with an icy complexion and a faint moonwhite glow in his eyes. He pulled out a cigarette, and with a click, the lighter produced an orange flame to light it. He took a deep drag and the tip of the cigarette slowly lit up, blue smoke billowing out of his nostrils and enveloping the area in a haze.

"The mad dog is at it again. Boss, you want me to wake him up?"

"No need, let him vent. It’s been a while since he’s seen blood," the leader said indifferently. "How are our people in Europe? Have they pulled out?"

"All withdrawn, quite smoothly. I was prepared for some losses, but the enemy didn’t pursue at all," another man by his side responded.

Just then, the clouds that had been blocking the moonlight finally moved away. The bright moonlight shone on the grassland, revealing the figures of the men.

The smoking leader was wearing a black coat and had a Hua-style longsword hanging at his waist, its hilt protruding from the side of his coat.

Behind him, one was a tall, muscular African man. Another had messy hair and a somewhat hunched figure.

There were two others; one stood respectfully at the back, an ordinary-looking middle-aged man. The other had the lower half of his face covered, clothed entirely in black including a black round hat on his head, revealing only his silhouette as a man.

"Commander, this mission was a breeze, easily resolved, and the pay wasn’t bad, quite a bargain. If only we had missions like this every time," the short man casually remarked, his accent a bit off, seemingly not a native of Hua Nation.

"Mad Dog’s been really gunning for it lately, always charging to the front," murmured the African man.

"He’s just trying to show off in front of the commander. After all, the kid was only recently selected for the group," the all-black figure whispered.

"They’re retaliating."

A few crisp gunshot sounds suddenly rang out, drowning out all other gunfire.

The silvery sword light stopped instantly.

A yellow-skinned man stood motionless among the men in black, both hands on a Japanese sword.

"Interesting..." he murmured softly, his gaze turning toward a small mound on the opposite side where three figures in black stood, one of them holding a silver pistol—the bullets had just been fired by him.

"C-level..." an elderly voice rose from the opposite mound. "Are you Mad Dog, Du Yuanwu?"

Two more gunshots were fired.

Clang, clang!

Two bullets instantly landed beside Mad Dog. Wisps of white smoke rose slowly from the bullets that had been sliced in half, the result of high temperatures from high-speed friction.

"Everyone else, get ready," came the command from the mound.

Innumerable aiming sounds arose around Mad Dog. Countless gun barrels aimed squarely at the figure in the middle, completely disregarding the circular formation they were in.

"Aren’t they afraid of friendly fire? If they miss, they’ll be shooting their own people on the other side," the distant African man asked, puzzled.

"No, it might happen to others, but not them—they are from the Fire God Cult, it’s absolutely impossible," the leader explained.

"Should we go help him? The opponents are three C-levels."

The smoking man didn’t speak, just shook his head slightly.

"This is the mad dog’s time to shine. If he survives, we’ll officially accept him, if not, he can go die."

The man clad in black spoke indifferently.

In the distance, a frenzy of metal sparks continuously lit up around Mad Dog, clinking and clanging sounds constantly emitting from his vicinity. A massive blue totem suddenly illuminated behind him, swiftly transforming into a huge cyan wolf that lunged towards the dirt mound. The wolf, large as a horse, pounced fiercely, stirring up a strong gust of wind with its incredible speed. But the trio of figures instantly dispersed in response, and a barrage of gunfire erupted from the three once again.

With each gunshot, rings of blue ripples vibrated around Mad Dog.

"If you want our protection, we’ll have to see if he’s worth it," the smoking man said flatly. "Kill them all, and for every one missed, a finger goes."

"No problem."

The men behind him quickly dispersed, closing in with great speed.

**************

Lin Fei stood in the distance, watching the chaotic battle unfold on the grassland.

Yuan Yicheng, along with his men, seemed to have grown even stronger. Jin Yi was behind Lin Fei, carefully applying makeup using a compact mirror, seemingly unconcerned about the battle.

The melee ended quickly.

Yuan Yicheng dismissed everyone, leaving himself standing there alone, smoking a cigarette, waiting for Lin Fei’s side.

The three C-level experts were uninjured, standing rigid on the spot, daring not to move. They were completely enveloped by Yuan Yicheng’s imposing aura. The slightest movement of their fingers would result in countless wounds, as if the affected parts had passed through a bone-removing machine, pulverizing the flesh instantly until only white, bare bones remained. This was the case for one elder’s right hand, reduced to just a skeletal frame with all flesh meticulously stripped away.

The surrounding grass was littered with bodies, densely packed with dozens of corpses. The stench of blood pervaded the air across the entire field.

Lin Fei, accompanied by Jin Yi, walked over slowly.

"Killing them would trigger the bombs inside their bodies to automatically explode. Quite troublesome," Yuan Yicheng frowned, tossing away the cigarette butt.

"Is there a way?"

"It’s possible to isolate the explosion before they die. But my sword isn’t fast enough," Yuan Yicheng said calmly. "Death is determined by the complete cessation of cellular activity, loss of vitality. Their bombs are triggered by the death of the heart and brain cells. So, as long as one is fast enough, it’s possible to completely separate their bodies from the explosives. I’m not capable of that."

"Indeed, quite troublesome," Lin Fei said, slightly frowning as he scanned the three people before him.

"Who the hell are you people?!" one of the elders demanded, his gaze fixed on Lin Fei.

True Force swept over the three men’s bodies. Lin Fei immediately noticed something unlike flesh pulsing faintly in their hearts.

"Their hearts have bombs installed?"

"Yes. Usually, they are planted in the heart."

"I’ll take care of it myself," Lin Fei said, extending his right hand as the Black Demon Sword instantly appeared in his grasp.

Three faint sounds overlapped into one.

The Black Demon Sword in Lin Fei’s hand blurred momentarily. The three felt a pain in their chests as small holes appeared on the left side.

"You!!" The elder, with a look of horror on his face, pointed at Lin Fei, but ultimately collapsed to the ground. Silent.

The other two were already dead even before him. Lin Fei casually added an extra sword stroke to their foreheads.

"Your sword is too fast," Yuan Yicheng praised. "Five strikes in an instant, you could probably deliver dozens or even hundreds of strikes within a second. And this isn’t even your limit."

"Still not enough, it’s just mediocre. Jin Yi, are you interested in starting a power for fun?" Lin Fei whispered.

"It’s exhausting. But if it’s your request, it doesn’t matter," Jin Yi said casually.

"Compared to other powerhouses in the golden ranks, we still have a big gap at the intermediate level of transitional powers. Jin Yi, let’s create a sect. Whether it’s orthodox or heretical doesn’t matter, what we need is more layers of hidden influence. Your potential energy would be perfect to utilize," Lin Feipeng said calmly.

"If that’s your wish." Jin Yi smiled slightly, no longer speaking.

Bodies fell irregularly onto the grassland.

Lin Fei looked around him.

He stretched out one hand, palm facing upward.

"Begin."

Jin Yi and Yuan Yicheng simultaneously became serious, their True Forces blending and expanding overwhelmingly. They entirely enveloped the area, isolating everything within so that it could not be observed from the outside.

"Sword Canon, begin the Blood Sacrifice."

"Confirming Sword Master’s command, beginning Blood Sacrifice. Please select the resurrection subject," the Sword Canon’s voice echoed in Lin Fei’s mind.

"Choose Ye Yuhua," Lin Fei said indifferently.

Whoosh... A breeze suddenly spread out from Lin Fei as the center.

All the bodies on the ground started to slowly melt away, dissolving into pools of viscous blood like candles in fast forward. The blood meandered toward Lin Fei as its center like serpents. From above, it looked as if dozens of earth’s blood vessels converged at one point.

Dozens of streams of blood slowly gathered above the palm of Lin Fei’s right hand. A large amount of blood suspended in front of him formed a sphere, the blood light casting a crimson hue on their faces.

"Initiating transfer of the mystical contract linkage, Ye Yuhua, elite disciple of the Stellar Domain, strength integrity one hundred percent. Due to the abundance of Blood Sacrifice energy, do you wish to convert the excess energy into stored Space Evolution Degree?"

Lin Fei had anticipated this. "Yes." Although he didn’t know what Space Evolution Degree was for, so far it hadn’t been harmful and had even granted him the terrifying ability of Teleportation. For Lin Fei, there were only benefits and no drawbacks.

A perfect and pale female body emerged amongst the countless blood, partly visible and partly hidden. Lin Fei closed his eyes slightly and turned away. Apart from Jin Yi, Yuan Yicheng did the same. It was the basic respect owed to a powerful being.

"My lord," a cool female voice came from behind Lin Fei.

Lin Fei turned around.

Ye Yuhua was standing there quietly in black clothes, looking at him.

Suddenly numerous memories flooded into Lin Fei’s mind. They were Ye Yuhua’s memories.

Ding!!!!

"Did you hear that?" A clear voice sounded beside his ear. "That’s the voice of the void."

The wilderness was vast under the starry sky, with a gentle breeze blowing.

Ye Yuhua followed behind a tall figure, walking slowly.

"Father, I don’t like practicing the sword. Isn’t it enough to have you and my brothers?"

"Did you hear it again? The call of the void, that’s our Ye Family’s strongest sword," the man turned around, his face blurred. "Only by giving up everything can you break the seal of the Sword of the Void. Only then can our Ye Family return to the high ranks of the Stellar Domain. This is the purpose you were born with."

"Purpose? What’s the use of that? Isn’t living comfortably and happily enough?" Ye Yuhua whispered.

"You are an elite disciple of the Stellar Domain, and in the future, you could potentially ascend to the position of Star Lord Palace Master. How can you speak such disheartening words?" The man gently touched Ye Yuhua’s face.

"Go on, search for your Sword Dao. The seal of the Sword of the Void must be broken."

"Father..."

"Even if it’s for us..."

The scene abruptly cut off.

Lin Fei awoke from the memory with a start.

"Did you see, my lord? My memories..." Ye Yuhua was surrounded by specks of silver light, like countless stars. Her formidable Class B aura constantly surged, nearly pressing the auras of Yuan Yicheng and Jin Yi away.

"The Sword of the Void?" Lin Fei murmured softly.

Ye Yuhua chuckled. She spun around lightly, her black clothes lifting like the hem of a dress. A ring of silver light rapidly spread out.

The voice of the Sword Canon suddenly sounded again.

"Contract transfer complete."

Hum!!!

The Black Demon Sword at Lin Fei’s waist began to vibrate softly.

The longswords on Yuan Yicheng and Jin Yi also shook incessantly, causing both to step back in surprise and uncertainty.

Countless silver lights twinkled. The specks of silver light swirled around the three like numerous stars.

"Did you hear that..." A clear voice reached Lin Fei’s ear.

The sky vanished, the grassland disappeared.

There was only an expanse of silver and black void left.

A multitude of silver lights swiftly gathered in his hands.

A slender longsword, several meters long, abruptly appeared in Lin Fei’s hand.

"So, this is the so-called giving up everything..." he murmured, raising his hand and making a gentle sweep.

A circle of silver lines shot out instantly.

The surroundings vanished in a flash. Ye Yuhua’s figure faintly appeared behind Lin Fei, merging into a shadow and blending into the longsword. (To be continued.
