True Solution of the Sword Dao -
Chapter 318 - 300 Mark 2
Chapter 318: Chapter 300 Mark 2
The personnel and nuns on the side dare not make a sound.
"If we get the mark this time, that participation spot must be put to good use. This could be the best opportunity for our Eastern Orthodox Cult to rise!"
Mariana sighed and said no more.
Lin Fei moved swiftly, so swiftly that even psychics with enhanced bodies could only see a blurry shadow. If one’s reaction was slightly off, they might not even realize someone had passed by.
This inconceivable speed was the true power of the Tracing Shadow Sword Technique.
Having cultivated to the Third Layer and with the enhancement of the Golden Garment Sword Technique, Lin Fei’s speed was now getting faster and faster. The bottleneck of his original physique was also slowly dissipating. His own speed was beginning to fully showcase the true power of the Tracing Shadow Sword Technique.
The scenery around him completely turned into a blur of flowing light, and Lin Fei could only clearly see the objects in front of him. The extreme speed required him to concentrate fully on his surroundings to prevent accidents like running into buildings or pedestrians.
He swiftly wove through one block after another.
"Antos!!!" Suddenly, a roar came from the sky.
"Tagore!" The roar of the prior Tower Shield Knight faintly echoed in the distance.
Next came a thunderous boom from afar. Clearly, that Lion Shield Knight had gotten into another fight with someone.
In the sky above, a white firework suddenly burst open, masking the booming sound.
The white specks of light, like droplets of rain, slowly descended, covering half the sky, resembling a dream.
Lin Fei suddenly stopped in his tracks.
A deep and powerful aura slowly emanated from a corner of Bucharest, like a released behemoth, massive and ferocious.
Lin Fei looked up toward the east, where a faint silver light slowly rose, tinting half the eastern sky with a silvery mist. Only those with abilities could witness this scene.
Meanwhile, on the streets below, Romanian girls out for a nighttime stroll, young people shouting excitedly while skateboarding, and couples walking hand in hand basked in intimacy, all of them completely unaware of the immense aura above the city.
Lin Fei felt a pang of emotion. With this aura, all it would take was for the Knight to fully release it, and the surface world of Bucharest could suffer over eighty percent damage. Yet the ordinary people were living their moments quietly as if within a crocodile’s gaping jaws.
His figure flashed again and Lin Fei disappeared from the spot.
"Elisa’s Gate does indeed seem related to the secret of the pseudo True Force. We must secure the mark and gain the opportunity to contact Elisa’s Gate. This should be highly beneficial in unraveling the secret of the pseudo True Force," Lin Fei pondered rapidly. "My current main path is no longer solely reliant on the Sword Canon. Part of it is from the Sword Canon, including the Star Shattering Sword Technique, the Qi Cultivation volume, and the Basic Sword Technique. Another part is the pseudo True Force, along with what seems to be the Blue Flame ability, and some of Yan Shi’s swordsmanship experience and techniques. Even if I were to forsake the Sword Canon now, relying on the pseudo True Force, the basic swordsmanship, Qi Cultivation, and the Star Shattering Sword Technique that I’ve learned, I could still easily maintain my current level. If it weren’t for the combat experience and the control over forces it offers, the Sword Canon would actually be dispensable to me."
"So, the biggest problem now is how to control the Sword Canon, a completely unknown entity in my mind. Any mishap could lead to extremely serious consequences. Yet, it seems the pseudo True Force has a strong resisting effect on the Sword Canon. If I can find the real secret of the pseudo True Force, it’s likely to lead to the secrets of the Sword Canon."
Lin Fei had a very detailed plan and intentions in mind. By now, he was somewhat intolerant of having something in his brain whose bottom line was completely unknown to him.
As his figure flickered, Lin Fei suddenly sensed an aura somewhat similar to that of the previously encountered Red Armor Knight.
Numerous landscapes flashed by.
Lin Fei appeared directly at the side of a residential complex.
A red silhouette emerged somewhat clumsily from the entrance of an underground parking garage. It was the same Red Armored female Knight from before.
Lin Fei stood by the entrance of the parking garage, and as soon as the female Knight ran out, she faced him directly, halting abruptly.
The two faced each other.
The Red Armored female Knight no longer wore her faceguard, and tear stains were still visible on her cheeks. She had obviously just had a good cry.
Upon seeing Lin Fei, the female Knight’s expression changed, and she began to retreat slowly.
"Don’t even think about escaping," Lin Fei said indifferently. "Without that teleporting psychic by your side, your only choice is to hand over the object."
"Impossible! I will never give it to you! I would rather die!" the female Knight declared firmly.
"It doesn’t matter," Lin Fei said with a light chuckle, his figure blurring instantly.
Bang!!
A silver column of light suddenly descended from the sky, striking fiercely just in front of the Red Armored Knight.
Lin Fei, caught off balance, was blasted away. The Black Demon Sword lightly touched the ground, helping him flip back to his original position.
"The mark belongs to us."
A silver silhouette swiftly flew in from the distant horizon, wrapped in a thin layer of milky-white barrier.
Lin Fei’s expression grew serious, and he felt a sinking feeling inside.
"Apophis, you old immortality, what brings you here," another voice came from behind Lin Fei. In the darkness, under a broken streetlight, a black silhouette slowly emerged, sounding aged and weak, exuding a feeling of lifelessness.
"How could I not come out to greet you when you’re here? This is our territory, after all," the silver figure responded in an equally old voice.
The silver silhouette in the sky had no aura of the Holy See, likely a powerhouse of the Eastern Orthodox Cult, while the black silhouette behind must belong to someone from the Holy See, Lin Fei immediately judged. He took a deep look at the Red Armored Knight.
With a light hissing sound, he disappeared on the spot.
Both the silver and black silhouettes in the sky did not make any move, allowing him to leave. They remained vigilantly focused on each other, not daring to relax in the slightest.
"Vandla Apophis, you’re just letting him leave like that? This is your turf, isn’t it?" the black silhouette said calmly.
"So what if I do? One of your trial knights was killed by him, and you just let him go?" the silver figure retorted with disdain.
The red-armored knight stood in the middle, slowly moving towards the direction of the silver apparition.
************
Lin Fei left the spot immediately, while the two B-rank powerhouses were still confronting each other. Clearly, they were old foes. Given that a Holy See’s trial knight could possess a Holy Artifact, it was even less surprising that B-rank powerhouses would have methods of boosting their capabilities. And those wouldn’t be modest.
"If I were to join the struggle, perhaps I could handle one, but two would be troublesome," Lin Fei assessed his own strength in great detail. He might be able to hold his own against a B-rank peak, but to try such a thing in the domain of others would be suicidal.
More importantly, that red-armored knight didn’t exhibit any trace of Elisa’s Gate. Instead, a faint aura emanated from another location. This was the real reason why he didn’t hesitate to leave.
As he swiftly moved, streets passed by, with the relentless flow of people and the brightly lit shops making the Bucharest nightlife appear especially bustling and exotic.
After advancing at full speed for what seemed like ten seconds...
He reached the entrance of a somewhat gloomy parking lot.
Lin Fei’s figure appeared slowly, standing quietly at the entrance of the parking lot, as if he had always been there.
"This is the place," he murmured to himself. The source of the aura was right here, according to his sensing of pseudo True Force.
He lifted his foot to walk in.
Bang!!
A gunshot rang out, and sparks suddenly flew from the ground in front of Lin Fei.
A dark figure slowly emerged from Lin Fei’s side.
"I didn’t expect someone would find it before me."
Glancing to the side, Lin Fei saw a blond man in a black robe slowly stepping out from the darkness, holding a book with a yellow cover. He wore a smile, as if a saint emerging from the shadows.
At the same time, a silver-armored knight also appeared from the other side of Lin Fei. His features were meticulously sculpted, and at the center of the armor on his chest, a pale gold cross stood out clearly.
"It seems we are all right on time," the knight said faintly.
Whirlwinds suddenly started to form on the ground around them.
The three stood at angles to each other.
Lin Fei’s expression was calm, his right hand slowly resting on the hilt of the Black Demon Sword.
All seemed to fall silent around them, leaving only the breathing of the three individuals.
The wind lifted a can off the ground.
Click!
Boom!!
Three figures instantly became entangled. An abundance of energy spilled out chaotically.
A torrent of wild airflow scattered the dark clouds in the sky.
*************
Airport Hotel
Lin You stood at the window, staring blankly at the spectacular fireworks in the sky.
Feil stood beside her, equally bewildered as she gazed up.
In their view, the sky was filled not only with fireworks but also with auras of powerful energies.
Boom!!
A loud explosion echoed in the distance as a surge of energy rocketed upwards, splitting the cloud cover like a dragon, and moonlight poured through the gap as if it were a direct channel to the Heavenly Court.
"How... how powerful!!" Lin You gasped, staring dumbfounded at the rising column of energy.
"Feil... what level is that equivalent to..."
Feil was equally dazed.
"I’m not sure..."
****************
Atop a streetlamp.
Lin Fei held his longsword high, his silver hair whipping around, and faint blue fluorescent light shone from his eyes. Behind him, the vast illusion of a planet loomed.
Opposite him, two figures gasped for air in a disheveled state, their expressions grave as they focused on him, their combined halos of white and silver just managing to withstand the rotating planet illusion behind Lin Fei.
"Leave, or die," Lin Fei said indifferently. His immense True Force clashed against the two opposing auras. Three powerful auras soared skyward, creating a spectacle of epic proportions.
