True Solution of the Sword Dao
Chapter 275: Volume 4, - 263, Fracture 1

Chapter 275: Volume 4, Chapter 263, Fracture 1

Leaving the hotel where Lin You was staying, Lin Fei felt a bit dizzy for a good fifteen minutes. The sudden change in Lin You was completely beyond comprehension.

Sitting in the taxi, Lin Fei watched the streets rapidly passing by outside the window.

"This girl, she’s actually learned to act spoiled... what a miracle," he sighed softly. He also gave all of his bank cards directly to Lin You. This money was from the idle funds that he had recently called upon from Chen Chen’s side. With the support of Rainbow Group, Yan Lin Group’s development was extremely fast, and it now fully belonged to a multi-million dollar group company. Its profits were also very substantial.

"The connection with the transmitted True Force seeds is becoming increasingly numerous, but it seems that after breaking through to the Planet Level, one can only continue to break through with True Qi, and more True Force won’t be of use. Now I can only hope for the Qi Cultivation Chapter to end soon."

With the breakthrough of the Qi Cultivation Chapter, the First Realm’s Second Layer of Cultivation Strength was also completed, and the Third Layer’s defense began a slow and steady breakthrough. However, the amount of True Force needed was also increasingly huge, almost increasing in a geometric progression.

"The massive amount of True Force required for the Third Layer suggests that the Qi Cultivation Chapter also takes into account the Sword Canon’s ability to rapidly accumulate True Force, designing this kind of foundation establishment that disregards consumption," Lin Fei realized. "Fortunately, apart from the Sword Canon, I still have True Force seeds to spread. There are now as many as a hundred True Force seeds, and it is evident that the range of dispersion has reached a peak. There will be a constant transmission of True Force into my body every moment. With such progress, the cultivation should be completed very soon."

Bang!!!

Suddenly, the connection to one of the transmitted True Force seeds was instantaneously severed in the unknown.

Lin Fei’s expression changed; this was a situation he had never encountered before.

"If the seed’s owner stopped cultivating, it would only become dormant, not break! The connection to the True Force seed has actually been severed," he said with a dark expression.

England

Across the vast, boundless plains, gray and yellow-green grasslands swayed gently with the wind.

In the middle of the prairie was a winding stream. The bright sunlight reflected sparkling ripples on the water.

A tall and upright figure suddenly appeared by the river — a man in a dusty overcoat wearing a round-brimmed hat, holding a small black box in his hand. He stood by the river as if waiting for someone, his expression secretive.

Occasionally, unidentified birds flew across the sky, their cries crisp and clear.

The man glanced at his watch from time to time, seemingly a bit anxious.

Soon, on the other side of the river, a young brunette woman appeared on the bank. She looked around as though sizing up the safety of her surroundings.

After confirming that everything was safe, the woman took a slight leap and landed effortlessly on the other side.

Tap!

She landed with ease.

The small river was merely four to five meters across, but the woman managed to jump over it in one go, something not ordinary people could do so easily.

The man in the overcoat did not seem to mind.

"Did you bring the goods?" he asked eagerly.

"I brought them." The woman took out a small silver-white badge from her coat pocket. "What about yours?"

The man nodded and raised the black box in his hand.

"It’s inside."

"Let’s exchange."

"We’re old friends now, here!" The woman threw the badge over, and the man looked at the box in his hand somewhat reluctantly before tossing it over. "This came from Asia; it went through many price hikes in the middle. It’s guaranteed to satisfy you."

"Is that so?" The woman opened the box and glanced inside, a hint of gold reflected briefly on her face. "It’s just like the rumors."

"This gift will surely please father!" The woman nodded at the man and turned around, leaping back to the opposite riverbank before striding away quickly.

The man paused for a moment, too, before disappearing into the vast plains.

Hiss!

Not far from the riverbank, a tall and strong figure slowly appeared.

It was a man in a medieval heavy-duty knight’s armor, not wearing a helmet, his black hair cut short. His gaze was indifferent and calm as if he had been through too much.

If not for his gray-black full-body armor reflecting European style, one might have mistaken him for a typical Asian man, or more specifically, an Asian white-collar worker, just with a more indifferent expression.

Even more astonishing was the small fairy sitting on the man’s shoulder, the kind from European myths with transparent cicada-winged backs and a dwarfed figure, scattering tiny white dots of light from her body that looked extraordinarily magical.

The dainty beauty of the fairy and the cold strength of the knight formed a stark contrast, yet it was an unbelievably harmonious combination.

"Xiu, is that the person you’re looking for?" The fairy’s voice was as cute as a little girl’s.

The knight did not respond but merely glanced in the direction of the young woman who had been there moments before.

"Xiu?" The fairy with long silver hair fluttered her four transparent wings rapidly and took to the air.

"Let’s go," the knight said flatly.

"Looks like things are more troublesome than expected, right?" The fairy flew a circle around the knight, her voice light.

"Going back to Asia? Yes? Are we going back to Asia? Hey! Xiu, you’re so dull, not even answering my questions!" The fairy said with hands on her hips, frustrated.

Both vanished from the plain in an instant, leaving no trace behind, only the fairy’s sprinkled dots of light that slowly fell to the ground and soon faded away.

Europe, the capital of Romania

Bucharest

Amid the grey-white, circular buildings with diamond-shaped features, there was a street where cars flowed back and forth. The architecture here was mostly rich in Medieval European style. Occasionally, statues resembling the seal of Hua Nation could be seen at the street corners.

In one of the street blocks.

Slam!

The taxi door closed gently. A blue-eyed girl with slanted bangs stood by the sidewalk. She carried a cross-body bag and wore a fiery red bracelet quietly on her right wrist.

"Thankfully this area uses the Euro." An elderly voice rose within the girl’s mind.

"Mhm." The girl nodded slightly.

She turned to look at the building behind her.

A white building with a tall dome, eight stories high, took up the entire street corner. Hanging at a window on the second floor was a sign that read in Romanian: Vama.

The entrance of the first floor saw well-dressed guests coming in and out constantly. Luxury cars also entered and exited the parking lot nearby, indicating the area’s upscale clientele.

"Vama Hotel, the banquet that guy is attending is on the top floor. Shall we wait at the entrance or go up?" the elderly voice asked.

"Go up." The girl’s cool eyes flashed with a hint of nostalgia. She tightened her grip on her bag, preparing to walk towards the hotel entrance.

Suddenly, a handsome man in a silver-white suit emerged from the hotel entrance. His attire and demeanor screamed extreme confidence and composure. Such people usually have good self-restraint, but the man also noticed the girl standing at the doorway. A flicker of displeasure crossed his eyes as he strode over.

"If you’re looking to disrupt my normal routine, I’m sorry to say you’ll be disappointed, and I will call the police," the man said without mincing words.

The girl calmly looked him in the eye. "We... are partners."

"You? Ha!" The man laughed disdainfully. "I’ve said before, don’t bother me with your childish games! I don’t believe in any Energy Scepter! Nor am I a Scepter Contractor. If you’re trying to get my attention with this kind of weird approach, I promise you’ll regret it."

"Chris, let me handle this. Direct mind communication might be more effective."

The girl nodded lightly.

Just as the man was about to turn and leave, a voice abruptly resonated within his mind.

"I am Babanoya. Young man, you can hear me, can’t you?"

"I’ve said." His voice chilled instantly. "I’m not interested in playing your silly games! Don’t you understand?"

A pale yellow halo suddenly radiated and shook off from the man’s body.

Babanoya grunted and exited the transmitting state.

Chris’s face revealed a slight hint of anxiety.

"I’m okay!" Babanoya’s voice rang again, now tinged with a faint weariness. "What strength! Antos Kruba! Truly worthy of being the strongest Contractor! He managed to repel the link of the Energy Scepter with his own power alone."

"Now, what do we do?" Chris asked softly.

"Antos, known as the strongest among all Scepter Contractors, was extremely powerful even before signing the contract with the Scepter, but due to a conflict with the Kruba family, he later chose to live alone, and no one knows how strong he truly became. His nature is absolutely indifferent and domineering. It seems quite difficult to persuade him to join us. This man, he only believes in his own strength. I can feel his disdain for things like the Energy Scepter, so much so that he refused even to hear his own brother’s voice, a fellow Contractor, and used his power to block the Energy Scepter inside him," explained Babanoya. "Perhaps we shouldn’t have allowed you to come in the first place. With your personality, convincing him is too difficult. But since we have confirmed his current location, everything else will be easier. Let’s head back for now. There’ll be another chance."

"Okay." Chris nodded, glancing at the retreating figure of the man entering the hotel, then turned to leave.

Inside a taxi

Lin Fei’s expression was grim.

"I released over a hundred and fifty True Force seeds, all to prevent being detected prematurely. Now it seems that someone in the Dream Eater World has discovered and severed the connection to one of them. If it happened once, it will surely happen again." A trace of murderous intent flickered in his eyes. "No one! No one can stop my advance! Whoever you are!"

He took out his phone and quickly dialed a number.

The call was swiftly connected.

"Hello~~" A soft, sweet young girl’s voice came through.

"Shuang’er, it’s your brother," Lin Fei said soberly.

"Brother, I’m tired of Tianjing already, Shuang’er wants to come back."

"Alright, come back soon. There might be trouble," Lin Fei said softly.

"Okay, I’ll be right back."

After hanging up, Lin Fei closed his eyes briefly.

The middle-aged cab driver in front looked through the rearview mirror with a puzzled glance at the back.

"Young man, you got some urgency? Should I speed up?"

"Thank you, no need," Lin Fei said, his face suddenly shifting from cloudy to a gentle smile. "Just a bit upset by a small matter, that’s all."

"Oh, well, that’s good to hear," the driver nodded.

Lin Fei closed his eyes, directly contacting others through the Sword Canon Space.

"My lord." Yuan Yicheng’s voice was the first to respond, followed by Jinyi and Ye Yuhua.

"Ye Yuhua, you don’t need to get involved, go back and continue your cultivation," Lin Fei instructed.

"Understood." The cold female voice acknowledged and then cut off the connection. (To be continued. If you like this work, you are welcome to vote for it with a monthly ticket at Qidian.com. Your support is my greatest motivation.)
