True Solution of the Sword Dao -
Chapter 265 - 253: Volcano Crater One
Chapter 265: Chapter 253: Volcano Crater One
"Draw your sword," the person seated in the high position said calmly.
Hiss!!
The man in black had nine swords fly out from behind him all at once, turning into nine sword shadows that instantly stabbed towards the high seat.
"Moonlight! Final Form!!" the man in black shouted lowly, pointing with one hand. The nine sword shadows suddenly merged into one, layer upon layer. The sounds of countless swords ringing echoed without end.
Lin Fei could clearly feel an unimaginably immense power roaring towards him. Within this power was an overwhelmingly strong will, as if nothing in the world could stop this strike. Such a force, even when compared to the Sulan Bei’er he had met before, seemed like a firefly to the bright sun, not on the same level at all.
"From now on," the man in the high seat suddenly spoke. His hand slowly reached out, the skin on it shining with the luster of jade.
"You shall be the Fourth Sword of the Siyue Sword Sect."
Clang!!!
Lin Fei suddenly woke up.
Everything around him returned to the scene before.
The breeze brushed across his face, and the smell of grass seeped into his nose, as if everything that just happened was an illusion.
He had experienced the Illusionary Realm in the Sword Canon many times, but no matter what, each time he felt an incredibly strong sense of shock.
After the illusion dissipated, the giant book in front of him clearly appeared before Lin Fei’s eyes.
It was densely inscribed with one new name after another, obviously parts that were opened from the new stage. Most of these names were given using some odd and long designations.
Lin Fei’s gaze moved from left to right, casually selecting the name of a Swordsmanship: Ten Ultimate Sword Dao.
"Warning!! The second stage trial will affect the will and is highly dangerous, please consider carefully," the voice of the Sword Canon suddenly sounded again.
Lin Fei was slightly startled, "Affect the will? Does this mean the Sword Canon no longer has the ability to maintain the absolute safety of the Sword Master?" Although he had been practicing sword arts for only a year or two, Lin Fei wasn’t entirely clueless, as Swordsmanship was the art of wielding a sword, whereas Sword Dao was the path a Sword Cultivator took. Between different Swordsmanship, it was a contest of skill and understanding, while between different Sword Dao, it was a contest of wills. The latter was far more perilous than the former. Once the will wavered, one’s strength could be severely negatively impacted, or even possibly never recover.
After a brief hesitation, Lin Fei chose to exit first.
With a slight hiss, he was back in the room at the Rainbow Hotel. He was still sitting cross-legged on the bed, and even his posture hadn’t changed in the slightest.
He took a deep breath.
Whether it was Sulan Bei’er’s sudden appearance or the abnormal change in the Sword Canon, both gave Lin Fei a feeling of being caught off guard. Originally, he had been following the plan and might have been able to stay hidden until the final stage before making his move. But now, it seemed there had been a change in circumstances. Although Sulan Bei’er likely hadn’t seen through his real appearance and might find it hard to track down his current identity in the ordinary world, this was enough of a warning to Lin Fei that he had become somewhat complacent due to the previous smooth sailing.
"There’s also the matter with Lin You," Lin Fei murmured, "In my previous life at this stage, I was in college and couldn’t know the situation of Lin You at home. But according to the later developments, Lin You was able to get into trouble with Aisaha, clearly the most critical part happened during this period. I must keep up with the situation all the time."
"Beep... Brother, answer the phone..." Lin Fei directly picked up the mobile phone placed by the bed and pressed the answer button.
"Lin, the direct flight ticket to Manila, Philippines for tomorrow has been booked. We can waive the passport issue," the call from Lu Jun. Previously, Lin Fei had asked him to arrange a way to get to the Philippines.
"What time tomorrow?"
"At eight o’clock sharp in the morning. It’s at Ping City Airport."
"I got it."
After hanging up the phone, Lin Fei called Yuan Yicheng to confirm that he was indeed keeping an eye on those from Blood Sacrifice. Despite the complication with Sulan Bei’er, this time, Lin Fei was determined to completely deal with the Blood Sacrifice group.
Once the people from Blood Sacrifice discovered that the members they sent were all wiped out, there would be only two choices: to retreat, which is an option when their strength is insufficient, or to continue the mission if the remaining members are strong enough. Whatever choice they make, they would adopt a wait-and-see attitude first, to figure out the reasons behind their complete defeat here and assess the enemy’s strength before deciding.
Therefore, regardless of which choice they make, it cannot be guaranteed that once Blood Sacrifice learns about the situation here in the outer world, they would not take risks and continue to come over with other means to achieve their goal.
"To uproot the weeds, one can only hide as much as possible and delay for as long as it can be," Lin Fei was actually holding onto such an intention too. He still remembered that at the moment before his death in his previous life, there was not only her beside Lin You, and among these people, it seemed none of them had the appearances of the current group, obviously new people met and befriended later on.
"This indicates that, moving forward, Lin You will continue to face a series of tumultuous events. As long as I keep close to them, I should be able to grasp the most accurate progress and changes. Tomorrow, I should be able to break through the last painting, and after the last painting of the Second Layer, I should be able to resurrect another person. It’s just right to use the people from Blood Sacrifice for the Blood Sacrifice."

Manila, Philippines
In a luxury hotel.
A bald man wrapped in a white towel was sitting on a white leather sofa with his legs crossed.
"Damn this godforsaken place. If it weren’t for your suggestion to take on this mission, Niqi, I would never have come here in my life!"
The bald man cursed and swore, with his black chest hair exposed where the white towel gaped open, looking like a giant black bear wrapped in a towel. His angry cursing caused the sofa to constantly creak.
Sitting opposite him was a fair-skinned middle-aged man—Niqi. He was prim and proper, epitomizing urbane elegance, slowly sipping on a steaming cup of coffee in his hand. He seemed exceptionally calm.
"Boss, Manila is indeed a bit deformed, dirty and chaotic. But we’re just passing through and will only be staying for a few days. Did I hear right that you got some news about Lina and the others yesterday? What’s going on?" Niqi asked quietly.
"Agudo said he can’t get through to their phones. It’s probably just signal interference after their recent space teleportation. Don’t worry, they have the ability to move through space; it’s not easy for something to happen to them. They’re just retrieving an Energy Scepter; if they get it, great, and if not, they should still be able to return safely. We’re just trying our luck," said the bald man nonchalantly.
"The problem now is that Glans also wants to get involved in this mission. Black Bee isn’t someone to be trifled with either. It seems difficult for our Fangs to monopolize it. Niqi, do you have any ideas?"
"I do have an idea," Niqi said, sipping his coffee lightly. "Our whole team is mobilized because we acted quickly, so we got ahead of everyone else. As long as we find the mission target quickly, without any other parties present, it’s up to us to say how much stuff the target actually has."
"The key is how to find it quickly," the bald man frowned. "And there’s the guy we met yesterday, Yuan Yicheng. I always feel that this guy is a bit shady. Could he be an obstacle to our mission?"
"No worries, with your strength, boss, we shouldn’t have any major problems. The focus should still be on Black Bee and the others. As long as we keep an eye on them, everything else is not a problem," Niqi stated confidently. "Based on Black Bee’s attitude, this mission is pretty much irrelevant to him; he doesn’t care about anyone other than their leader. So his involvement likely has other motives. But for Glans, he is definitely after the same goal as us." Niqi paused for a moment. "The situation now is very delicate, with Fangs, Glans, and Black Bee—almost half of Australia’s strongest mercenaries—all present here. Regardless of whether Black Bee has the intent to compete, assuming he does join this struggle, our head start becomes all the more critical."
"I hope Black Bee doesn’t overestimate himself. Even at a cost, I can keep him here," the bald man said with a fierce look.
"That’s for you to see to, boss. I can only assist from the sidelines," Niqi said with a smile.
"You are the pillar of our team. It should be me assisting from the sidelines," the bald man laughed.
Across the way, in a room of the opposite building behind drawn curtains, a Caucasian man was calmly observing the two men talking across from him.
Through the clear floor-to-ceiling window, a bald hulk wrapped in a white towel could be seen talking to a prim and proper white man.
"How about it? Do you see them?" A tall figure sitting in a chair with his legs crossed asked softly from the dark rear of the room.
"I see them," replied the Caucasian with a slightly grave expression, peering through the gap in the curtains at the opposite side. "Who would have thought that Fangs would mobilize wholly, with Niqi and the entire Fangs group coming over. It’s a bit troublesome."
"No problem," the shadow in the dark said indifferently, "They think they’re all a step ahead of us, so they’ll definitely speed up the execution of the task. We just need to sneak behind them and follow. When the time comes... you know what to do, right?"
"Of course," the Caucasian smiled. "Now, we just don’t know what Black Bee is up to. It’s hard to say what his purpose is in coming here, but his strength is indeed formidable, so we must be cautious."
"We’ll deal with that when the time comes," the Caucasian smiled, "With you leading us, boss, we don’t need to fear either of them."
"Possibly," the shadow in the dark said, noncommittal. "Currently, the heretics and the Holy See are at a stalemate in the Inner World. A major disturbance could break out across the whole world; let us not be complacent."

Manila International Airport, Philippines
Approaching noon, the scorching sun fiercely enshrouded the entire airport in blinding brightness. Despite clear skies being the most common weather here, the temperature today still exceeded the norm.
The white plane with a yellow tail taxied slowly for a distance before finally coming to a stop.
Stairs were set up for deboarding. The cabin door was slowly drawn open.
Passengers from the economy class surged out immediately.
Most of the passengers were dressed in cool attire like short-sleeve shirts. Among them, some wore identical white tour caps, seeming to belong to a tour group, immediately starting to organize and gather their numbers upon disembarking. Most of these people were elderly men and women, with only a few young individuals who appeared to be accompanying the older ones. The younger ones looked to be only around fifteen or sixteen years old, the slightly older ones probably in their twenties or thirties, likely caring for the seniors.
There was a considerable number of cap-wearing people in the entire tour group. The leader up front grabbed a tour flag, using it as a rallying point, then began loudly calling out in Mandarin.
