Back to Victoria waking up in her hotel room. She felt aches and pains in her lower back, as she remembered how she had crazily attacked her husband in her drunken state. She kept slapping her forehead as she rolled around in bed. She had always hated her husband. How could she do such a crazy thing, and how would she make him think she loved him completely?

However, Victoria was actually curious because she couldn’t remember everything she did that night. She remembered partying with her clients and they ended up drinking champagne until they were drunk. After that, she couldn’t remember clearly. She wondered what she had talked about with Chris earlier that made her seem so serious. Then, to make matters worse, she had wrestled with her husband in bed, driving them crazy. For some reason, she couldn’t remember what she had talked about with her husband last night. She hoped she hadn’t made too many mistakes that would immediately lower her self-esteem.

drrt...drrt...

Her phone suddenly vibrated on the bedside table. Seeing her husband’s name flash across the screen, her cheeks flushed. Although this wasn’t the first time they’d done this, she was incredibly embarrassed, as she was practically devouring him this time. Her right hand trembled as she swiped the screen.

"Matthias, where are you?"

"I am at home, now waiting for you to come home."

"Why don’t you take me home with you?"

"Because I was worried you wouldn’t be comfortable after what we did last night."

Although it sounded simple, Victoria was so happy to hear it that her smile widened. "This is the first time I’ve heard of a man as innocent as this."

"I feel guilty because I didn’t keep my promise last night."

"Matthias..." Victoria increasingly refused to scold her husband who was too good in her eyes.

"You should go home now. I’ve made some hangover soup for you. Sawyer will drive you home."

"Alright, I’ll go see Sawyer now. By the way,why do you always ask Sawyer to help you? Even though today isn’t a work day."

"Because he’s the only one I can rely on outside of work hours. During work hours, I can rely on my assistant."

Meanwhile, Lucretia arrived at the hotel just as Victoria and Sawyer were checking out. Her face was filled with anger as she went into the elevator with her assistant. Her assistant reported that Matthias hadn’t returned home after the dinner party. She assumed he’d slept with the mysterious woman he’d danced with at the party the night before. Her blood pressure immediately rose at the thought of her son sleeping with a strange woman all night.

She immediately inserted the hotel room access card and barged into the room her son had booked. As she entered, her eyes widened as she saw a familiar young woman wearing only her underwear, her clothes scattered across the floor.

"Amber? What are you doing here?" Lucretia asked in a slightly harsh tone.

Amber put on a pitiful face as she covered herself with a blanket and suit. "Auntie, I’m sorry. I really didn’t mean to."

Lucretia walked quickly over to Amber and sat on the edge of the bed. "I got information from the hotel. This room was reserved specifically for Matthias. How did you end up sleeping here? Did Matthias invite you?"

Amber nodded. "I was drunk last night. Then, Matthias stumbled upon me. He saw me almost tripping, and he ended up suggesting I sleep with him because he said it was dangerous for a beautiful woman to walk home alone late at night."

Upon hearing this happy news, Lucretia’s face, initially angry, now revealed a beaming smile. Her hand gripped her future daughter-in-law’s hand tightly. "You don’t need to feel guilty. In fact, I’m happy to hear this happy news."

"Auntie, are you really not mad at me? Now I’m the one who looks like a slut sleeping with your son even though we’re not even married yet."

"Instead of Matthias sleeping with that bitch, he’d rather sleep with you." Her right hand stroked Amber’s stomach. "Especially if you get pregnant thanks to my son’s hard work, I’ll support you all even more."

Amber smiled sarcastically as she hugged her future mother-in-law. "Don’t worry. I definitely won’t disappoint you, Auntie. This proves that Matthias has dumped that bitch. Maybe he’s bored, even though he danced with her last night."

"I don’t have to worry about my son anymore. He finally realized his mistake. Anyway, if you get pregnant, you must marry my son immediately."

Meanwhile, Matthias still wore a happy smile as he enjoyed breakfast with his wife in their luxurious residence. Matthias had expected his wife to be awkward after what they had done all night. He hadn’t expected her to treat him the way she had last night. Seeing her still willing to come home made him grateful.

Victoria savored her husband’s homemade hangover soup with a warm heart. For some reason, every time she tasted it, it perfectly suited her taste. However, she still didn’t dare look him in the eye after their embarrassing night together.

"I’m sorry I was rude to you this morning. I should have asked you to go home with me," Matthias said softly.

"It’s okay. We shouldn’t have gone home together. There were plenty of people watching us." A beaming smile lit up her beautiful face. "By the way, I’m really liking your hangover soup."

"Even though you like it, that doesn’t mean you always drink until you’re drunk. Actually, I was really worried about you last night. All your clients were men. I was worried you’d get harassed when they were all drunk and saw you were the only sexy woman in the room."

"Don’t worry, I wouldn’t act rashly like that with my clients. Besides, I drank champagne with them last night to celebrate their desire to work with me again."

"Thankfully, they kept their promise."

"But, did I do anything wrong to you last night other than we really did it by accident?"
