The window curtain of the carriage was raised up revealing a middle aged women dressed luxuriously, with a look of haughtiness.

The maid quickly walked back to her and they both whispered something to each other before the maid nodded and the woman put the curtain back down. " that is madam Huang... Is she coming here? " Jinhua affirmed to doctor Shi’s question while looking at the carriage in doubt. " who’s madam Huang? " Xiao Ling who was at loss suddenly asked Yanzhi. He started to lead Xiao Ling towards the carriage alongside Jinhua and doctor Shi when they saw madam Huang get down from the carriage and started to make her way towards them. They stopped in front of her and saluted with their hands cupped. " to what do we owe madam Huang’s visit to our humble restaurant? " Yanzhi asked in a mild tone which was not arrogant and yet not polite as he straightened himself up with Xiao Ling.

" Don’t you know who’s presence you’re in?! " her handmaid said in anger seeing their behavior towards her lady, but madam Huang raised up her hand to stop her. She looked at Yanzhi and Xiao Ling up and down sizing them up, " doctor Shi, mrs. Shi " she turned her focus to doctor Shi and nod to him and Jinhua who nodded back before turning to YanZhi. " You’re the owner of this restaurant? " she asked with aloofness looking at the restaurant thinking it was nothing much. When she heard the crowds talked about being able to buy ice in this hot weather she thought it might have been a very influenced merchant who got a method for producing ice in summer.
