" Everyone should be patient, you will all get to buy... we just opened our restaurant today, there are more cold drinks in the restaurants and cold dishes. You can head into the restaurant to try our cold dishes... " when they heard this most of them head straight to the restaurant, leaving alone a few at the stall. The man who first tried the ice tea was still waiting.

" This boss is this tea sold in the restaurant? " he asked Xiao Ling.

" Ah no, the tea is sold here in the stall but there are far better iced drinks in the restaurant... " Xiao Ling answered.

" Okay give me one more cup before I go in " the man said.

" Then do you want to have it here or take it in, we have bamboo tubes which you can take away. Small tube for five cents, medium tube for ten cents and large tube for sixteen cents " Xiao Ling asked.

" Boss give me a medium tube.. I’ll take it in " Xiao Ling nod and filled a medium size bamboo tube which was customized almost looking like a modern take out cup. The man nodded in satisfactory when he saw the novelty of the bamboo tube, he gave eighteen cents before heading in.

" This boss give us two small tubes " the old man with his grandson said and Xiao Ling served them too, they also paid but left.

" Mistress we just got a lot of people .go in the diner! " Yue exclaimed happily

" Keep hawking and we’ll get more diners " Xiao Ling said and patted her head.

" Selling iced fruit juice, selling iced tea, get your cold dishes here " they started hawking again as the got more customers head into the diner.

" Ahh everything in the restaurant is cold and takes away the heat from the sun... I wish I could get this for every summer. " the diners who walked out of the diner complimented happily as they walk and inform they’re friends of the new good thing in the county.

"Ddid you say ice in summer? where did you get it " a carriage stopped by two young men who were discussing after walking out of ZhiLing’s Diner, a young servant asked them as she climbed down the carriage.

" Ah isn’t this the carriage of madam Huang the county magistrate wife?.... " they exclaimed and cubbed their hands and bowed respectfully.

" Where did you get the ice in this summer? " madam Huang raised up the small window curtain and asked.

" Madam there’s a new restaurant which just opened today, everything they sell there is cold and there are ice drinks and other stuffs " one of them took over answering and said respectfully.

" Where is the restaurant at? " the servant asked.

" It’s just in front, there’s a stall at the restaurant with a ger and two young ladies there.. it’s not hard to spot " the servant nod and threw a tael at them before she went to get on the carriage again.

" Take us there " madam Huang said to Coachman....

At the restaurant Xiao Ling was busy with the stall while YanZhi welcomed master Zhang into the diner.

" Master Jun, congratulations on the opening of your restaurant " the corner of Yanzhi’s lips arched up to form a smile " thank you master Zhang, forgive me but i can’t accompany master Zhang. I’ll have someone lead you in " YanZhi thanked him and looking apologetic and said, but master Zhang quickly waved his hand showing YanZhi that he didn’t mind and opened his mouth...

" Does master Jun not take my master seriously? You should feel honored that my master made time to..... " Yu who was behind master Zhang along with Cheng Lin sneered and said angrily to YanZhi, he was still holding grudge against Yue for her kicking him which he considered a sneak attack because he was very confident in his strength and wouldn’t agree to being beaten by a girl. Yanzhi walked to the front of the restaurant thinking of seeing the smile on Xiao Ling’s face as he hawk to attract bypassers, but that thought came crashing down when he was met with Xiao Ling and his disciples arguing with the local thugs in the county. He quickly walked to the side of Xiao Ling and place his hand on Xiao Ling’s shoulder. Xiao Ling raised up his head when he felt the hand on his shoulder, he looked at Yanzhi aggrievedly when he saw that it was him. It wasn’t that Xiao Ling was weak and couldn’t defend and protect himself. It was the fact that he didn’t know much of the law in this Ancient era so he didn’t want to take any action that might come back to bite him and ruin his newly opened restaurant. He stared at Yanzhi with his eyes pleading of Yanzhi to provide him with a way out... Yanzhi chuckled when he saw his helpless look. He return to his calm look and ask .

" What’s going on here? " he looked at the thugs indifferently while he asked nonchalantly " we’re here to take the protection fee, everyone who opens a shop in this side has to pay protection fee to us who oversee this side. You know.... anything can happen here..... you pay us and we’ll make sure nothing happens to your shop! " a thug who looking like the leader answered arrogantly with a smug look whilst the others scoffed and laugh. Yanzhi looked at them as if he was watching insignificant bugs buzz around " throw them out " he ordered not wanting to waste time with them. The face of the leader of the thugs turned red from anger when he heard Yanzhi’s arrogant words " smash this pla..... " before he could make an attempt to say or go anywhere Lin virtualized his qi on his fist and punched at them without his fist making an impact with their bodies. All the thugs where blow five feet away from where there stood crashing onto the ground. The onlookers and bypassers all started to cheer on seeing the local thugs being beaten, they admired Lin’s strength and martial arts. But they soon dispersed since no one wanted to involve themselves in the troubles of the local thugs, but Lin who was cheered on wasn’t happy at all. To him he felt the strength he showed now wasn’t to appreciated at all and was not happy, " master i didn’t use much strength at all but they went flying " he complained to Yanzhi unhappy while looking at his still clenched fist.

Xiao Ling who admired and felt jealous of his display was stunned to hearing his unhappy tone and complaints. " how can you compare yourself to them? They’re very weak compared to you " YanZhi said with a chuckle intending to sooth him. To him it was very funny to see Lin who looked very mature on the outside complain like any other child, YanZhi knew that it was the fact that Lin was still very young just like a human child. Lin walk back to his disciple brothers after listening to Yanzhi’s soothing words, YanZhi who was thinking of going back inside the restaurant felt Xiao Ling’s hot gaze on him. He turned to look into the eyes of Xiao Ling’s sparkling eyes. The corners of Yanzhi’s lips curved up into a teasing smile looking at Xiao Ling with the ’ i know that look, look. " what is it? " Was that internal energy? " before Xiao Ling could ask or say what he wanted to a voice beat him to it. They watched as doctor Shi and Jinhua approached them with the look of shock and bewilderment. " .... yes " YanZhi sized them up for a moment before swiftly answering. Jinhua hearing that, he ran and grabbed hold of Yanzhi’s hand forgetting his manners. Yanzhi calmly pulled out his hands from Jinhua’s not expecting Jinhua to act on impulse and excitement. Even doctor Shi and Xiao Ling were shocked to see Jinhua like that, realizing what he was too excited Jinhua blushed embarrassedly and coughed dryly. " forgive me brother Yan.... i was too excited now " he apologized. Yanzhi nodded indifferently.

" Are you a martial artist? are you learning under a master? " Jinhua asked still excited in heart.
