Chapter 120: Ch. 55 Part 2

"And that is all about the auction house, anyone can bring their valuable items which you don’t use anymore for it to be auctioned in the auction house. Our auction house will only charge 10% of the commission." Yue ended her explanation with that. Magistrate Huang and master Zhang who listened with interest nodded in understanding.

"This auction is a really interesting way to sell and buy things, this way only the person who bids higher gets the goods!"

"I said it! Master Yan please have some servants help me bring up the items I brought with me to be auctioned." Madam Huang came to visit personally for this issue was very happy when it was brought up for discussion.

"En. Chang take care of it." Yanzhi was noncommittal as he instructed Chang.

"You go and show him the items." madam Huang also ordered her servant, both Chang and the servant cupped to their masters and left the group halfway to where they were heading to. After walking for a while they came to a place with a plaque at the top and ’Treasure Hall’ was written in bold characters. Walking through the opened gate, magistrate Huang, madam Huang, master Zhang, Cheng Lin and Yu were all dazzled and blinded by the sight which welcomed them. Rows of shelves with items arranged neatly. It was as if they’ve walked into a room with mountain of silvers and golds, sparkling and shining and blinding their eyes.

"Master Yan, here is?" Master Zhang gulped nervously and swallowed the lump in his throat.

"TianXin Treasure Hall." Bee said casually and walked in after Yanzhi.

"First Elder Jiang is serious?" Master Zhang questioned in disbelieve as he quickly followed. "This is all for the students you’ll be taking in? For free?" he asked in doubts. It’s true that martial arts schools mostly provide weapons and some things needed for practice for their students, but isn’t this too much?

"Who says it’s free? It’s bought with points, in TianXin Sect everything is bought and redeemed with points." Bee corrected with no expression on his face.

"Points? What’s that?" Magistrate Huang asked curiously, after coming here and seeing all the good things he planned on making use of the spots given to him. Adding his two spots and that of his wife it makes four, they have 3 children who are two boys and one girl. The eldest is already studying and is even participating in this year’s exams, and the second was a girl, he has no intention of letting her practice martial arts, she’ll be married off to an aristocrat family so that leaves him with the youngest son who was seven years old and was also studying for officialdom. But now he thinks it’ll be best to have him rather practice martial arts under Master Yan, he could also see a better future for his son as a martial artists. Magistrate Huang couldn’t stop grinning while thinking that. And for the other three spots, there are a lot of brothers and nephews, he would give it to those interested, but he doesn’t intend on telling them the good things he had just found out and seen, they can also find out themselves if they have the strength! So for his son’s future he wanted to ask and inquire everything about TianXin Sect as to get his son well prepared.

"You’re here to buy, not to ask questions about our sect, now state what you want. to buy." Bee became annoyed by their continuous questions.

"First Elder Jiang, I want to take a look at weapons first." Master Zhang stated.

"Come this way," Yanzhi invited as he lead them to the weapon section. Their eyes couldn’t keep up as they walked in between the shelves, getting to the weapon section their mouths were wide opened and couldn’t close for a while. Long swords, short words, different kinds of spears, bows and arrow, daggers everything was there, every weapon in existence and none missing. Even some strange weapons which they’ve never seen in their lives before. They all run to check out the weapons that caught their eyes.

"Master Yan, this sword is priced in points." Cheng Lin informed as he saw ’400 points’ written on the shelf below the place he picked up a short sword on the shelve.

"It’s the same here" the others added to his words.

"That’s the pricing here in the school, for the pricing of the sword you picked it’s 500 taels of silvers." Bee said to Cheng Lin. It was arranged that he’d be in charge of all private business and Yue would be in charge of the auction house so the pricing of the things were set by him after consulting with Yanzhi. Conversion of pints where arranged as this, 1 low grade spirit stone = 1 point, and to earn points it was arranged to not be hard for the students to earn the points. Completing mission such as hunting the now evolved animals like rabbits will earn 5 points and bigger animals naturally will give more points. And one could also convert this world’s currency to point which is the silvers and gold, 10 taels of silvers = 1 point and so on. Don’t say it’s cheating because hunting small animal like rabbit would give 5 points while 10 taels of silvers will only give 1 point. There’s a reason for that, firstly because the animals have evolved they were very dangerous, now a rabbits strength was 10 times what it used to be and very intelligent. And for the second reason, there wasn’t any particular use of silvers and gold for cultivators so in Yanzhi’s eyes those were superficial and deemed useless, there was abundant gold and silvers in his space collecting dusts. It isn’t that gold and silver weren’t useful, it’s also used as currency in some cultivation worlds but the main currency for cultivators were spirit stones. So looking at it that way the pricing for non sect members and sect members were entirely different, in fact in a real cultivators view the pricing was very cheap!

"500 taels of silvers?!!" some were alarmed and some overjoyed. Both magistrate Huang and master Zhang and Yu were overjoyed thinking these good things were sold cheaply, they could feel the aura from the weapons and knew that if not here were else could they get these good weapons with aura. Even the weapons they use which didn’t have auras and were slightly better than normal weapons, they bought those with tens of thousands of silvers! And the poor ghosts like Cheng Lin who came from a poor family didn’t have that kind of silvers, he could only put back the weapons and resign to his fate.

"Master Yan I want it!" the three of master Zhang, magistrate Huang and Yu said strongly at the same time. Looking at each other it was as if facing a very formidable enemy. Yu who was arrogant before coming up had lost his arrogance and shrewdness after everything he had seen and heard, he was much more humbly and honest now.

"What are you fighting for, isn’t there weapons all over the place." Yanzhi frowned in annoyance seeing how jumpy they were, two old ghost fighting over that broken sword with a small ghost, it was hurting his eyes to look.

The two old ghost and small ghost: "....." Master Yan that isn’t a broken sword, but a very good sword!

They blushed embarrassedly and regained their composure, Master Yan was right, there were good weapons all over the shelves and even much better ones than that one. Yu took possession of the sword which Cheng couldn’t afford and another one which caught his interest. Master Zhang picked up three long swords and two short swords, three spears and five bow and arrows and five shields. Magistrate Huang picked up two long swords and two short swords, the silvers he had on him was very little so he couldn’t go on a full swing shopping like master Zhang who came prepared with the intention of buying.

"Master Yan this is all for the weapons for now, I want to see technique books and talismans, pills and elixirs." after much thoughts master Zhang decided what he wanted to see for now, although he came prepared but he wasn’t sure whether the silvers he had on hand would be enough, so he had to get little of the needed ones first. Yanzhi hummed lazily and took them to another part of the shelves where the technique books and scrolls where. The technique books and scrolls in the treasure hall were the same as the ones in the library but for different purpose that the ones in the library could be read there but cannot be taken out while the ones in the treasure hall could be bought and owned as private properties, points are needed for both choices but the difference was that one needed a lot of points to buy and own while to just read was with a few points. They were all extremely overjoyed by the sights of the books and scrolls on the shelves. Yanzhi walked closer to the shelf and picked a few books and scrolls.

"Buy these ones too, you really need them. Seeing how you lack even the commonest knowledge, I’ve done you a favor and picked some important ones you badly need." His actions and words graceful, Yanzhi looked at them with the expectation of them thanking him for his thoughtfulness.

"I’m grateful to master Yan for his thoughtfulness." seeing his little thoughts, master Zhang resigned to his fate and thanked humbly. Yanzhi hummed in satisfactory thinking this little thing wasn’t all hopeless.

"This is a beginner guide to practicing martial arts, this is beginner guide on how to draw and refine runes and talismans, this is also a beginner guide on how to draw and refine formations and arrays and the last one ’The Thunder-splitting Technique’ once learned and comprehended well, one can feel and absorb abundant pure spiritual energy." he introduced all the books and scrolls he selected to them.

"M-master Yan, I’m really grateful for your help and guidance!" this time master Zhang was more earnest in thanking and looked to him gratefully.

"En." he hummed nonchalantly and handed over the techniques to master Zhang who took them and held them closely to his chest like treasures.

"Master Yan please recommend for me other ones too." he decided to leave selecting of the techniques to Yanzhi who was much knowledgeable.

"Master Yan please recommend for me too a sword technique." Yu also humbly requested and so did magistrate Huang.

Yanzhi didn’t see any harm in doing that so he decided to help these ignorant children and select techniques for them.

"How is your floating steps?" he asked while going through the shelves.

"It’s not much to talk about, Rank 4 and above martial artists are the ones capable of floating steps, I broke through Rank 4 not long and have yet to get my hands on floating steps techniques to practice." master Zhang sighed with heartache.

"I’m only at Rank 3 and incapable of floating steps."

Yu and Cheng Lin one a Rank 1 and the other Rank 2: "....." no words!

Yanzhi paused in what he was doing and snorted coldly, fools! He picked up and few more books and scrolls and returned to them.

"It seems my hard working in teaching you had gone to waste after only a little while. Didn’t I tell you that with internal force strength many things could be achieved, as long as your control of internal force strength is good and with good guidance. Here, a beginner floating steps technique to learn, you all can learn it." throwing the scrolls into master Zhang and magistrate Huang’s hands.
