The imperial city was in turmoil with the departure of Xiao Ling’s group. The noise made from their departure and with their numbers marching left people more skeptical about their group. And those that wanted to make friends with them were shocked and regretful to hear of their departure, many even presented King Pingxi’s residence and the imperial doctor Shi’s residence with gifts just to know where Yanzhi and Xiao Ling came from...but of course there was no way the location of Yanzhi would be disclosed, after offending Yanzhi already....both doctor Shi and Jinhua didn’t want to make any mistake that might affect their relationship more. Those ministers and official were by no means the only people in search of Yanzhi and Xiao Ling, the person who most wanted to find the couple was the emperor himself. That night after the emperor finished discussing with immortal Pei about their next plan against Yanzhi and his group, the empress who returned back to the palace was excited to present her space pouch which was gifted to her by Xiao Ling to the emperor. After knowing the capacity far exceed that of his space pouch, the emperor couldn’t sit still and wanted to pay a visit to King Pingxi’s residence at once...but the empress rejected his idea in the sense of it was very late and inappropriate at the time, and that the couple may be resting. After hearing of Yanzhi’s departure from King Pingxi the emperor threw a tantrum, accusing King Pingxi of planning treason against the royal family in keeping artifacts which are useful for the country for himself.

Yanzhi and Xiao Ling who had no knowledge of the events after their departure were unaffected....well even if they had knowledge of it, they would still be unbothered and unaffected. Days quickly went by with them hardly making stops on their journey back to the village. As they almost neared the neighbor villages which were a few hundred miles from their village, they could spot the peasant families working hard on their farms and harvesting autumn crops.

Yanzhi took out a blank talisman and made an inscription at a go without any stop using his fingers, as soon as he took back his hand at the end the talisman rose up covered in a white halo for a few seconds before it subsided and the inscription which he made turned into black ink on the talisman.

".....Xiang gong what is that for?" Xiao Ling who opened his eyes disturbed by the sensation of the blinding light while cultivating asked after blinking a couple of times.

But instead of answering his question, Yanzhi continued on making seals with his fingers. The talisman flew out of the window very fast after Yanzhi was done making the seals.

"A message talisman" with his gaze still on the flying talisman he answered to Xiao Ling’s question.

Xiao Ling knew at once where the message was being sent to, he sighed with regret thinking if only there were mobile phones. Unable to hold onto his thoughts he voiced it out to Yanzhi.

"Mobile phones? I see, we cultivators have similar artifacts like jade massage tokens which is activated using blood or soul force, it can be used for both massages and communication...but it’s a pity that I don’t have them. I could make them myself along with teleportation talismans, but the spiritual jade and jade token on hand are very little...hmm if only there was something to substitute.."

"Teleportation?..." Xiao Ling sounded shocked there, "Xiang gong what about the crystals from my mine? Wouldn’t those make up for the jade?" Xiao Ling quickly spoke cutting off Yanzhi who was lost in thoughts.

Upon hearing Xiao Ling’s suggestions, Yanzhi thought for a minute before saying "those might actually work, but it wouldn’t be as quality as using jade, we’ll trying searching around to see if we could get our hands on spiritual jade. There are jade mine’s here, probably getting spiritual jade wouldn’t be impossible since although this space is lacking qi, there’s still a little qi flow...." Yanzhi paused before continuing "we can also buy a jade mine and purify the qi flow in the mine, with a few spirit gathering arrays it wouldn’t be long before the jade mine turns into a spiritual jade mine."

"That will also work!" Xiao Ling spoke with full support to such thoughts, with the idea of owning their own personal spiritual jade mine made him excited, but what he was most excited about was refining a communication item and the teleportation talismans Yanzhi made mention of!

While Yanzhi and Xiao Ling continued to discuss of their plans for the future, Lin and the rest were in panicked states. The message talisman sent by Yanzhi found its way to Lin who was inspecting the construction of the ’Auction House’. Because of the autumn harvesting most of the villagers had stopped working at the construction site, because of that the construction of the auction house was a little lacking of foremen so Lin and his brothers and sisters had to spare a lot of time on the side to help out at the construction and at the same time cleaning their residence and the martial arts school.

Seeing the halo light stopping right in front of Lin, Feng and the rests who were closer to Lin stopped whatever thing they were doing at the moment and run to Lin.

"Senior brother Lin, is that a message talisman?" Mei Lin who being her first time actually seeing a message talisman asked with interest and curiosity.

"It’s from master..." Feng replied to her. "What does it say?" he turned towards Lin who was panick striken and at the same time looking forward to the message from their master.

"I have yet to activate it.." looking to the shining talisman suspended in the air, Lin answered a little dazed.

Seeing his guilty looking expression Feng couldn’t help but rolled his eyes, knowing that they couldn’t count on Lin to activate the message talisman...Feng went ahead and bit his finger and then traced the inscription on the talisman with his bloody fingers. Upon doing that the talisman began to eat away leaving a few words suspended in the sky.

"Clean up the courtyard of your mistress and I and prepare to receive us, take care of your courtyard for your sisters and brother. And have the servants arrange a few rooms at the servants courtyard, we will be arriving soon!"

They all read the message before the writings dissipated from the air. Rubbing his browns feeling a little down, Lin released a bad air thinking it wouldn’t be long before master comes to settle accounts with regarding the little trouble....erh actually big trouble he has caused. Ever since he bluntly showed off his martial arts at the little competition with master Zhang’s disciples, the village youths in the village have been stopping them always and pleading to be taught martial arts and their master’s and mistress’s families are regular visitors...always demanding to know of their returns, things had been quite hectic and it was surely going to be bad when their master comes back to meet this troubles.

"Mei Lin, call unto uncle Feng and aunt Feng to residence. And Feng call unto your little helpers and the rest of the guards who are available now, let’s go and deal with things at home by the end of today before master and mistress returns. By the sound of things it seems we have a lot of guests coming."

Lin quickly instructed decisively, as the senior disciple amongst them when Yue wasn’t around, he was in charge.

"Yes!"

Feng and Mei Lin cupped respectfully and went on to do what was instructed of them.

"You and I should head there first and wait for the rest" after saying that he took the lead and Baihu quickly followed.

Because their voices were lowered to only themselves and the talisman couldn’t be seen by others without cultivation, no one except them knew of Yanzhi’s and Xiao Ling’s journey back. So the villagers and workers were all focused on their works, leaving Lin and the rest to also carry out with the instructions from Yanzhi with peace of mind.

But it was unknown to both Yanzhi and Xiao Ling that that peace they so were looking forward to back at the village was soon to be disrupted, because almost all the villagers and even people from the county were seeking them out...even without doing anything themselves, but with the strength shown by his disciples, people already revered Yanzhi to be a very powerful martial artist with powerful internal strength. With such terrifying internal strength displayed by his disciples, surely the master himself was far more stronger in the arts of internal strength.
