Transmigrated as a Villain, the Heroines’ Personas Have Collapsed
Chapter 22 - Lin Ziyu Returns, the Killer Loli

Chapter 22: Lin Ziyu Returns, the Killer Loli

After Ye Bai was thrown out, Lin Tai left the Lu estate under Lu Ziyan’s resentful gaze.

Back home, he felt physically and mentally drained. Lu Ziyan’s plot had once again veered into unexpected territory.

The plotline had collapsed again.

Lin Tai couldn’t fathom what was wrong with Lu Ziyan. Everything had been on track, yet she’d diverged completely from her past life.

And what was this “seven-day boyfriend” nonsense?

It was absurd! A power fantasy heroine picking a supporting character as a fake boyfriend—how bizarre!

“Xiao Tai, come here,” Lin Zhentian called as Lin Tai entered the house.

“Dad, what’s up?” Lin Tai sat on the sofa. Hecate brought him tea, and he was surprised to see she’d reverted to her usual attire.

Was she really wearing that maid outfit just for him?

“I’ve got good news. Ziyu will be back at the latest by the day after tomorrow. We’re planning a welcome party, and as her brother, you should prepare properly.”

As a father, Lin Zhentian was overjoyed at his daughter’s early return, longing to have his children by his side.

“Dad, you think this is good news for me?” Lin Tai rolled his eyes, though his mind raced with panic.

Oh no, even Lin Ziyu was acting strange now?

According to the plot, Lin Ziyu was supposed to return next year to take over the Lin Group.

There was even a subplot at the welcome party.

Her early return threw that into question—would that plot still play out?

Lin Tai was speechless. Every move these heroines made triggered major shifts in Emperor’s Return.

With them straying further from the script, he was getting a headache.

“How is it not good news? She’s your sister—can’t you two get along? She even sent you a gift for your birthday three days ago,” Lin Zhentian sighed, puzzled by their lifelong discord.

He remembered when they were young, Lin Ziyu cared for Lin Tai. And Lin Tai, though reserved, always stood up for her when she was bullied, even taking the fall for her mischief.

But as they grew, their bond frayed.

Three years ago, Lin Ziyu suddenly asked to study abroad to improve her management skills, which Lin Zhentian gladly supported, hoping she’d lead the Lin Group.

Her departure severed ties with Lin Tai completely.

This rift was his constant worry.

“It’s because she sent me a gift that I’m wary. A weasel wishing a chicken well—can she have good intentions?” Lin Tai stood and headed upstairs. Lin Ziyu’s sudden return made Emperor’s Return’s plot increasingly murky.

But it wasn’t his problem. He was just a vicious supporting character—his job was to finish his own arc.

Whatever changes hit Emperor’s Return, that was the Heavenly Dao’s headache, not his.

In his room, Lin Tai booted up his computer and logged into QQ.

His QQ had no real-world friends, making it his safe space to be himself without risking exposure.

A familiar contact messaged him.

The profile pic was a cute, dark loli—small and alluring. She called herself Qiesiya.

Lin Tai had added her while browsing online, though he’d forgotten how. From their chats, she seemed like a young girl—somewhat extreme but childlike in tone.

Her personality had a yandere streak, her ideas often chilling Lin Tai to the bone.

Despite her apparent youth, her methods were deviously cunning. Noticing her possible mental issues, Lin Tai had kindly tried to guide her.

It nearly backfired, pushing him toward a dark path himself. Thankfully, his resolve held.

Over time, they’d become good friends, sharing everything online.

[Dear Lin, we might meet soon.]

In a speeding car across the Middle Eastern wilderness, Qiesiya’s fingers danced. Dozens of video feeds monitored the battlefield, but one screen was dedicated to her QQ messages.

[What’s up? Not assassinating tycoons in the Middle East anymore?]

Lin Tai replied, exasperated. Qiesiya, his online friend, might have delusions—a kid claiming to be a killer in the Middle East.

[Our boss is calling us back. You’ll see me then.]

Qiesiya hadn’t expected to reunite with him. If not for her rebirth …

“Qiesiya, target eliminated. There was a hiccup—plot a new escape route,” a voice, Xila, crackled through her earpiece, interrupting her chat.

[Dear Lin, I’ll be in China within five days max. Can you meet me? I’ve got to go.]

“Straight ahead, take the narrow path. Turn right—three sentries. Avoid them …” Qiesiya shifted into work mode, her eyes locked on the shifting screens, guiding her team to safety.
