Chapter 652: Chapter 532: One Night, Three Shooting Incidents, Five Lives Lost_2
Shunzi, feeling a bit guilty and embarrassed just moments before, suddenly exploded upon hearing those words. She abruptly lifted her head and shrieked, "Why should I! I never forced you to spend on me, it was all voluntary. Can’t we part on good terms? You’re really disappointing me."
I can agree to a breakup, but paying you back is out of the question.
"The premise of my spending on you was that I saw you as my future wife. Since you don’t consider yourself my wife, naturally you should pay me back! Besides, your current attitude is really disappointing me," the young man said firmly.
"Idiot! How did I never realize you were this kind of person?" Shunzi trembled with rage, grinding her teeth as she spoke, "I used to have some reluctance to leave you, but now I see my parents were right. You were never good enough for me, always so petty. It’s a good thing I broke up with you early. Marrying you would have been disastrous!"
If it were now, a post would go up in a heartbeat: "Girls, who knows? My ex-boyfriend is such a shrimp head, asking for money back after we broke up..."
"Repay the money," Mitsuo sternly repeated.
"Oh, please! This is ridiculous, I’ve never even heard of someone asking for money spent during a relationship after breaking up! You’re just like your dead parents, always so calculating," Shunzi’s mother mocked coldly from the side.
She and Mitsuo Mutou’s parents were coworkers, which was how Shunzi had known Mitsuo Mutou since childhood.
Shunzi’s dad violently pushed Mitsuo, grabbing his collar and bellowed, "You still want money? I think you’re asking for a beating. Get the hell out of here! Don’t ever come back to my house, or I’ll break your legs!"
Mitsuo was slim, and he staggered a bit when the robust dad of Shunzi grabbed his collar. His eyes flickered with a vicious gleam as he decisively pulled out a gun and aimed it at his head.
"Trying to scare someone with a toy gun? Do I not know about your lack of guts?" Shunzi’s dad scoffed disdainfully, grabbing the muzzle and pointing it at his own forehead, "Come on, shoot me dead."
"Bang!"
The next second, a gunshot sounded. Shunzi’s dad’s finger, placed before the muzzle, was blown off, blood splattered, and the bullet entered the forehead leaving a bloody hole. His body instantly fell backward.
Thump! Nearly 400 pounds hit the floor.
Blood, warm and crimson, stained the faces of Shunzi and her mother, who were momentarily stunned, then both showed horrified and pale expressions.
"Bang!"
Mitsuo Mutou, his face twisted with ferocity, fired again.
Shunzi’s mother was shot in the chest. Her body staggered back against the door frame, she covered her wound and slowly slid to the ground, her eyes despairing and fearful as she looked at Mitsuo.
"Ah!" Shunzi screamed, turning and running into the house, yelling, "Murder! Murder!"
Mitsuo stepped over the bodies of Shunzi’s parents, striding briskly into the house and fired at Shunzi’s retreating figure.
"Bang!"
Just as Shunzi was about to run upstairs, her body lost control and she fell forward, her chin hitting the stairs and knocking out two teeth, blood continuously spilled from the corner of her mouth.
Even so, she painfully turned around, her face full of pleading as she looked at Mitsuo Mutou, "Don’t kill me! Please, please don’t kill me, I’ll marry you, I..."
"Bang, bang, bang!"
Mitsuo Mutou was a man of few words.
With three successive gunshots, Shunzi’s face was blown to bits, her voice also abruptly stopped.
"You don’t have to marry me. I know whom you want to marry. I’ll arrange a ghost marriage for you both," Mitsuo Mutou said breathlessly, then turned and left.
As he walked away, he unloaded his magazine to check.
Three bullets left.
Enough to kill one more person.
Shunzi had suggested breaking up because a wealthy heir had pursued her at school. Mitsuo Mutou had discovered this, leading him to utter despair, making him take this irreversible path tonight.
He could accept a breakup, but he couldn’t accept her cheating and breaking up without paying him back. Losing love was one thing, but losing money too—that would drive anyone crazy!
Especially since, with his parents deceased, he had come to see his lover as his sole pillar of support.
He hailed a cab and dashed to the next target.
About ten minutes later, the police from White Stone District Station arrived at the shooting scene after receiving a call from the neighbors.
As the police were nonchalantly setting up the crime scene tape, Mitsuo Mutou stepped out of his car in front of a small detached villa and rang the doorbell.
"Ding-dong! Ding-dong!"
Shortly after, a person dressed like a nanny came to the door and asked, "Hello, who are you looking for?"
"I’m looking for Mr. Nozawa; please tell him that Miss Shunzi sent me to deliver something," Mitsuo Mutou said, his smile faint, his tone calm.
Having killed four people already, he had lost his initial nervousness and excitement, now more composed.
Perhaps this was a kind of talent that had gone unused until now, only coming to light when needed.
"Hi! Please wait just a moment."
The nanny sized up Mitsuo Mutou, didn’t invite him in, closed the door, and left. After about a minute or two, the door opened again, and this time a young man in a suit ,good-looking, stepped out.
He was Shunzi’s affair partner, Nozawa Naoki.
"What did Shunzi send you to give me?" Nozawa Naoki hadn’t met Mitsuo Mutou, so he didn’t recognize him.
Mitsuo Mutou looked at him and asked, "Mr. Nozawa, you know Shunzi has a boyfriend, right?"
It seemed like a question, but the tone was decidedly assertive.
"Huh." Nozawa Naoki laughed a bit, having caught on, and sizing up the man in front of him who seemed inferior in every aspect, nodded, "I know, it’s you, right? What, did you come here to ask me to leave her, or to blame me for ruining your relationship?"
Mitsuo Mutou stared at him without responding.
"First, you two aren’t married; I have the right to a fair competition; second, if she really loved you, she wouldn’t have been swayed by me so easily; lastly, if you really loved her, you should let her go and let her have a better life with me. That’s it, you can leave now."
Nozawa Naoki, full of arrogance, dismissed these words and turned to close the door.
If it wasn’t for stealing the other’s girlfriend, wasting another word with such an inferior person was simply a waste of time.
"Bang!"
The gunshot rang out unexpectedly.
He was shot in the back of the head, fell dead on the spot, and a pool of dark blood slowly seeped onto the floor.
"First, we had established a relationship and hadn’t broken up, you had no right to fair competition; second, you’re right; lastly, go to hell!"
Mitsuo Mutou, from his higher stance, looked down at Nozawa Naoki’s body, dropped these words, and turned to stride away.
His silhouette was more upright and dashing than ever before, as if he had completely shed some constraints.
"Ah! Mr. Nozawa! Mr. Nozawa!"
Panicked cries of the nanny came from behind him.
Because he maintained the initiative, Mitsuo Mutou was always one step ahead of the police, who arrived at the villa long after he had already left the scene.
One night.
Three shootings.
Five lives.
This was the initial success of Mr. Aoyama secretly bringing the winds of freedom and democracy from the United States to Hokkaido.
