Chapter 636: Chapter 521: Past Events, When the Simian-like Primates Shone (Vote for Monthly Ticket)

"My son is someone whom my wife and I adopted from an orphanage more than twenty years ago, yet he is also related to me by blood," Nakai Feiniao disclosed, nearly frying Aoyama Xiu Xin’s CPU on the spot.

Before Aoyama Xiu Xin could express his confusion, Nakai Feiniao continued to speak unabated, "My wife was infertile due to physical reasons, and knowing this, I still resolutely married her, earning the appreciation of my father-in-law and subsequently enjoying a smooth sailing political career."

"As for my child, he’s the fruit of my affair. To ensure he could legitimately call me ’Dad’ and grow up as the child of a politician, I arranged to have him sent to an orphanage, then specifically picked him out when my wife and I went to adopt a child."

"I see," Aoyama Xiu Xin had to admit that Nakai Feiniao was clever, and he logically surmised, "You killed your wife because she discovered this, right?"

He could imagine how desperate Mrs. Nakai must have felt, thinking that Nakai Feiniao married her despite knowing about her infertility out of love, only to find out he had cheated and fathered a child with another woman.

The blow was no less devastating than a thunderbolt.

Nakai Feiniao nodded calmly.

"Indeed, as the child grew older and began to resemble me, my wife grew suspicious. Nine years ago was when DNA paternity testing became available abroad. My wife learned about this during a conversation with friends, secretly collected samples from me and the child and sent them abroad for comparison."

"The night she received the report, she confronted me emotionally, threatening to expose my infidelity to the public and have her father take revenge on me. In a moment of panic, I killed her with a fruit knife."

"You should have read about what happened next in the case files," Nakai Feiniao said, glancing at Aoyama Xiu Xin. Seeing no denial, he skipped ahead, "Even though that video can’t prove I committed the murder, it does show I lied. If the police found other leads and coordinated them with the video, it would serve as strong evidence of my guilt, so I had to destroy it! Both as a precaution and in hope that the only clue being gone would make the police give up their investigation."

"The ones hustling on the front lines of this case were Sakurai Ze and Ishida Koyun, who first arrived at the scene after the crime. Initially, I thought of bribing Sakurai Ze because his sister needed money for her treatment."

"But then I thought, if he really could abandon his principles to become a corrupt cop, how come his sister’s illness lacked the funds for treatment after all these years? So I shifted my focus to bribing Ishida Koyun. He isn’t particularly greedy, but he’s very ambitious."

At this point, Nakai Feiniao couldn’t help but laugh, pulling out a cigarette from the pack and looking up at Aoyama Xiu Xin across from him, "You don’t mind, do you?"

"Go ahead," Aoyama Xiu Xin gestured with a wave of his hand.

Nakai Feiniao took a drag, lit up, and slowly exhaled a puff of smoke, his eyes filled with reminiscence, "Do you know what Ishida Koyun’s reaction was when I tried to bribe him with money? He threw it in my face, assertively stating he wasn’t like those corrupt cops and swore he would find evidence to bring me to justice."

"As he turned to leave, I told him that if he helped me destroy the recording, I could support his career. He stopped, sat back down after a brief moment of hesitation and struggle."

"Once he sat back down, he lost the pride and composure he had before me, becoming timorous and subservient. Ha, you should have seen the look on his face then, you would have laughed."

Nakai Feiniao began chuckling to himself, flicking ashes as he continued, "Eventually, the very person who pointed at me and vowed to bring me to justice lured Sakurai Ze into the evidence room, killed him, and framed him for destroying the video, all while clearing his own name. With my help, and the patronage of Fujimoto Takayoshi, he rose rapidly through the ranks."

"But I only covered for him for three years, after all, I too was kicked out of politics three years later."

Nakai Feiniao sneered in self-mockery.

"However, the man’s quite twisted; he’s trying to have the best of both worlds. Now that he’s climbed up the ranks, he wants to sever ties with me completely, as if by ignoring me he can erase his unsavory deeds."

"Do you have any evidence to prove that Ishida Koyun was bribed by you?" Aoyama Xiu Xin asked calmly.

"No," Nakai Feiniao shook his head and took another puff before saying, "If you have evidence, I can turn myself in and testify against him, but I have none."

Aoyama Xiu Xin stared intently into his eyes.

Nakai Feiniao returned the gaze without a hint of guilt.

"Fine," Aoyama Xiu Xin looked away and nodded, "I will find the evidence. Before I do, your son will be safe. Once I’ve gathered the evidence to put you both away, your son will naturally be released. Rest assured, I keep my word."

With that, he stood up and left.

Whether he could find evidence now depended on the surveillance footage in Sakurai Riri’s room at the psychiatric hospital.

Aoyama Xiu Xin felt that Mikuriya Shouta’s analysis was reasonable, and considering Nakai Feiniao also said Ishida Koyun was twisted, the guilt he harbored for Sakurai Ze might just lead him to confess to Sakurai Riri.

Capturing that would be a self-confession.

After parting ways with Nakai Feiniao, Aoyama Xiu Xin did not go home but instead took a car to Ueda Hanon’s.

This place used to be known as the Hattori Family.

"Ding-dong! Ding-dong!"

Aoyama Xiu Xin raised his hand and pressed the doorbell.

Moments later, the door opened. Ueda Hanon, dressed in a black mourning outfit but with no trace of sorrow on her face, only appeared increasingly radiant and beautiful.

"Mr. Aoyama," she greeted with a slight bow.

Aoyama Xiu Xin returned her bow formally and said, "Mrs. Hattori, my condolences."

Ueda Hanon rolled her eyes, my husband’s death isn’t unrelated to you, "Please come in."

With that, she turned and entered the house on her own.

"Hi!" Aoyama Xiu Xin followed close behind, admiring her hourglass figure with its perfect waist-to-hip ratio, each sway catching at his heartstrings.

Hattori Si’s portrait had already been set up in the living room.

Aoyama Xiu Xin approached and offered incense.

Take care on your journey, brother-in-law.

Ueda Hanon plopped down on the sofa, casually removed her hair tie, and the hair she’d pulled up cascaded down like a waterfall. Crossing her legs, she rocked her little feet clad in white socks back and forth and looked sideways at Aoyama Xiu Xin, "Did you come just to offer him incense?"

"Besides offering him incense, I also came to sleep with you," Aoyama Xiu Xin admitted straightforwardly.

Hearing such blunt words, Ueda Hanon’s cheeks reddened as she spat, "Don’t talk nonsense. My daughter is sleeping upstairs. Not tonight, maybe some other time at a hotel."

"It’s fine, we’ll just keep it down," Aoyama Xiu Xin moved closer, sat beside her, pulled her into his embrace, and gently played with one of her delicate feet. The socks were so thin they barely hid the fullness of her flesh, "I’m here now, so you can’t just send me back like this, can you? Besides, you’ve just lost your husband, you must be feeling empty inside. I can help fill that void."

"I really can’t today, I was too busy dealing with mourners at the funeral home, I’m exhausted," Ueda Hanon said wearily, wriggling her body.

Aoyama Xiu Xin just pressed her down onto the sofa, "Perfect, I’ll help you loosen up those shin bones."

Ueda Hanon wasn’t in the mood, but Aoyama Xiu Xin was skillful and smooth-talking, and soon she was aroused, chattering endlessly. In the end, she was overwhelmed by her desires once more.

"I’m leaving." Aoyama Xiu Xin, having made himself presentable, leaned over and kissed Ueda Hanon on the cheek.

Ueda Hanon was spent, lying disheveled on the sofa, with a vacant and confused look in her eyes, and her little feet in white socks dropped powerlessly to the floor, giving no reaction to Aoyama Xiu Xin’s goodbye.

Several minutes after Aoyama Xiu Xin had left, she finally gathered her senses. She clumsily got up, dressed herself, and staggered upstairs, planning to take a shower and then go to sleep.

"Mommy."

Her daughter’s sudden appearance gave her a fright.

"Ai... Aizi, what’s wrong?" She asked, looking at her daughter groggy-eyed around the corner of the stairs.

Hattori Aizi rubbed her eyes, looking puzzled, "I thought I heard Mommy crying, and you kept calling for Daddy. Did Grandpa come?"

Clearly, the noise from downstairs was too loud.

"Ah!" Ueda Hanon felt embarrassed, ashamed, and guilty upon hearing this and stuttered her response, "Mommy... Mommy was crying because she misses your father so much, you think of Daddy when you are sad, and so does Mommy. So Mommy was calling for Daddy while she cried."

"Daddy." At the mention of her father, Hattori Aizi’s eyes reddened, and she lunged to hug Ueda Hanon, "Don’t cry Mommy, you still have Aizi."

Ueda Hanon was filled with a myriad of thoughts, continuously stroking her daughter’s head, a hint of guilt flashing in her eyes.

She really was a bad mother.

...

Time quickly reached Saturday.

Despite it being a day off, Ishida Koyun still got up early, dressed carefully, said goodbye to his wife and kid, and headed to the mental hospital.

"Mr. Ishida is here again, you come every week, you really are a kind person."

The gatekeeper of the mental hospital recognized Ishida Koyun by now, opened the gate for him, and complimented him.

"It’s a habit. I wouldn’t know what to do with myself if I didn’t come." Ishida Koyun smiled gracefully, further impressing the security guard.

After parking his car, Ishida Koyun proficiently picked up some tools and joined the other volunteers in cleaning.

After finishing his chores, he headed straight for Sakurai Riri’s ward.

"Bro... Brother."

Seeing him, Sakurai Riri’s eyes lit up, and she instinctively wanted to greet him, but she stopped, timid, with a conflicted look on her face—happy yet fearful.

At twenty-three years old, her intelligence was that of a five- or six-year-old child, but she was pretty with a good figure that even her hospital gown couldn’t hide.

Without Ishida Koyun, her looks might have brought her much misfortune in the mental hospital.

"Riri, come here, I brought you some candy."

Ishida Koyun locked the door behind him, a gentle smile on his face as he pulled out a handful of sweets from his pocket.

"Candy! Candy! I want candy!"

Sakurai Riri threw aside her teddy bear and ran over eagerly, waiting for him to distribute the sweets.

Looking at the beautiful, sexy Sakurai Riri in front of him, with her innocent, unblemished eyes, Ishida Koyun was filled with a desire to vent. He grabbed her roughly and pinned her against the wall, tearing off her clothes and pants.

Sakurai Riri looked somewhat afraid, but her body responded adeptly to him. She glanced back at him from time to time, seemingly eager for his approval, and whenever Ishida Koyun praised her, she smiled and worked even harder.

Ishida Koyun yanked her hair, forcibly violating her, venting all the negative emotions he had accumulated over the week on her.

After they were finished, he lay contentedly on Sakurai Riri’s bed, and she, with tears still marking her face, cuddled in his arms like a docile puppy.

She had gotten used to it since seven years ago.

"Every time I think I’m about to forget, that idiot Nakai Feiniao always pops up, reminding me over and over about how I killed your brother to get promoted. He really should disappear!" Ishida Koyun muttered to himself while stroking Sakurai Riri’s face.

Sakurai Riri didn’t understand, but she gazed up at him with wide, watery eyes, then revealed a sweet smile.

Ishida Koyun smiled too. It was only in front of Sakurai Riri that he dared to say anything. Every visit to the mental hospital was when he felt most relaxed, body and soul.

What he didn’t know was that a camera inside the light fixture above was recording everything that had just transpired.
