As everyone drew closer, they saw Gu Fan awkwardly clambering out of the giant sea snake’s mouth, managing to save himself.

"Man, you’re something else! You even managed to take down such a big guy, I’m in awe..." Lu Yi was eager to give Gu Fan a big hug, but the stench on Gu Fan made him stop in his tracks.

Leng Le covered his mouth and said, "Gu Fan, you stink. Go wash up."

Gu Fan was a little peeved, "What are you guys talking about? I was doing this for everyone, I nearly lost my life, and you’re not even going to give me a hug?"

"We’d be happy to hug you, but now is not the right time. And besides, I don’t particularly enjoy getting cosy with a man." Ouyang Jin also declined, but Gu Fan ignored that and lunged forward to hug everyone.

Everyone dodged him, except for Leng Le who grabbed his nose and said, "Try hugging your ex-girlfriend, I bet you’re afraid your current girlfriend would lose her temper and zap you with some lightning."

Hearing this, Gu Fan could only give a sheepish grin. "Alright, enough messing around. Let’s hurry up and leave."

Now that they had killed the giant sea snake, they felt relatively safe. But Gu Fan still insisted on everyone being on guard, afraid another sea snake might suddenly appear.

As they proceeded, they suddenly saw a stone statue ahead of them in the shape of a person. As they got closer, they realized it was Lisa!

"Haven’t we seen this stone before?" Lu Yi was confused, wondering whether they had been moving in circles.

Gu Fan frowned and touched the stone statue of Lisa, finding the resemblance uncanny. Who could have produced such a lifelike sculpture?

Suddenly, a crack appeared on the statue’s forehead. The crack spread across the surface like a spider’s web, bewildering everyone.

"Gu Fan, what did you do to this statue?" Lu Yi asked.

"It’s just a statue, what could I have done? I only touched it." Gu Fan had a bad feeling and aimed his gun at the crumbling statue.

Leng Le suggested, "Should we leave right now? We should not stay here too long."

Gu Fan agreed, only to see a human mouth where the statue had crumbled. It wasn’t made of stone at all.

"What happened?" Everyone was puzzled, but Gu Fan had a vague idea.

Another part of the statue had crumbled, revealing half of Lisa’s sleeping face.

"You’ve got to be kidding me. This statue IS Lisa?" Everyone panicked; none of them had the power to deal with this female devil. The only option seemed to be to get away while Lisa remains unknowing.

At this moment, five horn blasts were heard, making all of them nervous. This was a warning from Lin Xi, indicating that the island was sinking.

"We need to leave!" As Gu Fan finished speaking, Lisa’s eyes opened, her gaze settling on the panicking Gu Fan.

Lisa seemed surprised to see Gu Fan there, quickly composed herself, and a malicious light twinkled in her eyes.

"Sorry for interrupting, we’ll leave now. Gu Fan immediately turned to leave, not daring to meet Lisa’s gaze.

Just then, they noticed that the surrounding fog had lifted, giving them a clearer view. This confirmed the sinking of the island.

As they progressed, they found water rushing in from the sea, forcing them to retreat.

Lu Yi was startled, "The island is sinking too fast!"

Gu Fan shook his head, "It must have started sinking a while ago, Lin Xi and the others only discovered it later because of the fog."

"What should we do now?" Ouyang Jin was worried. They were surrounded by sea snakes and wandering sea ghosts; they wouldn’t be able to hold on until Lin Xi came to their aid.

The seawater rose further, forcing everyone to retreat. They were back next to Lisa’s statue, which was shattering, revealing parts of her face, neck, and shoulders, but she still couldn’t move a muscle.

The murderous look in Lisa’s eyes made everyone tense, knowing that the vicinity must be infested with wandering sea ghosts. Not only that, they saw many sea snakes in the rushing seawater. More of the creatures were also slithering in from the forests behind, leaving Gu Fan and company in a predicament.

"Are you kidding me? We’re surrounded!" Despair welled up in everyone; they couldn’t escape under these circumstances.

Lisa suddenly whistled and the sea snakes retreated as if obeying a command.

Lisa chuckled, "I won’t waste you all on feeding the sea snakes. I’ll drain each one of you dry. Especially you, Gu Fan, I’ll take you first."

"I understand why you hate Gu Fan so much. If I were you, I would too. But this is a personal grudge between you two. Let us go,", Lu Yi pleaded, making pathetic faces. He was nearly ready to kneel down before Lisa.

"Keep dreaming. Once I can move, you’ll see what happens", Lisa wore an unbending expression, frightening everyone.

Suddenly Gu Fan had an idea. He walked up to Lisa and stared intently at her, leaving Lisa perplexed and her murderous look softened.

Lisa demanded angrily, "What are you looking at?"

Not answering, Gu Fan continued to inspect Lisa’s beautiful face. Lisa grew agitated, "If you keep staring, I’ll gouge your eyes out!"

"So beautiful yet so brutal", Gu Fan marvelled, "I’ve never been with a foreign woman before, wonder how it would be." Saying that, Gu Fan reached out and gently touched Lisa’s face.

"Wow, Lisa your skin is so soft", Gu Fan was genuinely appreciating her beauty. Lisa, enflamed, snapped, "Take your dirty hands off me!"

"Why should I? I rather like it this way." Gu Fan grinned malevolently, jesting with Lisa’s lips. It seemed like fiery sparks were about to fly from Lisa’s eyes.

Everyone was speechless at Gu Fan’s antics, especially Lu Yi who didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, "Can you stop fooling around? This island is about to sink into the sea, if we don’t come up with something now..."

Just as he said this, another part of the statue crumbled. Lisa threateningly told Gu Fan, "You can gloat all you want for now. Wait till later and see how I deal with you. I promise you’ll wish you were dead."
