Qiao Ya immediately objected, "No, we shouldn’t take on more than we can handle until our mission is complete."

The pirate leader responded firmly, "Don’t worry, I’ll help you complete your mission. But we absolutely can’t let those guys go."

Seeing the pirate leader so adamant, Qiao Ya had nothing more to say and only sighed silently in response.

Not long after, the pirate leader, with all his men, set off for another pirate gang to gather news. As expected, it was Gu Fan and his crew causing trouble again.

All things considered, a total of three pirate gangs in the central region of the Triangle Sea Area had suffered at the hands of Gu Fan and his crew. This was an affront to the pirates who had always thought they ruled these waters.

Su Lei agreed, "They are unusual indeed. You’ve heard what the pirates said, that Gu Fan brought back a monster that bullets can’t kill. Do you really believe that?"

Su Lei interjected, "Our mission is not to deal with Gu Fan and his crew. We don’t necessarily have to clash with them. If we can avoid them, we should."

Qiao Ya pointed out the main issue, took a glance at the pirates behind him and began to question the stability of their operations, even considering whether to stop their mission.

After weighing his options, just to be safe, Qiao Ya made a phone call and described their current situation. The feedback from his superiors was that opportunities are fleeting, so the mission needed to be completed first and the other issues could be handled later.

"It looks like we have to go all in," Qiao Ya concluded. Dong Ni then replied with a carefree look, "Sure, we didn’t come here for nothing."

Su Lei scorned, "Look at you! All excited."

"What?" Dong Ni was perplexed. Seeing Qiao Ya and Su Lei so serious, he felt a little uneasy.

Su Lei added, "After accomplishing the mission, we will also expose our whereabouts. What do you think our superiors will do to ensure our safety?"

Hearing this, Dong Ni finally realized, "If I were them, I’d probably cut off our line of communication. This way, no one could trace us back to the benefactor behind us."

"Exactly, that’s what I’m most worried about." Qiao Ya gritted his teeth in frustration. He had no choice but to carry out the commands from above. However, he was unsure about the consequences.
