Oh yeah~ Hmm hmm hmm~ ... After Leng Le screamed for a while, her throat feeling like it was getting dry, she glared contemptuously at the seeming unfazed Gu Fan, who looked like he was about to nod off.

Leng Le, fuming, had been acting her heart out; even back when she had been with Gu Fan, she had never made such sounds. Today, for the sake of Gu Fan’s pride, she had screamed for a full thirty minutes.

Leng Le decisively threw her pillow at Gu Fan, jolting him awake.

"What’s the matter, what happened?" Gu Fan looked around in confusion, then realized that nothing was amiss.

In anger, Leng Le asked, "Why did you let me act alone, why didn’t you join in?"

In response, Gu Fan reasoned, "The main thing is they want to hear you shout. They’re not interested in my noise, so it doesn’t matter whether I join in."

Pointing at Gu Fan’s nose, Leng Le muttered accusingly, "Were you doing it on purpose? Are you playing me?"

"How could it be? I genuinely wanted to help you. The only thing I could think of in that situation was this", Gu Fan answered innocently, making it seem like his act of goodwill was going unappreciated.

Leng Le, struggling to keep her anger under wraps, said earnestly, "Fine, in the heat of the moment, I won’t argue with you. Now, we’re somewhat relaxed, so please think of another way. My throat is practically smoking from all that shouting."

"Okay, no problem, I’ll think of another one." After saying that, Gu Fan adopted a thoughtful expression and closing his eyes in contemplation, promptly fell asleep.

This time, Leng Le couldn’t help but snap, "Get up! Did you think this is the end? If you don’t satisfy me today, you won’t be sleeping in peace!" Finished, she began thrashing Gu Fan with her pillow.

Outside, Lisa, upon hearing this commotion, couldn’t help but admire, "Who would have thought, this woman is so fierce, which man could handle her?"

Half an hour later, Gu Fan stumbled out of the room, tripping unsteadily and drawing strange looks from everyone around him.

Gu Fan overheard people whispering, "His legs are that soft already, are all men these days this useless?"

This was an insult to his manly pride! Gu Fan wanted to explain himself but in the end, he let it go, resigning himself to provide amusement for the others. He even considered pretending to suffer from back pain.

Just then, Lisa offered Gu Fan to join her, pouring him a glass of red wine and invited him to drink with her.

Eyeing the glass of wine, Gu Fan hesitated, "I may ask, given that you guys have lived for over a millennium, all your wine must have been drunk a long time ago. So, where is this coming from? Is it an illusion?"

"You can rest assured this is not an illusion. When we boarded some ships, we managed to get it", Lisa said, before she took a sip from her glass and proceeded to observe Gu Fan with interest.

Gu Fan smile softly, taking a sip and finding the taste quite good.

Lisa then asked, "I find it odd, everyone we’ve captured trembles with fear when they see us, yet you appear unperturbed."

"The reason probably is that I have experienced similar situations in my past...", Gu Fan shared some of his past adventure experiences; encounters with wolf packs, sandstorms, avalanches but deliberately leaving out parts about immortality, and the ancient Super Civilization.

Listening to Gu Fan describe his vivid adventures, Lisa believed that he was not making it up, and did not believe Gu Fan had anything to hide or that he posed a threat.

After some more small talk, Lisa expressed that she had things to do and excused herself, however she warned Gu Fan not to try to escape or his companions would be in danger. Additionally, he would lose Lisa’s trust.

Gu Fan reassured her, arguing that with the endless sea around him, there was nowhere for him to escape to. He did not plan to do anything foolish, Lisa was asked to be at ease.

Lisa expressed her admiration for Gu Fan once again, before taking her leave.

Once Lisa stepped away, Gu Fan furrowed his eyebrows, pretending to drink his wine and admire the scenery while surreptitiously observing the two women in traditional Eastern attire. They were from the Shennv Xuanhui.

This was a rare opportunity to gather intelligence, as once Lin Xi and the Boss barged in, it would be chaos and such opportunities would disappear.

When Gu Fan noticed that the two ladies were looking his way, he raised his wine glass in salutation.

The two Eastern women faltered a moment, then resolutely ignored Gu Fan.

To avoid unnecessary suspicion, Gu Fan didn’t immediately approach them. Instead, he carried on drinking his wine and enjoying the view. After a while, bored out of his mind, he got up and walked towards the two Eastern-dressed women.

He greeted them, "Hello, I am Gu Fan. Given your attire, it seems we come from the same place, though we clearly didn’t arrive at the same time."

One of the women nodded, "That’s correct. You just arrived, as for us, we’ve lost track of how long we’ve been here. It’s probably been centuries."

About this, Gu Fan answered in surprise, "Turns out you’ve been here for so long. Well, you could say we’re all fellow countrymen. There’s an old saying, when fellow countrymen meet, their eyes become teary."

The two Eastern-dressed woman didn’t react much, they had a hunch that Gu Fan was getting close to them with ulterior motives in mind.

Puzzled, Gu Fan asked, "I don’t quite understand, given our modern sailing technology, we were able to come to the Triangle Sea Area which is so far away. But how did you manage? In ancient times, sailing technology wasn’t advanced. How did you know about the Triangle Sea Area, and how did you come this far?"

"We’d rather not say, it’s a past best forgotten", the two Eastern-dressed women clearly didn’t want to talk about that topic, finding it distasteful.

Gu Fan didn’t intend on giving up and proceeded to ask, "I heard from Lisa that you were a part of something called the Shennv Xuanhui. What kind of organization was it? Was it formed because of women’s low status in ancient times, as an effort to strive for equality?"

"Oh, you guessed right. Yes, those were the principles upon which the Shennv Xuanhui was formed", the two Eastern-dressed women were amazed, they hadn’t expected Gu Fan to guess it correctly.

Gu Fan continued, "What is the Shennv Xuanhui doing here in the Triangle Sea Area? Since the sentiment around male preference over females at home was too difficult to change, did you hope to inhabit an island here and establish a kingdom of women? Although, you have moved quite far."

The two Eastern-dressed ladies laughed lightly, "Kingdom of women, we’ve indeed never considered it. But your suggestion isn’t bad."
