Lin Xi and Yang Xinran together headed toward the school’s security room. However, fearful of encountering the others on the way, Yang Xinran suggested taking a dark little path through the grove of trees, thereby allowing them to more quickly reach the security room.

After a moment of consideration, Lin Xi accepted the proposition. The two headed directly for the school’s grove, passing through the dark little path. It seemed quiet here, with no streetlights, no surveillance... and yet...

"Are you still playing a role, Yang Xinran..." After saying this, Lin Xi sneered, "No, to be more precise, Fourth Sister."

Hearing this, Yang Xinran froze. Then a weird smile appeared on her face: "I didn’t expect you to see through me, Second Elder Sister. Even as a reincarnation, you’re not so easy to deal with."

Lin Xi continued: "The second blunder you made was to be too hasty. You didn’t observe Yang Xinran’s temperament and personality before rushing to manipulate her to approach me. Considering I was cautious of your arrival, naturally I would be watchful of the people around me. When I sensed something was off about Yang Xinran, I figured you might have taken control of her."

Yang Xinran was a bit taken aback and asked, "What did I miss? I kindly ask for your guidance, Second Elder Sister."

"You really don’t understand Yang Xinran at all. Although I did her a great favor today, with her pride, she would merely consider the dance lead position rightfully hers to relinquish. She would hold no deep gratitude toward me, let alone thank me, let alone invite me out for a hot drink," Lin Xi spoke more, her face growing darker, her voice growing harsher. Lin Xi responded confidently, watching as Yang Xinran’s smile grew wider: "Indeed, in the past you were stronger than me, Second Elder Sister. Lin Xi aimed to confront Yang Xinran, but Yang Xinran rebuffed her nonchalantly: "Useless. This Yang Xinran is just a body under my control. If you can’t find my real body, no one can save you tonight."

Looking at the situation, Lin Xi found herself surrounded. She spoke more urgently: "Dammit, Fourth Sister, we haven’t seen each other in a long time, don’t go too far."
