Chapter 395: Chaotic Scene
Chapter 395: Chapter 395: Chaotic Scene
The evening was in turmoil. Su Hui had brought a crew to investigate a nightclub. The place was in a total mess, nearly everything was smashed or broken. There were numerous bloodstains, and a couple of nightclub’s bouncers were reportedly severely injured. The nightclub owner was said to be in a critical condition at the hospital.
Su Hui had a general understanding of what had transpired. In a bid to increase profits, the nightclub owner had employed many young and attractive girls to entertain the guests, particularly those of high social standing such as wealthy young masters.
These young girls were typically from impoverished families, burdened with huge debts, or had financial issues of their own. Hence, they had no choice but to obey and do whatever was asked of them. The chance to meet wealthy clients at the club gave them a bitter consolation to tolerate the challenging situation.
However, an unexpected incident occurred that night: a girl could no longer bear the harsh demands, lashed out, and hit a customer. She even assaulted the nightclub owner and the security personnel.
Su Hui accessed the CCTV footage; most of the club’s personnel, many of them attractive and youthful, were shown reveling and gyrating provocatively.
In one corner, a customer appeared dissatisfied with the service. He pointed accusing fingers at a girl and even slapped her, treating her with absolute disrespect.
Witnessing this man’s arrogant and self-righteous behavior, Su Hui wished she had been there. However, being aware of her professional boundaries, she knew she shouldn’t involve herself physically.
The CCTV footage then showed the nightclub owner arriving on the scene, apologizing and recompensing the upset customer, continually blaming the girl for causing the customer’s dissatisfaction.
All the while, the girl kept her head bowed. Although her face wasn’t clearly visible, her despair and humiliation were palpable.
However, the customer wouldn’t let it go. Unsatisfied, he again slapped the girl and hurled a few more insults at her.
Afterwards, this girl was replaced by others in order to appease the young master, assuming that this change would diffuse the situation. Unexpectedly, the young master launched another tirade, lashing out both physically and verbally at the replacement girls.
Watching such behaviour, Su Hui couldn’t help sighing. Compared to the young master, Du Jun appeared much more likeable. Although Du Jun did act superior sometimes, he never stooped down to trample on others’ dignity.
Su Hui knew that the incident had not ended there. There had to be more to the story, otherwise, it wouldn’t explain why the young master and the nightclub owner had ended up in the hospital.
All of a sudden, these girls collectively snapped. They grabbed bottles and began beating the young master over his head. One bottle was not enough; they reached for more. Su Hui could tell from the footage alone that it must have been excruciating.
After being hit several times with the bottles, the young master was knocked out cold and could barely stand.
This, however, did not deter the girls. Using anything they could lay their hands on, they continued their relentless assault, growing crazier and more vicious, as if they had lost all reason.
While perplexed by the girls’ collective frenzy, Su Hui was distracted enough to cease dancing and spin music at the club.
The young master’s friends tried to intervene, thinking that their strength could easily overcome the girls. However, they were unexpectedly beaten, one of them was slapped into spinning several times on the spot after being slapped.
"No way, they are that powerful?" Su Hui was equally astonished. Even she doubted her ability to deliver such a powerful slap.
The nightclub owner and some bouncers soon arrived to intervene. They outnumbered the girls and quickly subdued them. The owner was naturally furious with how his important customer has been mistreated.
Just as the nightclub owner was preparing to teach the unruly girls a lesson, a group of more than ten women charged in from the surroundings. Saying nothing, they grabbed their high heels as weapons and started fighting the owner, the bouncers, and the young master’s group.
"Goodness, the oppressed has finally rebelled. But ordinarily, only men would dare to rebel." Su Hui found it unbelievable. These women displayed incredible strength. The power of a high heel was genuinely terrifying.
The nightclub owner, bloodied and bruised, looked pitiful as he crawled away from the battlefield, an image far from his typical swagger. He would have never imagined that one day he would be bested by the very women he had hired.
Three women were able to band together, lift a bouncer and throw him a considerable distance.
The nightclub was in absolute chaos. Patrons, unwilling to be involved, started fleeing, leaving the entire club to the warring parties to slug it out.
Seeing the nightclub owner, who narrowly escaped death, being caught again made Su Hui unable to continue watching the footage. She could almost hear the owner’s pleas for mercy.
A male colleague of Su Hui’s commented with a sigh: "This video teaches us a lesson: never upset a woman. Just don’t."
Another male colleague added: "This is what happens when you piss off these women.. imagine if someone were to upset Sister Su. It would be even worse."
Upon hearing this, Su Hui rolled her eyes and responded: "Don’t you all have work to do? Go do it."
"Alright, alright, we’re going." The male colleagues immediately scurried away, their fearful glances at Su Hui reminiscent of their perception of her as a tigress.
Feeling annoyed, Su Hui questioned: "Am I really that scary?"
Well, the entire incident was captured on video. The women had been apprehended and were undergoing interrogation. Su Hui wanted to know what could have been so infuriating for them to beat the nightclub owner and the young master so fiercely.
But the interrogation revealed something shocking to Su Hui: all the women claimed they had blacked out at the time and had no memory of what had transpired. They felt as if they had just awakened from sleep to find the place in utter chaos, and they too were bewildered.
The women freaked out when they saw the surveillance footage. They couldn’t recall having committed such acts.
Despite their memory loss claims, the video proved their involvement. Denial wouldn’t work considering the irrefutable evidence; a mere statement of collective amnesia wouldn’t justify their acts.
However, Su Hui remained doubtful. Too many fishy things were happening here. It was understandable that these women had grievances after being oppressed and treated unfairly for a long time. Usually, people would bottle up their frustration for the sake of their livelihood and choosing to keep their heads down.
But these girls had suddenly rebelled in a coordinated manner and even had the same memory loss story. It was highly likely that someone had mobilized them, leading them to take such a shocking step.
"Who might it be?" Su Hui suspected that the person who had taken the initiative first might have been the core member among these girls. Under her guidance, these girls had risen up in rebellion.
"But isn’t their success a bit far-fetched?" Su Hui still found it hard to imagine that a group of fragile women could defeat a bunch of grown men, but they had indisputably done it.
