Those Classmates who Suddenly Disappeared
Chapter 372: Brother Confrontation

Chapter 372: Chapter 372: Brother Confrontation

"You called me trash, so what does that make the Eternal Life Clan, massacred by trash? Trash among trash?" The boss sneered disdainfully, "Let’s change the topic. Since you planted Cui Qi in my team, you must be aware of my every move." With that, the boss cast a cold glance at Cui Qi, who consequently trembled with fear.

The boss continued: "If I hadn’t encountered Su Hui, and hadn’t tried to seize the crystal ball from her, I would be here much earlier. I think—that’s not what you’d wanted to see, because then you wouldn’t have had time to move what you wanted to take away."

Hearing this, Zhuo Hang’s face darkened. He didn’t respond, but listened as the boss went on: "To slow me down, you purposely lured Su Hui here and gave her the crystal ball, intending to use her and the crystal ball to distract me."

Zhuo Hang didn’t deny it but responded with a faint smile: "Yes, I used Su Hui and others. I also exploited Su Hui and Gu Fan’s desire for truth and slowly dismantled your power. I’m glad to see years of your hard work washed away."

The boss’ eyebrows furrowed: "You’re really ruthless." He continued: "Do you know that I nearly killed Su Hui? Do you know what she said? She said the crystal ball was a token of love from her boyfriend, and she would never give it away."

Zhuo Hang’s expression momentarily faltered before quickly fading into a bitter smile: "Indeed, Su Hui is a rare good woman. Unfortunately, to overthrow you, I can sacrifice anything, even the woman I love most."

"I seek revenge on the Eternal Life Clan for the woman I love, and you’re willing to sacrifice your beloved woman for revenge against me. Interesting, very interesting." The boss crossed his arms, leaning against the crystal coffin, appearing utterly nonchalant: "I want to know, how will you stop me from destroying this crystal coffin?"

Zhuo Hang’s expression hardened: "Don’t think rashly. Our clan has lost nearly a million of its original population in the pursuit of immortality here and this crystal coffin. We’ve lost so much, and yet you want to destroy this crystal coffin that we’ve fought and spilled blood for. This coffin is all that is left."

"Isn’t that good? Immortality should not exist. Even the ancient Super Civilization believed so. Look at their fate—they were destroyed! Why do you think they didn’t take all these things when they left?" The boss fired back rhetorically. But Zhuo Hang remained stubbornly defiant: "Remember, I too have obtained immortality. My power is no less than yours. Areal fight only brings harm to both."

"No problem, I’ve done plenty of hurtful things without benefiting myself. Also, I do hope my brother is tough enough so that I can tear you to pieces time and again." After finishing his chilling words, the boss turned his gaze to Cui Qi: "Of course, as for those traitors—I won’t spare them either. Too bad I can only tear them up once."

Cui Qi turned ashen at the boss’ words, quickly retreating, while Zhuo Hang charged forward, his powerful strike sending the boss flying back.

"That’s amazing!" Despite having seen the boss’ strength, Cui Qi didn’t expect Zhuo Hang to match him.

Suddenly, the boss who’d been sent flying countered, packing a solid punch to Zhuo Hang’s face and sending him flying too. "Little brother, face your defeat. You can’t stop me from destroying everything here. As I said before, immortality simply shouldn’t exist," he stated.

"Whether it should exist or not is not for you to say." Zhuo Hang said as he got up, and once again rushed towards the boss.

The boss snorted and readied himself to confront the incoming attack head-on.

With a dull thud, the two collided with maniacal force. The impact sent Zhuo Hang flying backward as the boss managed to halt only after reeling back three steps. From this bout, it was clear that the boss possessed superior strength.

"Dammit!" Having lost in terms of raw strength, Zhuo Hang was reluctant to admit defeat, but he refrained from acting rashly. Having undergone professional combat training, he sought to attack using his strength to his advantage.

With a series of beautifully coordinated punches, Zhuo Hang’s strikes flowed smoothly, managing to push the boss back repeatedly, even landing several solid punches to his face.

"Bastard!" As the boss managed to steady himself, he counterattacked. But his technique was clearly lacking, leaving him unable to hit Zhuo Hang. After a flurry of punches, Zhuo Hang seized upon the boss’ exposed weakness and kicked him back.

"So what if I’m hit? You can’t knock me down because I’m much stronger than you." The boss stepped back, immediately steadied himself, then rushed forward, slamming his head hard into Zhuo Hang’s, causing stars to swim before Zhuo Hang’s eyes.

Zhuo Hang felt dizzy, his strikes flailing wildly and his aim compromised. Before he knew it, his arm was caught by the boss.

"Little brother, let me show you who’s boss." The boss snapped Zhuo Hang’s arm, causing him to scream out in pain. Cui Qi, on the sidelines, trembled with fear: he knew well that if Zhuo Hang lost, it would be his turn to face the wrath of the boss.

However, Zhuo Hang quickly suppressed his pain and kicked hard at the boss’ knee, breaking his leg in the process. That was at least a minor redemption.

"Struggling in vain, do you think gaining eternal life gives you a chance to compete against me? Dream on, let me wake you up!" The boss roared, landing a heavy punch on Zhuo Hang’s forehead and sending him flying again.

"Dammit, dammit, I can’t lose, I can’t lose!" Zhuo Hang quickly got up again, wiping the blood off his forehead, his serious expression signalling his determination to fight till the bitter end.

"You called me garbage, then let’s see you, who’s favored by our father, bring me down. Go ahead." The boss raised the corners of his mouth in a sneer, not taking Zhuo Hang seriously at all.

Zhuo Hang, enraged, gallantly charged once again, challenging the boss.

The two immortals in combat caused a massive commotion. They crumpled metal walls with their fists and ripped apart seemingly sturdy objects to use as weapons against each other.

Cui Qi, watching their intense fight, was terrified. Debris flew all around him. Crawling on the ground, he slowly tried to escape from the scene.
