Chapter 1669: The Melee is So Chaotic

Chapter 1669: Chapter 1669: The Melee is So Chaotic

At the peak of the tense standoff, with neither side daring to act recklessly, suddenly a massive explosion echoed out. A nearby wall burst apart, and amidst the furious roar, the Big Boss charged out.

"Holy shit, you’re here to join the chaos too!" Gu Fan hadn’t expected to run into such a formidable enemy at this moment—it was giving him a headache.

The Big Boss’s eyes locked onto Gu Fan instantly, and with massive strides, he came hurtling forward, launching a punch straight at Gu Fan.

Feeling the raging force and pressure of the incoming punch, Gu Fan crossed his arms before him to block. While he managed to stop the attack, he was still sent flying.

"Roar! Roar! Roar!" The deafening sound reverberated as the relentless Big Boss kept chasing him down, seemingly seeing nothing else but Gu Fan.

Rapidly, the Big Boss and Gu Fan engaged in an intense fight—punches and kicks flying, neither yielding an inch. They clashed several times, each collision triggering earth-shaking echoes.

Gradually, Gu Fan started to lose ground; he couldn’t keep up, even taking one punch to the head that left him dazed and dizzy.

Watching this unfold, Ning Qi couldn’t help but laugh. "What’s wrong? Is this the best you can do? Do you want me to remind you—the Demon King easily defeated the Big Boss."

Hearing this, Gu Fan’s thoughts grew even more chaotic, and he lost focus, taking yet another heavy blow with crushing pain.

Just as everyone thought Gu Fan was done for, the seemingly down-for-the-count Gu Fan sprang to his feet with sudden ferocity, striking back with a punch that sent the Big Boss flying.

"Are you kidding me!" Gu Fan refused to admit defeat, rising to continue the battle. However, he didn’t chase after the Big Boss but instead charged toward Ning Qi.

Ning Qi froze for a moment, quickly realizing what Gu Fan intended. She immediately cursed out loud, calling him a bastard.

"Sorry, this trouble is yours to take back!" Gu Fan burst into laughter, increasing his sprinting pace. Behind him, the crazed Big Boss kept closing the distance.

Realizing the danger, Ning Qi quickly retreated, her subordinates scrambling to escort her as they fled together.

The situation soon devolved into madness: Ning Qi and her crew running away, Gu Fan chasing Ning Qi, and the Big Boss chasing after Gu Fan.

Ning Qi’s three subordinates struggled to keep up and were gradually caught by Gu Fan. Knowing they couldn’t escape, the trio gritted their teeth, stopped, and turned to confront Gu Fan.

"Thank you for your help!" Gu Fan, exhilarated, threw himself straight at the three remould persons.

"You bastard!" The three remould persons struck back, but it was too late—they were tackled to the ground by the full-throttle Gu Fan, all four of them rolling together.

The Big Boss arrived soon after, laser-focused on dealing with Gu Fan, completely ignoring the remould persons nearby.

With a furious roar, the Big Boss launched himself forward in a flying tackle.

The poor remould persons, who had just managed to get up, were met with the sight of the aggressive Big Boss barreling toward them. Instinctively, one of them swung a punch, but the Big Boss simply slammed his palm on the person’s head, forcing them back down to the ground.

Now all five fighters were rolling about on the ground in a chaotic brawl. The Big Boss aimed every strike at Gu Fan, ruthlessly attacking anyone in his path.

The remould persons realized they couldn’t afford to intervene or let Gu Fan exploit them. Whenever they tried to escape, Gu Fan dragged them back by sheer force.

Gu Fan didn’t focus on defending against the Big Boss’s blows; he only sought to share the danger with the remould persons. He tightly grabbed their arms, pulling them close to take the Big Boss’s punches and kicks as human shields.

"Damn it!" The remould persons, dragged around by Gu Fan and getting beaten for no reason, were livid and landed a hard punch on Gu Fan.

Gu Fan didn’t mind. Getting hit was fine—his goal was all that mattered, and oddly enough, this strategy made him feel oddly delighted.

The Big Boss punched one remould person into the air and lunged at Gu Fan again. Gu Fan swung his arm out, pulling another remould person over as a shield.

Frustrated, the remould person lashed out with a kick toward the Big Boss, forced to fight back in self-defense.

As the battle intensified, even Gu Fan couldn’t hold on to the remould persons anymore and had to release them.

Desperate to distance themselves, the remould persons bolted the moment they found a chance—but before they could get far, Gu Fan grabbed their collars and dragged them back.

For the remould persons, this fight was downright humiliating. Their strategy was simple: run if they could, hit Gu Fan if they couldn’t. But the cost of this was being used as shields against the Big Boss’s punches.

Ning Qi watched anxiously from the sidelines. That bastard Gu Fan stuck to her three subordinates like glue. If one tried to escape, he’d reel them back; if another fled, he’d chase them down.

The remould persons lashed back at Gu Fan angrily, throwing hard punches, but Gu Fan refused to let go and only got more fired up.

The Big Boss, roaring furiously, charged forward again with overwhelming power, terrifying the remould persons who stopped prioritizing attacking Gu Fan and instead focused on countering the Big Boss.

The chaotic clash of the three parties was utterly perplexing: Gu Fan’s goal was to cling to the three remould persons, the Big Boss’s goal was to pummel Gu Fan, and the remould persons simply wanted to escape this hellhole.

In the end, Gu Fan deployed a bold maneuver—he grabbed two remould persons with his hands and trapped the third between his legs, pinning all three tightly to himself.

The Big Boss lunged forward, knocking down Gu Fan and the three remould persons, and the five turned into a writhing heap on the ground.

Who knows what was going on with the Big Boss—he targeted Gu Fan but occasionally, his punches accidentally landed on the remould persons around him.

The remould persons, struggling to free themselves from Gu Fan, also fought fiercely to protect themselves, retaliating against the Big Boss and provoking even more ferocious blows from him.

All that could be seen was the Big Boss crushing the four individuals under him, his fists relentlessly pounding down, while several limbs kicked and punched back hard at him.

This insane battle went back and forth for quite a while. The aftermath saw the three remould persons utterly defeated, barely clinging to life, while the Big Boss nearly collapsed to his knees in exhaustion.

Was it over just like that? Ning Qi doubted it—things couldn’t end so easily. She suspected the ultimate victor would be that bastard.

Sure enough, Gu Fan once again stood up, wiping the blood from his mouth as if nothing had happened. He even casually dusted off the dirt from his clothes.

Seething with rage, the Big Boss snarled lowly, his eyes flashing with a murderous gleam as he dragged his weary body upright.

"Sorry, I don’t have time to waste with you." Gu Fan threw a direct punch that sent the Big Boss slamming back to the ground, unconscious.

With the fight concluded, Gu Fan emerged as the final victor. Though his methods were shameless, he didn’t care, flashing a smile and striking a peace-sign gesture at Ning Qi.

Infuriated, Ning Qi’s face nearly puffed up from anger, but she didn’t dare confront Gu Fan directly—she could only glare at him in silent condemnation.
