Those Classmates who Suddenly Disappeared
Chapter 1587: The Hidden Master

Chapter 1587: Chapter 1587: The Hidden Master

"Gu Fan, can we make it out alive?" The three vampires, seeing enemies on the rooftops and in the alleyways, heavily outnumbered, felt they were driven into a dead end.

So many enemies, Gu Fan sensed something wrong. Is this really the remaining force of Organization X? Not only were there more people, but their weapons and equipment were more sophisticated than before. Where did all these resources come from?

Regardless, they had to act before the enemy encircled them completely. Thus, Gu Fan grabbed the three vampires and flew upwards, hoping to use his advantage to bring them to safety.

However, carrying the three vampires slowed Gu Fan’s ascent. Suddenly, a rocket was aimed at him, and with a loud boom, it was fired.

"What?" Gu Fan was shocked. He was hit by the blast, injured, and fell straight from the sky.

Using such weapons in the city, has Xue Heng gone mad? Gu Fan frowned deeply. Although he and the vampires fell hard, it was not a big deal, but the enemies were insanely aggressive.

Gu Fan’s body, which had been torn open, quickly healed, and the pain disappeared. However, his anger continued to rise.

Soon, enemies gathered from all directions, swarming in like a tide and setting up their formation for a collective barrage of fire.

Seeing this, Gu Fan quickly punched through a wall next to him, allowing the three vampires to hurry into the building.

Countless wooden bullets madly assailed him, instantly riddling Gu Fan’s body with numerous holes. Although Gu Fan was immortal, it still hurt a lot.

"You bastards!" Gu Fan suppressed the pain, picked up the pieces of the broken wall scattered around, and made a throwing gesture.

Seeing this, the enemies panicked, immediately yelling, "Retreat quickly."

It was too late. With a forceful throw by Gu Fan, numerous shards flew out at terrifying speed and intensity, piercing through the bodies of the front row of enemies and then the next, instantly killing more than a dozen people.

"Again!" Gu Fan picked up more shards and then glanced at another direction where the enemies were fleeing.

"Why are you afraid? Having come here, you knew what you were facing and should have been prepared." Gu Fan, filled with anger, threw another round of stones.

The flying stones were incredibly powerful, easily penetrating bodies and shattering nearby buildings.

In moments, bodies sprawled everywhere, blood and flesh flew, screams filled the air, and the surroundings were left in utter ruin.

Xue Heng arrived and saw this scene—a one-sided massacre. Everyone was terrified to engage further.

But if you won’t come, Gu Fan won’t wait. He charged at the enemies like a tiger amongst sheep, knocking down enemies with such force that it killed more than a dozen instantly.

"Come on, bring as many as you want today, and I will kill as many," Gu Fan charged brutally and unstoppably from one end of the alley to the other, flipping, throwing, and knocking down countless people.

When Gu Fan finally stopped, he turned around and saw corpses strewn all over the place.

It was terrifying, too terrifying. Xue Heng, leaning against the wall to stand up, had just tried to stop Gu Fan but ended up being blasted away by a punch from him.

Gu Fan saw that Xue Heng was still alive and immediately targeted him, ready to charge over for a fight, when suddenly he noticed an enemy lying on the ground.

Because of Gu Fan’s recent charge, the enemy’s helmet had been shattered, revealing a face Gu Fan had seen before, was it from the Hunter’s Guild?

"This..." Gu Fan was stunned, unable to comprehend what had happened.

While Gu Fan was momentarily distracted, an enemy suddenly restrained him from behind, tightly choking Gu Fan’s neck with such force that Gu Fan couldn’t break free for a while.

This enemy and Xue Heng had worked together just now to halt Gu Fan’s advance, no wonder they dared to continue engaging with Gu Fan after his killing spree.

"Let me go!" Gu Fan delivered an elbow strike backward, hitting the enemy, but it felt like hitting an iron plate rather than a fleshly body.

"Could it be..." Gu Fan guessed the identity of the person, as Xue Heng rushed over at the same time, seizing the brief moment when Gu Fan was restrained and landed a solid punch on Gu Fan.

Gu Fan had Vajra Body Protection, ignored the attack, snorted coldly, and with a flying kick, sent Xue Heng hurtling away.

"Your turn!" Gu Fan forcibly twisted the enemy’s hands apart, then flung the enemy away.

Poor Xue Heng had just stood up when he was hit by his thrown ally, tumbling head over heels in utter disarray.

Gu Fan didn’t rush to attack and instead displayed a look of disdain: "I didn’t expect the Hunter’s Guild, who always prides themselves on justice and opposes Organization X, would actually ally with the Xue Clan. Did I overestimate you, or is this your true nature?"

Another enemy slowly stood up, carelessly patted the dust off his body, then took off his helmet, revealing himself to be the Hunter’s Guild leader, Lie Shou.

"Gu Fan, aren’t you the same? Initially, when you eradicated Organization X, everyone regarded you as a great hero, but in the end, you colluded with vampires," Lie Shou sneered coldly, looking down on Gu Fan even more.

Gu Fan responded bluntly: "I helped those vampires who repented, while you are fraternizing with evil vampires; we are not the same."

Lie Shou with a disdainful expression: "Maybe we are different now, but it’s only temporary. You might not turn out any better in the future; I’ve seen too many cases like yours."

Gu Fan, uninterested in explaining, looked at Xue Heng and asked, "Isn’t Xue Wang dead at the hands of the Hunter’s Guild? If you want revenge, you should target him next to you. Have you miscalculated?"

"Sorry, revenge or whatever, put that aside; I must consider the long-term interests of the Xue Clan. The Xue Clan also needs to survive," Xue Heng said profoundly, letting Gu Fan guess a bit of the truth.

Seeing this, Gu Fan shook his head, looking very disappointed: "If you truly want to fight for the survival of the Xue Clan, you shouldn’t come after me, but rather join me like the other vampires."

"To be your subordinate? Pah, do you think we, the Xue Clan, are like those lowly vampires? We, the proud Xue Clan, would never bow to anyone," Xue Heng declared resolutely, a fighting spirit igniting in his eyes.

Communication failed, Gu Fan didn’t mind, and began to mock the opponents: "Sorry, with the strength of you two, you can’t beat me. I have a suggestion; you might have a chance if you split up and run."

"You’re mistaken; do you think we want to run? We are here to capture you," announced Lie Shou proudly, as three helmeted men appeared on the surrounding rooftops, a palpable pressure enveloping the area.
