Gu Fan looked puzzled, "Does Organization X have such a rule? I just joined and haven’t had a chance to read the regulations, so I guess I can ignore them for now."

"What are you babbling about?!" Before the vampire could finish, violent tremors were felt repeatedly.

The tall, robust man charged directly at them, tackling the vampire with brute force and sending him flying through a wall and out of the building.

Seeing not even the vampire could withstand him, Li was scared and quickly aimed his gun at the man.

The tall man seemed unconcerned, steadily walking toward Li.

"Don’t come any closer, or I’ll shoot." Li’s voice trembled, his hands shaking even more. Unskilled with firearms, he fumbled for a long time but failed to fire a single bullet.

Seeing Li in disarray, Gu Fan could only sigh to himself, then pretended to panic and repeatedly pulled the trigger, unable to make the gun fire.

The tall man scoffed, grabbed the guns from Li’s and Gu Fan’s hands, and threw them away in front of them.

"You call yourselves members of Organization X?" jeered the tall man before suddenly punching Li and sending him flying.

Gu Fan immediately pretended to be concerned about his teammate, rushing over to check on him, only to find Li unconscious on the ground; it wasn’t that Li couldn’t take a hit, but that the tall man was too strong.

"Organization X is evil, unworthy of life." The tall man charged over, intent on finishing them off.

Gu Fan frowned and quickly rolled to the side, dodging the tall man’s crushing step. The heavy thud made him fearful, truly not wanting to be hit like that.

The burly man hadn’t regained his footing when he saw Gu Fan’s fist coming towards him. With no other choice, he had to take the hit.

Gu Fan’s punch solidly struck the burly man, but the moment it connected, it felt like hitting an iron plate rather than flesh and blood.

"Not bad in strength, but you can’t hurt me," said the burly man, codenamed Lie Tie. True to his name, his body was as hard as iron, impenetrable to bullets and knives.

In an instant, Gu Fan realized something was wrong and quickly retreated, but it was too late. Lie Tie had already sprung into action.

Lie Tie kicked off the ground, launched himself like a cannonball, and slammed headfirst into Gu Fan’s head, hitting him solidly.
