Several people ran over and kindly inquired, "Lu Yi, are you okay? Why do you look a little pale?"

Lu Yi snorted coldly, "We haven’t done anything yet, how do we know if Ouyang Jin can’t be saved?"

Some questioned, "What should we do then? We can’t take a crazed person on the road with us. We’re not doctors, we don’t know how to cure someone who suddenly goes mad."

"Solutions are created by people. With so many of us, maybe we can figure out the key to their madness?" Lu Yi’s wild idea was met with skepticism by many.

Someone sarcastically said, "You don’t think you can save Ouyang Jin with the power of love, do you?"

"Of course not, I’m not planning on kissing him." Lu Yi knew that not everyone was united and cared about Ouyang Jin’s fate, so he didn’t want to continue the discussion with them.

An hour later, nobody else went mad, which meant the location was safe, and Ouyang Jin seemed to have stopped his antics and even passed out, showing signs of improvement.

Three hours later, Ouyang Jin woke up, yawned, and felt sore all over. Most perplexingly, he found himself tied to a tree and panicked, "What’s going on, what did you guys do to me?"

Hearing this, Lu Yi was startled and thrilled, he quickly rushed over and gave Ouyang Jin a big hug, "I’m so relieved, buddy. I thought you had completely lost it, I thought you could dodge the bill, but I didn’t expect you to pull through."

Hearing this, Ouyang Jin was angry and said, "What do you mean? I risk my life for you guys, and you think about dodging the bill? I need to talk to Gu Fan about this."

People around were surprised to see Ouyang Jin awake and hopeful.

Someone asked, "Ouyang Jin, do you remember anything from when you were mad?"

"Alright, tie them up." Gu Fan handed these people over to others and then started to think about the next steps.

Lu Yi and Ouyang Jin hurried over, "What do we do now? We can’t go forward or back, and our food and water are almost gone."

"I know, so I went to Organization X and asked them for three days’ worth of food and water, and they’ll be delivering it soon." Gu Fan’s words surprised everyone, relieved that food and drink were coming soon, but shocked that Gu Fan had the audacity to ask Mo Yun for help.

Gu Fan explained, "I had no choice. Since they want to use us to explore forbidden places, I had to get something in return, otherwise I’d feel unbalanced."

While everyone else was grumbling on their own, suddenly, lots of bread and bottled water fell from the trees.

"We have food and drink, Gu Fan, you really know how to handle things." Everyone cheered and started grabbing food and water.

Lu Yi and Ouyang Jin, starving, disregarded manners, stuffing bread and water into their mouths in a rather unseemly manner.

Gu Fan kindly remarked, "Don’t fight, there’s plenty for everyone."

After filling their stomachs, Lu Yi asked, "Strange, Gu Fan, you’re not taking any bread or water, aren’t you hungry?"

Gu Fan gave an awkward smile, "No need, I had a chicken leg and some dishes on my way back, so..."

Hearing this, Lu Yi and Ouyang Jin immediately looked stern and accused, "What do you mean by that, Gu Fan? We’re fighting on the front lines while you’re feasting behind the scenes, and you pack up these things to appease us. Doesn’t your conscience hurt?"

"That woman isn’t so generous; it’s already good enough that she gave us some bread." Gu Fan helplessly shrugged, recalling the nearly embarrassing fight at the dining table.

"Let’s not talk about this anymore. We should quickly figure out a way to get out of here," Su Hui and Lin Xi also arrived, looking spirited and clearly well-fed.

"Mo Yun said that if we can’t make it through, Organization X won’t provide us with food and water anymore."
