Chapter 1137: Chapter 1137: Break Through the Encirclement

In terms of speed, vampires were definitely superior to Gu Fan, and Gu Fan knew this all too well. He couldn’t escape, so he had to prepare to be caught up to.

"Su Hui, please take care of my parents and make sure you get them out of here," Gu Fan had only one thought in mind, to lead the enemy as far away as possible.

The sound of whooshing began to fill the surroundings, signaling the approach of the vampires, and also telling Gu Fan it was time to fight.

"Kid, you think you can get away?" A few of the faster vampires had already circled to Gu Fan’s front, blocking his path, their faces smirking with mockery.

Without responding, Gu Fan continued to charge forward. Now a skilled fighter, he relied on the invincible Vajra Body Protection to brutally collide with his adversaries.

"You’ve got guts, kid..." A vampire, spirited by the sight of Gu Fan charging towards him, believed interception would be no problem, only to be sent flying by Gu Fan’s strike.

Vampires who had caught up from behind were dumbfounded at the scene. Was this the strength of a regular human?

No matter, one vampire lunged at Gu Fan, roaring, "Kid, leave your life behind."

Gu Fan snorted coldly, plucked a tree branch, then snapped it to create a rough point, and turned to stab it directly into the vampire’s heart.

The vampire’s eyes bulged in disbelief, its body stiffened, seemingly in denial, before collapsing stark and lifeless, its skin turning to ashen grey.

Effortlessly killing a vampire, it was clear this was not something a normal person could do. The vampires then realized they were up against a tough customer, and their hearts quivered.

One vampire shouted, "Kid, from the looks of it, this isn’t your first time killing a vampire, is it?"

"That’s right, I’ve killed several. Anyone who isn’t afraid to die can come at me, but I promise you one thing, even if I’m eventually overpowered, I can still take a few of you down with me. And whoever comes first, dies first," Gu Fan’s aura intensified, radiating an undaunted will to fight.

In contrast, the vampires had only come to hunt prey, treating it like a game; they hadn’t come prepared to fight to the death. Besides, with so many vampires around, why bother fighting so hard?

Seeing that the horde of vampires only surrounded him without any daring to attack first, Gu Fan knew his psychological warfare had succeeded.

Next, he needed to find a breakthrough. Scanning the vampires, Gu Fan noticed one on the right whose eyes lacked combat spirit and seemed to have come just for the spectacle.

"Alright, you’re the one!" Gu Fan did not want to prolong the standoff, so he kicked off the ground and rushed towards the seemingly weaker vampire.

Some shouted, "Stop him, quick, stop him!"

The other vampires moved to close in on Gu Fan but their steps were slow, each reluctant to be at the forefront.

"Whoever comes first, dies first," Gu Fan roared, bolstering his presence and adding pressure to the vampires internally.

The vampire blocking Gu Fan’s path felt his heart pounding wildly, hoping his companions would come quickly to subdue Gu Fan, but he could see they were deliberately slowing down, so he too thought about backing off.

However, to simply step aside would be too obvious. The vampire decided to pretend to hinder Gu Fan, so he crossed his arms in front of his body, posing as if to block Gu Fan’s advance.

Gu Fan huffed and accelerated his charge, using the power of Vajra Body Protection to directly slam the vampire away.

"No way, he’s stronger than us Xue Clan members." The vampires couldn’t believe it, watching Gu Fan’s retreating back. They looked at each other, none of them having the courage to follow.

Suddenly, a walkie-talkie crackled with the voice of Xue Wang, "Have you caught Gu Fan yet?"

"Not yet, he got away, but rest assured, Xue Wang, we will definitely catch this kid."

"That’s good, if so many of you still let this kid escape, it would undermine the face of the Xue Clan, and you know the consequences." Xue Wang’s cold voice pierced every vampire’s heart like an icy knife, instilling fear in them.

One vampire spoke up, "Brothers, it’s a beheading whether you stretch your neck or not. If that kid really gets away, we’ll lose all our face."

Under the pressure of Xue Wang, all the vampires grew fierce and treated the hunt as a matter of life and death, each one regaining their spirit to chase after him anew.

As Gu Fan ran, he heard the commotion behind him and knew they were coming, also feeling waves of terrifying murderous intent.

Turning his head, Gu Fan saw the vampires, each looking fierce and ready for battle, which made him realize there was no use for psychological warfare anymore. It was time to rely on true ability.

"Everyone, get him!" Three vampires pounced on Gu Fan at once, their combined strength overwhelming Gu Fan, pinning him down and then tearing at his flesh.

But Gu Fan’s Vajra Body Protection made him invulnerable, rendering the vampires’ sharp fangs useless against him.

"You sure have good teeth, but sorry, I have a better body. Afraid you can’t handle it." Gu Fan kicked a vampire off of him and with a powerful blow, sent it flying away.

The flying vampire collided with several others who were closing in, knocking them away and giving Gu Fan a chance to break free.

"Next!" Gu Fan elbowed another vampire, dizzying it with stars in its eyes, causing it to roll away to the side.

"And you!" Gu Fan stabbed a wooden spike into another vampire’s body and picked it up, tossing it aside.

The three vampires who pounced on Gu Fan had not only failed to deal with him but also got one of their own killed. Gu Fan repeated the line, "I told you, whoever comes first, dies first."

The vampires were once again intimidated by Gu Fan’s presence. This bone was indeed hard to chew, and while everyone was prepared to fight, no one wanted to be the first to step forward.

"It seems I won’t be able to leave safely unless I kill you all," Gu Fan said with a smile, breaking off several more branches to use as weapons.

One vampire pinpointed the key point, "Listen up, everyone, this guy is stronger than us, but he’s slower. His body is tougher, but his stamina isn’t as good as ours. Don’t engage with him, don’t give him a chance to catch us, and he won’t be able to handle us."

Hearing this, all the vampires perked up, revealing cold smiles.

This time it was Gu Fan who felt the pressure. He gripped the wooden spikes tightly, adjusting his mindset and breathing, determined not to show the slightest hint of fear.

"Kid, let’s see how long you can last." All the vampires swarmed him, attacking from four directions at once, their speed so fast that Gu Fan had difficulty covering front, back, left, and right.
