Chapter 758: Chapter 622: You and I Have Never Escaped the Web of Fate

From the beginning, Amberser had never thought of relying on his own power to confront The Abyss.

What a joke, he was merely a mortal, after all. Zariel had borne the burden for so long, still managing only with the support of other Archdukes of the Devils. What talents or capabilities did he possess to use the power of the first layer of hell to withstand The Abyss?

If Zariel hadn’t suddenly made this move, Amberser wouldn’t have intervened.

But the temptation of becoming an Archduke of the Devils was too great. Who could refuse such an opportunity to ascend to the heavens in one step? Even if it were for nothing else, it would be worth it just to ensure the smooth reincarnation of Withered Rose.

Thus, seeking external assistance was absolutely necessary.

The Hell Demons were unreliable, so he could only depend on the power of those who were lawful and good.

Fortunately, Amberser had quite an extensive network of connections.

The God of Alchemy was his first backer, and when this teacher would act, the outcome was bound to be no mere trifle.

Amberser, holding the crystal ball, returned to hell, and after circling near the Blood River Fortress, found a piece of empty land that was quite suitable.

Magic power infused into the crystal ball, and immediately a massive projection materialized.

It was a projection of an enormous Alchemy Factory that took up a vast expanse of land. Amberser needed to first secure this projection, then he could release the factory sealed within the crystal ball.

He carefully compared them, and only when the projection was perfectly displayed did Amberser set down the crystal ball.

As the crystal ball shattered, myriad rays of light shot out from the cracks, falling precisely into every corner of the projection, and then, like a brush filling in a drawing, it gradually "painted" the ethereal projection into existence.

A grand factory, built like a complex of palaces, could actually be transformed from illusion to reality in such a manner.

Amberser couldn’t help but exclaim, "This is the mighty power of the Deities, truly beyond the imagination of mortals. If I hadn’t grasped the power of Hell Law, I wouldn’t even be able to comprehend it."

It was a very special method of energy conversion that Amberser couldn’t describe with simple words, but as the master of the first layer of hell, he could sense this process clearly.

It really was interesting, no wonder so many people were desperate to become Deities.

It wasn’t just about immortality or strength, but also this grandeur beyond the imagination of mortal wisdom.

Amberser watched with relish as the Alchemy Factory was constructed, staring for several hours until the last touch of color was added, and the Alchemy Factory was completely finished.

The factory began to emit a rumbling sound, indicating the machines inside were starting their warm-up operations.

Amberser flew around the factory, seeing no sign of any internal structures—it seemed like a completely sealed steel behemoth. This was a factory that required no laborers, featuring only many different input hoppers, output docks, and waste warehouses, with even the control panels being on the outside.

Amberser went to the control panel and tinkered with it for a while, then ordered the Devils to bring over the corpses and debris from the battlefield.

Whether flesh and blood or bone, whether skin and meat together or horned and clad in Heavy Armor, all these materials were tossed into the same kind of input hopper. They would naturally be transported by conveyors into the factory’s interior where machines would disassemble and grind them, creating different component materials.

Despite its simplicity and brutality, this was alchemy technology perfectly adapted to the environment of hell. Like the Hell Engine, even if forced in, it would function without the need for delicate handling.

Amberser had the Devils bring in hundreds of tons of flesh and corpse remains, some of Demons, others of Devils, and perhaps even a mix of some that weren’t quite dead... In any case, the battlefield lacked nothing in regards to these materials, all crammed onto the conveyors, and the factory began to operate swiftly.

"Let me think, let’s start with something traditional. Let’s make some Death Knights for fun."

Amberser used his hands to manipulate the control panel, bringing up several basic templates, among which were Death Knights.

As one of the most classic High-order Undead, the special feature of Death Knights was their proficient mastery of horsemanship. The Undead lacked normal sensations, so ordinary Undead would be unsteady on their feet, let alone maintaining balance and combat strength atop a galloping mount.

Most Necromancers didn’t have Amberser’s Soul manipulation skills; they could only make adjustments from the bodies of the Undead.

How to remodel muscles and bones so that the bodies of Death Knights were more suited for cavalry combat, allowing them to bear Heavy Armor and heavy weapons, and quickly master the most basic Martial Arts, and so on.

These were the experiences accumulated by predecessors, considered quite precious knowledge among Necromancers; Amberser himself had paid a considerable price to learn it back then.

However, after many years of research on Death Knights, the templates were pretty much set, and significant breakthrough improvements were hard to come by. Thus, Amberser chose the most ordinary version.

The rumbling of the factory continued and black smoke mixed with the scent of blood and char rose, but within just a few minutes, ten robust Death Knights were produced and came forth.

Amberser went over to inspect them; the quality was very good, although the use of materials was a bit wasteful.

According to the display on the control panel, the materials consumed to create these ten Death Knights were extensive. Under normal circumstances, if Amberser personally crafted these Death Knights, the material consumption might be less than one-tenth.

Yet the speed of the Alchemy Factory was beyond comparison for Amberser; he would take a day or two just to make one Death Knight, while this factory could process them from raw input to finished product within just a few minutes.
