Chapter 665: Chapter 582 Evil Silver Gradient
If there was anything that had interested Amberser for many years after his crossing, alchemy was definitely at the top of the list.
Although Amberser was somewhat of an amateur, he still enjoyed tinkering with various bottles and jars.
And to conduct experiments in the Divine Realm of the God of Alchemy was something all alchemists dreamt of.
All kinds of materials were readily available, and all sorts of experimental equipment could be used however one wanted without fear of danger or waste.
After several busy days, hundreds of various potions and parts piled up in front of Amberser, along with a giant Mercury Avatar.
This particular Mercury Avatar had a story, as it was the first of the Mercury Avatar race created by Amberser.
It was the oldest, wisest, and strongest.
Proudly bestowed with the name "Evil Silver Gradient" by Amberser, it had initially been only the size of a fist, but now it loomed taller than Amberser.
Not only that, but the Evil Silver Gradient had also learned to speak. At that moment, it was looking at Amberser with puzzled white eyes and asked in a deep voice, "Oh great Bone God, why do you bind me here?"
The Evil Silver Gradient remembered when it was first born; the first thing it saw was Amberser’s bone skeleton face, knowing immediately who its creator was and being absolutely loyal to Amberser.
Amberser explained, "This is the Divine Realm of the God of Alchemy, I need you to sacrifice for me, are you willing?"
"My life and soul are gifts from the deity, I am willing to give my all for my god."
Amberser nodded in satisfaction, this was perhaps the advantage of being a Racial God, truly having a group of servants who would dedicate everything to him.
Amberser stroked the head of the Evil Silver Gradient, comforting it, "Don’t worry, it will be safe, though it may be painful."
The Evil Silver Gradient asked in confusion, "Pain... like the Holy Slash?"
The Evil Silver Gradient had been sent by Amberser to duel Allen shortly after its birth, and at that time, this little guy had suffered a Holy Slash and let out a piercing scream. However, that might have been the only injury Evil Silver Gradient ever suffered in its life; thereafter, it had lived a leisurely life of eating and drinking, and after it started reproducing, the Evil Silver Gradient no longer had to battle.
It had somehow learned this manner of conversation later on, making Amberser sound like the Ancient Evil God.
Amberser pondered for a moment, then said, "It might be a bit more painful."
The Evil Silver Gradient firmly stated, "It matters not, my will is as steadfast as steel!"
"All right, then..." Amberser nodded to the God of Alchemy, the experimenter’s mood was stable, and they could begin.
Dozens of mechanical arms descended from mid-air, and blades imbued with Divine Power began penetrating the body of the Evil Silver Gradient, attempting to "slice open" its liquid-like body.
However, as soon as the blades touched the body of the Evil Silver Gradient, it excitedly opened its mouth.
"Ah ah ah!"
An ultra-high-pitched scream emerged, causing even the God of Alchemy to frown, and the Magic Mirror that Amberser was possessing even cracked.
Speechless, the God of Alchemy looked at Amberser, and Amberser looked back at the Evil Silver Gradient in even more speechlessness. What happened to the will as strong as steel?
"Let’s use anesthesia," said Amberser helplessly.
The God of Alchemy laughed, "The habit of spewing lies so easily does resemble you."
Amberser retorted, "You are a deity, don’t spread rumors. If these get out, people might actually believe you. I’m very self-aware and never boast about having a will as strong as steel."
Amberser had always admitted that when it came to willpower, he was just a fragile mortal, greedy for life and afraid of death, acquisitive, lascivious, impatient, unable to endure hardships, stumbling along until now, more due to luck and cunning than anything.
The God of Alchemy administered an anesthetic potion to the Evil Silver Gradient. Despite the Mercury Avatar normally consuming only metals, it could absorb this potion and soon completely relaxed, like ordinary mercury.
Thankfully, teacher and student were prepared and directly used a container to secure the Evil Silver Gradient.
The surgery began, and various potions specially formulated for the constitution of the Mercury Avatar were administered to the Evil Silver Gradient, soon turning it into the Evil Gold Gradient.
Then, the thunderous Hell Engine was forcefully inserted into the body of the Evil Gold Gradient.
When the two fused, the menacing engine perfectly merged into the body of the Evil Gold Gradient.
The two components perfectly integrated, eventually turning the gold color back to the silvery hue of mercury, and no mechanical structure could be seen inside anymore.
The surgery was very smooth; besides the Hell Engine, various Divine Arts were bestowed during the Evil Silver Gradient’s dream.
When the Evil Silver Gradient awoke, a bizarre glow emanated from its body.
Amberser exclaimed in surprise, "This isn’t right! According to our design, there should be no such light!"
The God of Alchemy frowned and said, "We might have pushed a bit too hard, this fellow has already transcended the power allowed in the Mortal World, it’s now considered a Weak Divine Power!"
No sooner had the God of Alchemy finished speaking than the Evil Silver Gradient opened its eyes and let out a deep roar.
Amberser felt an immense pressure descending, as if to completely crush the Magic Mirror he possessed.
Having seen many deities, Amberser had no doubt that this was the kind of pressure only a deity could exert, something mortals could neither look directly at nor withstand.
Fortunately, the God of Alchemy reacted quickly and, with a hammer strike, created a metallic cage that trapped the Evil Silver Gradient.
