Luo Ziling took the brand new towel and camouflage boxer shorts that Lin Lan handed him.

“What if you get pregnant by using the towel after me?”

“Awake? I’ve brought some food for you, come and eat!” Lin Lan’s voice was soft as she spoke to Luo Ziling, “You’ve slept for about two hours.”

“No way?” Luo Ziling jumped out of bed, picked up his phone to see the time, it was 4:20 in the afternoon.

He had gone to sleep around 2:10 in the afternoon, which meant he really had slept for two hours in Lin Lan’s bed.

“I brought your luggage over, and I’ve washed the clothes you changed out of,” Lin Lan sat by the bed, quietly observing Luo Ziling, “The sun is quite strong outside; they should be almost dry.”

“Uh, you actually washed the clothes for me?” Luo Ziling was a bit dumbfounded.

“You’ve washed for me before,” Lin Lan said calmly, then immediately stood up, “Hurry up, aren’t you going to check on the chief’s condition? After that, I’ll take you out for dinner.”

“I don’t think I’ve checked your body yet!” Luo Ziling was a bit embarrassed, “How about now?”

Lin Lan hesitated for a moment but still shook her head, “Let’s talk after dinner. It’s getting late, let’s first check on the chief’s condition.”

Li Haiyang, understanding what Luo Ziling meant, laughed again.

He immediately instructed Lin Lan: “Take him out for dinner outside, and maybe show him around a bit.”

“Have you not visited Qiong Island before?” Li Haiyang asked Luo Ziling.

“No!” Luo Ziling shook his head, “This is actually my first time seeing the ocean.”

“Go ahead,” Li Haiyang waved his hand, “I’m going to sleep early today. You can come over tomorrow to check on me again. Also, Lin Lan, let Ziling stay in the sanatorium, help him get a room.”

Luo Ziling did not refuse Lin Lan’s arrangement.

Lin Lan took Luo Ziling to the sanatorium’s guesthouse and secured a room for him.

A fairly exquisite suite, one bedroom and one living room kind, much better than the rooms outside that go for six or seven hundred yuan a night.

The two then went out and enjoyed a seafood feast.

On the drive back to the sanatorium, Lin Lan asked Luo Ziling, “Do you want to swim tonight?”

“Isn’t it too cold?” Luo Ziling looked out at the pitch-black sea through the window, “It could freeze someone to death.”

“There’s a pool inside the sanatorium, heated water. If you want to swim, I can take you. There are quite a few people during the day, but hardly anyone at night,” Lin Lan said boldly, looking at Luo Ziling, “If you want to learn to swim, I can teach you tonight.”

“Don’t you need treatment still?” Luo Ziling was actually quite tempted.

“After swimming, then you can treat me!”

“Alright,” Luo Ziling finally did not refuse.

But what he didn’t realize was that taking him swimming was actually a step in one of Lin Lan’s plans.
