The Young Master Storms the City -
Chapter 964: The Entrance to Kunlun
Chapter 964: Chapter 964: The Entrance to Kunlun
His time was precious, and even if Ning Fan had the patience to reason, he refused to waste it.
Shuang’er was so infuriated she was panting heavily, but upon hearing Ning Fan’s words, she immediately nodded vigorously and said, "Yes, Master!"
As she spoke, she reached out to grab the tour guide.
"Hey, hey, hey, what are you doing? Stop her!"
The tour guide cried out in alarm, shouting for the burly men around him to intervene.
A burly man strode forward, his large, fan-like hand generating a whistling sound as he swung it towards Shuang’er.
"Little girl, get lost!"
Shuang’er snorted coldly, not even bothering to dodge, merely poking her finger into the palm of the burly man’s hand.
"Crack!"
Accompanied by a crisp snapping sound, the man’s arm limply fell to his side, his face turned red, and he let out a gut-wrenching howl.
"My hand, my hand ahhhh!"
The others looked terrified, staring at Shuang’er in disbelief,
"Damn it, what’s with this girl?"
"She just broke Old Five’s hand with a finger?"
"The devil, let’s go together! Don’t give her a chance!"
The rest of the burly men exchanged looks and quickly stepped forward, surrounding Shuang’er.
The tour guide’s face was flush with triumph, and he laughed loudly, "I told you we have plenty of people here. I just can’t believe you can fight ten!"
Moments later, Shuang’er hung the last strong man on a tree, dusted off her hands, and turned to Ning Fan.
"Master, all done!"
In the trees, including the tour guide, several strong men were tightly bound and dangling above the road like lanterns.
The strong men had swollen faces and bruises, obviously having been severely beaten by Shuang’er.
This was Shuang’er holding back her strength, not fighting seriously; otherwise, these guys would have been killed by her in the blink of an eye.
With tears streaming down his face, the tour guide begged for mercy, "Miss, I know I was wrong! Please let me down! I promise I’ll never bully anyone again!"
"Just stay in the tree for now. When someone finally has a burst of compassion and decides to let you down, then you can come down."
Having said that, Shuang’er continued with Ning Fan and Huo Erba towards the summit of Mount Kunlun.
Passers-by around the tour guide showed no sympathy, instead they scoffed, looking down upon the tour guide’s behavior.
As the three of them moved deeper into Mount Kunlun, the number of tourists gradually decreased, especially after crossing a certain boundary; the other tourists seemed to disappear in an instant.
"Master, I feel something strange..."
Shuang’er surveyed her surroundings, her expression becoming tense.
"Hmm, we’ve entered a Formation," Ning Fan nodded, also feeling rather surprised.
Shuang’er and Huo Erba could enter the Formation because he was leading the way.
This Formation was only accessible to those who had reached the Transcendent Realm and had a certain understanding of Formations.
Clearly, it was something that the people of Kunlun had deliberately created to prevent outsiders from spying.
"No wonder so many Martial Artists couldn’t find the real entrance to Kunlun over the years, because they can’t even get into this Formation."
Without entering this Formation, one will always be outside with the other tourists on Mount Kunlun, naturally unable to discover the true entrance to Kunlun.
"Let’s go. I can sense a peculiar aura at the very top."
Ning Fan looked up toward the actual summit of Mount Kunlun, where he could vaguely see the outline of a building.
It looked like a Taoist Temple?
...
Atop Mount Kunlun, the clouds and fog were ethereal.
The three people who had earlier tried to take Ning Fan and his companions as disciples were now at the summit.
In front of them stood an old-fashioned Taoist Temple.
With green tiles and gray walls covered in moss, it seemed to have been baptized by the torrents of time.
Everywhere was steeped with a strong sense of antiquity.
Outside the temple, an old man in a Taoist robe sat cross-legged at the door like a meditating monk, his robe dusty as if it hadn’t been changed in a long time.
The man in black scrutinized the old man, then cupped one hand in the other before his chest and asked tentatively, "Excuse me, elder, is this place the entrance to Kunlun?"
The three had also relied on their strength to break the Formation and enter this place.
It was clear at a glance that the old man waiting here was no ordinary character!
The old man’s eyelids lifted slightly, his somewhat cloudy eyes moving, and his gaze swept across the three people.
"Go back, this is not a place where you should be," he said.
Upon hearing this, the man with white hair, who had the shortest temper, stepped forward irritably, "Old man, we looked for several years to find this place, and you think you can just tell us to leave with a sentence? Aren’t you a bit too arrogant?"
"This place is indeed the entrance to Kunlun, but I am in charge of guarding it. Your strength... is not yet qualified to enter," the old man continued to speak leisurely.
At this, the white-haired man flew into a rage, "Old thing, that’s just too arrogant! I’d like to see what you’re capable of!"
With that, the white-clad man leaped forward, aiming a punch at the elder.
The force wasn’t great; it was incomparable to an attack from someone in the Master Realm. It was as if they were worlds apart.
But this was something only someone at the peak of the Transcendent Realm could achieve.
To condense strength to the utmost, not wasting a single bit of energy!
In the face of the white-clad man’s full-force attack, the elder didn’t even move. He just waved his hand casually.
