She moved to the window and looking down, she caught a glimpse of Ning Fan and Su Qingcheng leaving the building, a strong sense of curiosity flashing in her eyes.

So young and yet possessing such medical skill and astonishing learning abilities, it was her first time encountering someone like this.

Liu Qingye, though not prideful, had to admit that she was indeed a genius.

But Ning Fan’s displayed genius was even above hers!

"Could such people truly exist in the world?"

A breeze lifted Liu Qingye’s long hair, making her appear effortlessly beautiful.

The temperature in East Sea City was a bit more pleasant than in the Capital City, and most pedestrians on the street were dressed lightly, filling the city with a vibrant atmosphere.

Side by side, Su Qingcheng and Ning Fan walked, her curiosity prompting her to inquire about the progress of the research.

"There aren’t any major issues, Professor Chen taught me quite a bit before, and though Professor Liu’s experiments are somewhat complex, the problems can still be solved."

"That’s good, once we get back, Yourong’s issues can be resolved," Su Qingcheng seemed very happy.

As Xu Yourong’s best friend, watching her suffer through such torment without being able to help had always left her with an unpleasant feeling.

Just then, an excited voice suddenly sounded from the side of the road.

The two turned their heads to see, parked by the roadside was a Rolls-Royce, and a man in a casual shirt approached them with confident strides.

"You are... Zheng Tianlu?"

Zheng Tianlu’s face stiffened for a moment but then he smiled again, "Today’s meeting is like a chance encounter much better than an arranged one, and since it’s almost noon, might I have the honor of inviting you to have lunch with me?"

While his words were inviting her, he had already stood by the car, opening the door for Su Qingcheng.

Su Qingcheng frowned and moved closer to Ning Fan, "Sorry, I’m not interested in having lunch with you."

It was not until this point that Zheng Tianlu noticed Ning Fan, his eyes narrowing slightly, "May I ask who this friend is?"

"That has nothing to do with you, no need for lunch, goodbye."

With these words, Su Qingcheng took Ning Fan by the hand and quickly walked away in front of Zheng Tianlu.

"Once I figure out her purpose, then I’ll consider dealing with that boy by her side!"

Zheng Tianlu was no fool; Su Qingcheng’s sudden appearance in East Sea City definitely had a motive, as their family had always wanted to connect with the Su Family but hadn’t found an opportunity yet.

The two found a restaurant and planned to eat before continuing their research at Liu Qingye’s place.

Just as they were about to enter, a cold snort came from behind them.

"Two paupers think they can dine here? Haven’t they seen where they are?"

The two stepped back and looked up at the restaurant’s sign, realizing it was a five-star establishment.

The speaker was a fat man with a big belly, hugging a woman caked in heavy makeup.

"Boss Wang, these two stink of poverty, better have someone kick them out quickly," said the man.

The man referred to as Boss Wang waved his hand imperiously and said, "Waiter, arrange a table for me."

The waiter appeared troubled and hesitated, "I’m sorry, sir, but they were here first."

Boss Wang glared and bellowed, "Nonsense, do they have more money than me? I’m the general manager of Yunteng Company!"

"But, but..."

"But what? It’s clear that these two are paupers, hurry up and make them scram!"

Seeing Boss Wang’s arrogant and domineering behavior, Su Qingcheng could no longer hold back, "Being rich makes you somebody? As if no one else has money."

At that moment, the restaurant manager stepped out, gesturing for the staff to step aside.

He approached Ning Fan and Su Qingcheng, his gaze sweeping over them, his face breaking into an obliging smile.

"I’m sorry, but we are fully booked, please dine somewhere else."

With that, he turned to Boss Wang, his manner enthusiastic, "Boss Wang, please come in. You didn’t even let me know you were coming today so I could come out to greet you."
