Chapter 722: Chapter 722 As Long as It’s for Her, I Will Definitely Do It_1

"You really do have confidence in yourself," Liu Qingye said.

But Ning Fan just smiled, "It’s not about confidence, it’s about doing whatever it takes for her. I will make it happen."

This firm attitude immediately stunned the three women in the room.

After all, who wouldn’t want someone who could be like that for them?

After a brief moment of being lost in thought, Liu Qingye rubbed her temples, "You make it sound like I’m up to something. I just want to exchange medical expertise with you. I’m very interested in the acupuncture technique you use to save people."

"Of course that’s not a problem," Ning Fan said with a smile, and Su Qingcheng also relaxed her guard slightly.

Liu Xia laughed and said, "Sister, it’s the first time I’ve seen you agree so readily to help someone."

Liu Qingye rolled her eyes at her, "That’s because the things you’ve asked me to help with before were ridiculous. You even wanted me to pretend to be you to deal with your blind dates; do you think I could agree to that?"

Liu Xia stuck out her tongue, a dignified CEO yet showing a cute side.

Just when Ning Fan thought the matter would end there, Liu Qingye shook her head, "However, I can’t give you the Porphyrin medication yet, because it hasn’t been fully researched. That’s also a reason why I want to exchange medical expertise with you."

The previously cheerful atmosphere again fell silent.

Ning Fan thought for a moment and asked, "Is there a problem with the medication?"

"Yes," Liu Qingye nodded, "The medicine is still under development, and the trials are not completely finished, so it can’t be used in practice just yet."

"Using the half-finished product for treatment now, I can hardly guarantee that there won’t be other issues."

Ning Fan and Su Qingcheng exchanged glances, both feeling somewhat helpless.

They had thought they would smoothly obtain the medication, but an unexpected problem had arisen.

"Let’s do this, I’ll go to the lab with you. I don’t know if there’s any way I can help, but just tell me what you need, and I’ll do my best to make it happen," Ning Fan said.

Upon hearing this, Liu Qingye showed a smile.

"Good, I believe with your medical skills, you should be able to help," she replied.

With everyone in agreement, they prepared to head to Liu Qingye’s lab.

In the previous conversation, Ning Fan learned that Liu Qingye was the youngest genius of the Liu Family.

Not even thirty yet, she had already become a medical professor, and while working at the First Hospital, she also had her own independent laboratory.

The Porphyrin medication was developed by her research team.

"Such achievements at such a young age, that’s truly impressive," Ning Fan remarked earnestly.

Hearing this, Liu Qingye gave him a strange look, "You’re younger than me, aren’t you?"

"Yes."

"Yet your medical skills far surpass mine."

Ning Fan waved his hand with a smile, "That’s not true. I haven’t actually studied medicine systematically."

So far, aside from his cultivation, everything Ning Fan knew came from his mother’s legacy.

In a way, it was his mother who was truly formidable.

Thinking this, Ning Fan’s heart filled with yearning.

Just the legacy left to him was this powerful; he couldn’t help but wonder just how strong his mother truly was.

Just as they were about to leave, the door of the office was suddenly pushed open.

"Dr. Liu, you... what are you doing here?"

He looked at Ning Fan in the ward, his face full of astonishment.

Liu Qingye stood up and said indifferently, "Mr. Ning is my guest; he came to see me for some matters. I won’t be taking patients this afternoon. Arrange for another doctor to cover for me."

The director was taken aback and his gaze towards Ning Fan suddenly became wary as he said coldly, "Dr. Liu, you are a core member of our hospital. If there are some petty people trying to approach you with ulterior motives, that would be troublesome."

Saying so, he reached out to pull Liu Qingye, but she dodged him.

"Director, I’m actually not interested in you, so let’s just keep a collegial relationship from now on," Liu Qingye said coldly, "My affairs don’t need your concern."

In front of everyone, Liu Qingye gave no face to the director, leaving him instantly stiff.

Then she led Ning Fan and the others straight out of the ward, toward her laboratory.

After everyone had left, the director returned to his office with a sour face, sat down in his chair, and clenched his teeth with a grating sound.

"Damn it, what’s Liu Qingye up to? Just because of some unknown punk, she dares treat me like this?" he muttered angrily.

Bang!

He slammed his hand onto the desk, causing a vase to fall to the floor and shatter.

Ever since Liu Qingye joined the hospital, he had his eye on this young genius and beautiful physician, doing everything to please and woo her in hopes of winning her heart.

However, Liu Qingye was like an iceberg, completely unmoved by his advances.

The director had thought he could take his time, but Ning Fan’s appearance had given him a sense of crisis.

Before Ning Fan came along, he had never seen Liu Qingye show favor to anyone.

"Who exactly is that kid?"

After pondering for a moment, the director took out his phone and made a call.

"Check someone out for me, the man who left with Liu Qingye today. Bring him to me."
