Ivita appeared at the foot of the mountain and found Jace and Dave, simply saying to them, "I am not of the Raven People, as you both know. Therefore, I am now leaving this country. You two can continue to stay here, or you can leave with me."

"I now possess four independent countries. Wherever you wish to go, you will find a suitable place."

"This is to thank you for helping me obtain the Dragon King’s Fire."

Jace and Dave hesitated for a moment, exchanging glances.

Ivita’s promise was wonderful, and only a young king like him could make such a promise.

But they were rural folk of the Raven Kingdom, and while they weren’t particularly passionate in their love for their country’s monarch, the land now lay shattered, and they yearned for the old soil of the past, wanting to make a last effort for their homeland.

Jace said to Ivita, "Your Majesty, I am grateful that you saved me when I was most desperate. But I wish to stay here and fight for my home. Though the land no longer resembles the scenery in my memories, it is still my homeland."

Dave hesitated the longest. He knew that if he left with Ivita, he really could live a good life.

He could completely escape the hardships here, sever all ties with everything that happened, while his kin might suffer from diseases and poverty, but he could pursue his dreams in other lands, following Ivita.

But before Dave could make a decision, his mind suddenly zapped from sheer exhaustion, causing his scalp to numb, and he remembered the surge of energy when the Raven Rules roamed freely in his mind.

Dave touched the back of his head, "Your Majesty, I too must stay here. There are more tormented madmen on this land, and I know that merely by being near them, I can convey your redemption to them."

"I can’t be so selfish. I am already well enough as it is."

Another point occurred to Dave. "If we stay here, we can help build your Raven mind network. Thus, the revived Raven mind network would become your possession."

"Jace and I can assist you in this country."

Ivita raised an eyebrow, the pinnacle of the new Raven mind network’s prototype was a virtual persona of his own creation.

Plus, having gained recognition from the Raven Rules, the Raven mind network would certainly be under his control.

Jace and Dave weren’t wrong; as long as they stayed in this country, they would essentially be conveying his power. This somewhat resembled the relationship between the Fairy King and the old Frankish nobles, though only slightly.

The Fairy Court’s magic in this aspect was more refined, likely a culmination of centuries of evolution and perfection.

Ivita nodded. "For me, having control over an additional Law is indeed advantageous. The current Raven mind network is too weak, easily detectable, and could be destroyed again by the heretics at any time. Well..."

Ivita’s right eye summoned a Thunder God Dragon, which, through the Spirit Raven King within the Twilight Realm, entered the corresponding virtual persona in the new Raven mind network.

Ivita transferred a strand of his Destiny Magic into the virtual persona, using the Thunder God Dragon to strengthen this makeshift Raven mind network he had impulsively created.

In an instant, the Raven mind network was permeated by streaks of Thunder God sigils, with Ying Dragon Magic bolstering the makeshift network and temporarily unifying with the Law, sharing power.

This caused some mutation in the Ying Dragon Magic. Beneath the structure of the Thunder Dragon formed by magical lightning, a new form of lightning emerged—something like the psychic lightning that first appeared at the dawn of chaos, casting an eerie red glow.

The Raven mind network also became more stable.

Benefiting from the new mind network, Jace and Dave’s psychic abilities seemed to increase significantly. Ivita roughly sensed that their powers were now equivalent to those of a formal wizard’s psychic abilities.

Furthermore, the new mind network also bestowed upon them the new domain of abilities to intervene in the physical laws with their telekinesis, simulating Psychic Lightning.

Ivita seemed to have inadvertently created a new system of power.

Then using the Twilight Realm to conceal the mind network, Ivita said to them, "This way, the heretics will not easily find you and the new mind network. But if you get too close to their Law, you will still be detected."

"You two stay here, until the day I return to this country."

Jace and Dave promptly accepted the mandate, kneeling on one knee before Ivita and declaring their loyalty, "Your Majesty, no matter how long we must wait, we will always wait."

"The heretics will never destroy us."

"We shall remain here, fighting for Your Majesty and the people of this land, until the day of your return when those heretics will surely perish as easily as chickens and dogs, melting away like ice and snow in the sunlight."

Ivita knew that these two had too much faith in him, but the heretics’ laws were now too close to the universally complete Law, and he didn’t have such strong confidence in himself.

After a day’s confrontation with the heretics’ Law, Ivita realized that the reason their current laws weren’t universal is because they strayed into a mix of too many elements.
