Chapter 756: Chapter 400 Attack on Iron Crown Mountain Range and Manipulation of Sun God Sect Hierarch_1

The instant the portal opened to the second underground layer, Ivita saw a streak of lightning hurtle towards her, followed by a high-speed spinning, orange fireball suspended above the second floor of the library, rapidly releasing countless fireflies.

In the air, these fireflies all hurtled towards Ivita.

Every single firefly homed in on Ivita.

At this moment, Ivita demonstrated a mastery that far surpassed the simplicity of a novice wizard proficient only in a handful of high-level spells; she casually threw out three defensive spells as a probing measure.

The first defensive spell was the apprentice level Magic Stand.

This could deflect attacks.

The second defensive spell was apprentice level Fire Escape Magic.

The third defensive spell was apprentice level Magic Dissipation Magic.

Though they were all apprentice level spells, under the augmentation of Ivita’s Light Soul and the Soul Heavenly Palace, their innate potency were already well beyond the capabilities of an ordinary wizard.

Ivita did not intend to rely on these three spells to fend off the opponent’s spell.

This was a probe.

To discern the opponent’s favored magic direction and to detect any magical traps.

Her three spells instantly shattered upon contact with the fireflies bursting from the lightning bolt and the fireball, but her Destroy Magic Cloak kept Ivita protected.

Ivita mused to herself, ’The main magic direction is Flame Magic, the Thunder Magic is just superficial.’

’One must not underestimate the unique concept embedded within the opponent’s Flame Magic.’

Reciting the incantation, Ivita’s ten Hands of Mana clamped onto the fireball continuously spinning in the sky, "This fireball resembles the sun. Therefore, you must be a witch from the Sun God Sect."

"Unexpectedly, the cultists have someone quite formidable."

The Treasure Chest Monster berated the woman emerging from the gate, "This is the great library, what right do you have to walk in here!"

The Sect Hierarch of the Sun God Sect chuckled coldly, "What right or no right, it’s all about seizing it. The rules are nothing more than tools devised by beneficiaries like you to enslave us."

"So you’re a candidate for the heir to the Iron Crown who has entered the great library? Your magic powers are commendable, but you’re severely underestimating my Solar Series Magic."

Ivita looked up to see that even her Hands of Mana clasping the fireball were aflame.

The high-speed spinning fireball suddenly spat a black hole on its surface, akin to a stain on a dining cloth. Subsequently, a blinding flash streaked across the fireball’s surface, so intense that the naked eye couldn’t bear to observe directly.

Ivita had no choice but to shut her eyes, opening The Eye of the Demon on her forehead to survey her surroundings.

The flash should be an energy explosion within the fireball, radiating high-energy particle streams and electromagnetic waves coursing directly towards her body.

Ivita rapidly realized that this cultist in front of her seemed to have simulated a solar wind storm with magic, with energy intensities feared to be on par with a nuclear explosion.

This should be the opponent’s high-level magic!

High-level magic is completely different from Destiny Magic. It is derived from the wizard’s intrinsic influence on the world, and this influence is vested into a magic artifact, leaving a lasting imprint of the person in the long river of history - a great magic.

To have such power, high-level magic could indeed achieve it.

However, Ivita’s Light Soul cloaked the intruder’s Light Soul in its radius and noticed that the opponent’s Light Soul was like the difference between the sun and a firefly in front of her’s.

In other words, the opponent’s Light Soul shouldn’t be able to sustain such a powerful high-level magic.

Before her, Ivita etched the shape of the Dark Door in the void, reciting the incantation to conjure a small Dark Door in front of her, swallowing all the high-energy particle streams into it.

’The reason for harnessing such a formidable magic with a weak Light Soul, I could guess that she treated the bodies of the followers as magic power sources.’ Ivita thought, ’Upon reflection, her magic level is not high. It is merely stacked with quantities. While I would not want to go through the trouble to resist this spell head-on, I could easily dismantle the energy emitted from her spell with a slight modification of the physical rule using my Light Soul.’

’She is still too weak.’

’However, the structure of that woman’s soul is intriguing. Is she preparing to create a Soul of Darkness?’

The Sect Hierarch of the Sun God Sect, upon seeing Ivita being stumped by her high-level magic and covered in the energy stream, laughed uproariously and looked at the Treasure Chest Monster, saying: "See, one must seize for themselves. There have never been any rules. I couldn’t care less who this library is the legacy of, ever since I found it, everything here is mine."

The Treasure Chest Monster gave her a peculiar look.

As if it was watching a monkey.

That was someone who unceasingly read the highly difficult magic books with his Light Soul.

It felt like it was witnessing the emergence of a young Great Wizard Duke.

The Treasure Chest Monster found some vestiges of kindness within itself and advised her, "Don’t get too excited. Maybe you’re a big shot in the desert, but in the grand scheme of the world, you’re just the leader of a corner cult."

"I advise you to remain humble."

The Sect Hierarch of the Sun God Sect looked at it in confusion. "I don’t know what you’re talking about."

"You may not understand what it’s saying, but you can at least see the reality, can’t you?" Completely unscathed, Ivita stood her ground.
