Chapter 464: Chapter 279 The Feathered Serpent God’s Subspecies_3

The Flame Power was in the sea, yet it showed no signs of weakening.

It was obviously not ordinary flame.

She could not have guessed that this was The Fire of Law.

The Naga Priestess exclaimed in terror, "How could a second-tier wizard without a Soul Palace, a wizard who had just become a wizard officially, have such immense magical power?"

"Who exactly is the Valji family fighting?"

From the sky, Ivita-as-peregrine said, "You all have forgotten something. The Valji family presented us with a precious gift — a Sea King monster."

As Ivita finished speaking, the Bullhead Sea Monster, which was eight hundred meters below the deep sea, and which had been following their fleet closely, began to ascend rapidly.

About a dozen seconds after the Naga priestesses were shocked by Ivita’s words, they were horrified to discover that they were being held by octopus tentacles, unable to move.

The surface of the sea exploded, like a fountain or volcano erupting, with water gushing out in all directions because of the Bullhead Sea Monster’s sudden ascent.

The Bullhead Sea Monster held third-tier power, while many of the Naga priestesses were only second-tier professionals.

At that moment, all of them were immobilized and could not move for a short time.

"It’s the sea monster, the people of the Valji family said it had fled from the battlefield, but it seems that it is under the enemy’s control instead. How stupid, did they think no one could control a Sea King creature?"

"Don’t be scared, our people are still attacking their ships. As long as the ships break, these lowly terrestrial creatures will become our prey."

The Bullhead Sea Monster had many tentacles that at this moment entangled the hundreds of Naga attacking six two-masted ships, using its terrible tentacles to strangle them one by one as if devouring them.

The sea was painted red with blood.

Sizing the opportunity, Wilson jumped onto a Naga priestess, opened his mouth to reveal his fangs and began feasting on the twelve-meter-tall giantess.

Innumerable droplets of blood mixed with the ’Mother of the Sea’s’, entered his mouth, healing his wounds from the battle.

The Hearthstone Witch also summoned a blue flower that was somewhere between illusion and reality. The flower was extremely vicious, opening its mouth, extending its neck and biting at the Naga priests.

Seeing the Naga, who were like little giants on the sea, being bitten and bleeding, The Hearthstone Witch felt triumphant.

"This is a new magical plant, the Sadness Flower, that I discovered in the world of the mind."

"These Sadness Flowers can grow longer or shorter and attack anyone I want to attack; they can’t be stopped. Because no one can stop the arrival of sadness, how can you insignificant second-tier professionals do anything, even in the sea?"

The Naga felt as if they had lost their advantage in a blink of an eye, or maybe they never had an advantage.

The peregrine, which Ivita had transformed into, mocked them, "I have said earlier, that you are doomed to be defeated. From the moment you appeared, I started measuring the combat power of your troop. Originally, I thought that the Valji family’s second attack must have sent their elite troops, but now I see that they just sent you, their suicide squad."

The remaining seven living Naga priestesses were filled with resentment, not towards Ivita, but the Valji family.

Because Ivita was right.

They themselves knew what the nature of this operation was.

The Naga priests wailed, and along with them, the ordinary Naga troops wailed too. Everyone initially thought these were the cries of the Naga’s despair.

But Ivita suddenly discovered that within these wails hid a common rhythm, and power was subtly accumulating at the bottom of the sea. This power seemed to be connecting to a presence that was starkly different and incompatible with the environment of the Magic Black Forest.

Ivita quickly inferred that this was a ritual.

A ritual to summon some extraordinary power.

Without his transformation into a peregrine, taking to the skies and overlooking the sea, he would not have easily discovered this.

Because the Naga were very covert.

But once they complete this ritual, a serious problem would arise.

Ivita snorted coldly, his whole body concentrated the Lightning Magic Power, then he used the Emperor Star Pulse and a Thunder Snake appeared from his right eye. The sky filled with flashes of lightning and thick black clouds, the Thunder Snake burrowed into the thunderclouds, and when it reappeared, it had become a Dragon.

In the eyes of the Naga and the observing pigeons, the terrifying Thunder Dragon emerged from the cloud layer. The terrible Thunder Magic Power appeared and disturbed the wind and cloud, making the sea restless.

The Naga discovered quickly that the force passed on by the ’Mother of the Sea’ was so unstable in front of the Thunder Dragon.

If the sea surface were like this, the ritual could not proceed.

The leader of the Naga priests, Gnarla, suddenly saw the shadow of the falcon which Ivita had transformed into, on the sea. It was neither a human shadow nor a falcon shadow, but a shadow of a long-winged dragon.

"That’s not a human shadow, he’s not human!" Gnarla said in a whisper, feeling shock and confusion. When she saw that shadow on the sea surface, she had the illusion of seeing a higher existence. The illusion of seeing the real power in the sea.

She felt like she was seeing the reality now, seeing the real ocean.

Gnarla said, "He is the sea! He is everything, he is all."

In the sky, Ivita also found that the Thunder Dragon magic formed this time seemed much bigger, it seemed like a constant power was pouring into his body.

But Ivita didn’t think much of it, he merely considered it normal.

He didn’t realize that the balance of the forces in his body was tipping due to the sea and the stimulation from battling.

The intensity of the Thunder Dragon magic was not ordinary.

Its mere manifestation disrupted the ritual of the Naga priests.

Ivita, in the form of the peregrine, was about to bring down the Dragon, when Gnarla made a bowing gesture to the sky. "Wait a moment."

"Please give me half a minute to speak."

"Please, wait, the Valji family took away our Naga tribe’s princess and leader, who are direct descendants of the ’Mother of the Sea’. They are our bridge to the ’Mother of the Sea’. Hence, we are helpless, we can only obey their commands. But if you could... perhaps you could help us break free from the Valji family, even from... the puppet princess and leader. And after we break free from the ’Mother of the Sea’, let us still have the right to live in the sea. I can see that you are not human... we want to become your vassal race!"
