Ivita, transformed into a peregrine falcon, circled above the sea, while the massive octopus sea monster raised its tentacles beneath the surface. As agile as a moving reef, the tentacle aimed to crash into the flagship where Ivita was stationed.

Due to the significant changes in the water current, the sailors on the ship began to realize something was wrong, and cries of alarm rang out.

The water seemed to tilt, causing all six ships to slide towards the lower water level.

The octopus sea monster, like a hill under the sea, stared with eyes signifying death, watching coldly as the six ships slid towards the abyss, heading for destruction.

Ivita watched the underwater monster. As a falcon, her vision was very good, allowing her to easily see the actual entity of the sea monster under the water surface. It was an enormous octopus with a bull’s head, its body resembling that of an ape, a head like a cow, and the tail composed of a dozen tentacles churning the waters.

The Bullhead Octopus Sea Monster shifted its icy gaze over to Ivita transformed into a falcon, then continued to watch over the about-to-capsize ships with its eye as large as an adult’s.

Ivita noticed that it seemed not to have seen her, mistaking her for an ordinary falcon.

So, it showed no reaction.

The sailors and pirates on the six ships were yelling in fright, those recently-joined pirates being the most pessimistic.

"What sort of monster is beneath our ship? We’re done for. But if we jump into the sea, can we really escape this beast? Plus, there are those three angry melon monsters on board watching us."

The tentacle of the Bullhead Sea Monster wrapped around the flagship Britannia. As soon as the tentacle attempted to lift the ship, it was driven away by the Hearthstone Witch’s flame magic, or Wilson’s claws.

The Sharkman at the forefront scoffed. "You won’t have a chance to reach the land again, this sea will be your final resting place. We won’t let you move forward, nor retreat."

As soon as he finished speaking, the Hearthstone Witch sneered and threw a fireball at him, hitting him directly in the face.

The lead sharkman immediately screamed in pain. He tried to extinguish the fire on his face with his hands, but the flames suddenly wormed their way into the sharkman’s facial features, invaded his body like noodles.

Almost instantly, the belly of the sharkman swelled up, looking as if he was pregnant.

However, the Hearthstone Witch knew that it was merely a bundle of fire inside his stomach.

This was the Active Non-rule-based Transformation Spell that only high-ranking witches could use, enabling their magic to transform in an irregular manner.

Less than two seconds later, the sharkman’s belly exploded. The sharkman lay on the ground, seriously injured.

The rest of the Sharkmen were shocked and horrified.

Because the strength of their leader had far exceeded that of an apprentice knight, he was only slightly weaker than a formal knight.

However, he was severely wounded in an instant.

The Sharkmen were angered by this and nine of them charged towards the Hearthstone Witch and Wilson.

Though the Bullhead Sea Monster hid beneath the sea surface, the highly condensed lightning pierced through the sea, hitting the monster’s head and nearly causing it to uncontrollably float up from the sea floor for a split second.

The whole sea area became enveloped by the lightning, temporarily paralyzing the sea monster and forcing it to retract all the tentacles it had wrapped around the ships.

"Roar~"

The sea monster let out a mournful howl from under the sea.

Its bovine eyes beneath the sea widened at the sight of the source of lightning. Then the monster opened its maw, sucking in a mouthful of seawater before hurling itself out of the water to spout a column of water at Ivita, who had transformed into a falcon mid-air.

The falcon effortlessly dodged the water blast.

Compared to the nimbleness of the falcon, the water column was decidedly cumbersome.

Meanwhile, the Thunder Snake trailing behind Ivita, in her falcon form, was akin to a missile as it crashed into the head of the sea monster underwater. This left the sea monster screaming in pain, as though it was knocked out. Its tentacles, which had previously been stirring the water ceaselessly, stopped moving. It then seemed to pass out and steadily sank toward the sea floor.

The pirates aboard the ship were astonished to the point of stupefaction at the sight of such a colossal sea monster sinking.

It was only then that they realized they had severely underestimated the power of Ivita.

The sea monster, specially raised by the Valji Family for the purpose of wrecking ships during maritime battles, was actually knocked unconscious by Ivita and sank to the sea floor.

This was genuinely terrifying.
