The crowd was looking at this dark, profound maze. For a while, everyone was stumped. The entire maze was as complex as a kingdom.

Boots Cat led the group down a corridor, and they began to move forward. They walked for a kilometre, passing countless corridors and cement house doors, but there were no changes whatsoever.

This was still an incredibly complex maze.

Boots Cat stood in front of a cement house, contemplated for a moment, then pushed open the door attached to this cement house. Once the door was opened, he found it was an empty room.

Beta Wolfman walked in curiously.

Boots Cat said, "Get out quickly."

Just as Beta Wolfman stepped in, a giant blade hanging from the ceiling of this room fell, and the blade directly cut off Beta Wolf’s left arm.

"Ah!" Beta Wolfman leapt backwards, avoiding a second giant axe that fell from the ceiling.

Beta Wolfman, panting outside, saw his arm on the floor of the cement house being completely burned by a ball of fire.

Milani said, "Look at the words on the wall of this room."

"But why would this text be in a mortal’s psychic world."

The Hearthstone Witch jumped in fright; she had made up her mind to bury the secret of how she summoned Ivita to this world.

Pan God read out the meaning of the text on the cement house. "In this maze, only the chosen one can leave. All the ghosts and gods of the ten directions are the guardians of the maze."

Pan God explained, "This maze is indeed being guarded."

"Someone has added protection to Ivita’s psychic world, and I am not sure why. Don’t be too scared, the psychic world is after all different from reality. There is more illusion here, but our mana will also become stronger."

With worry in their hearts, the group moved farther down. Along the way, they opened a few doors, each with different things behind them.

Some had a man-eating little giant. As soon as the door opened, it burst out and attacked everyone it could see.

Some doors had wild wolves, and behind some, even human soldiers. Behind another door was a three-headed sea serpent.

These creatures weren’t that strong, so they were quickly killed. However, Pan and the others felt that they had been in the maze for hours without finding anything, which frustrated them.

Green Tooth Witch slumped on the ground. "We can never leave, let’s just stay in this maze from now on."

He said to them, "Cheer up, if we stay here forever, we only have a dead end. I don’t want to be assimilated, we can continue to explore the maze, maybe we can find Boots Cat and the others."
